While driving through Ambleside, I stumbled upon this amazing shop. For years, I've struggled to find the right swim wetsuit, always ending up with the wrong fit. Being a size 20-22 on top and 18-20 on the bottom, I opted for a two-piece since nothing else worked for me. On a whim, I walked into the shop around lunchtime without an appointment and met Terry, a delightful and helpful assistant. She listened to my challenges and reassuringly said, No worries, we'll figure this out. She rummaged through a box and found a wetsuit in my size. After a few laughs and some adjustments, Terry taught me how to put it on properly, even showing my husband how to zip it up correctly. Taking it off was just as easy, and I happily made the purchase. The experience was so memorable and pleasant, thanks to Terry's kindness and expertise. Although I reside in Northumberland, I will definitely revisit this wonderful shop for any future swimwear or gear needs. They seem to have everything and are incredibly accommodating. Big thanks to Terry for her assistance!

Great introduction to outdoor swimming. Joined a taster group and swam in Windermere. Awesome experience. Would recommend to anyone who wants to give wild swimming a go.

Walked into this shop at lunchtime, no appointment made and met Terry the lovely female assistant. She listened to my tales of wow, and smiled "no problem let's sort this out". Head into a box and she produced a swim wet suit in my size. She told me how to put it on correctly and after as few miss haps and lots of giggling we got there. She even showed my husband how to pull up the rear zip correctly. I took it off with ease and purchased it. I was so pleased I had got what I had wanted and Terry was lovely she made it a pleasant experience I will never forget!
I live in Northumberland but will definitely return to this gem of a shop if I need anymore swim clothes or equipment, they appear to have everything and are very helpful. Thankyou for your time Terry.

Fantastic Team led by Pete and Andrea! It's my go to place when I visit Ambleside, very knowledgeable and friendly staff and an absolute must visit if you're into open water swimming in the Lake District. The shop has all you'd need and the guided swims are a great way to get out and see some beautiful parts of a stunning area!

This an excellent five star company with great quality items, which are sent quickly. Their customer service is exemplary. I fully recommend them.

Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. Needed to arrange a refund and they were very prompt with it. Would definitely recommend.
