We recently used Talbots Law for the sale of our home at 46 Aldersley Avenue and had an excellent experience throughout.

A special thank you to Rebecca Broxton and Joe Serrell, who were both extremely helpful, professional and reassuring during what was quite an emotional and busy period for us as we prepared for an international move to Poland.

Communication was clear, questions were answered promptly and we always felt that matters were being progressed properly. Rebecca was particularly helpful during the final stages, including dealing with our mortgage redemption, revised completion arrangements and exchange, while Joe was always approachable and kept us updated whenever we needed clarification.

Selling a family home is never just a transaction, especially when it represents many years of happy memories, but Rebecca, Joe and the wider Talbots team helped make the legal side of the process as smooth and straightforward as possible.

Additional costs not included in our quote. Unnecessary documents requests. Solicitor inexperience was obvious. Very slow, took less time for us to buy the property than this refinance. Provided with a how to sign document which we followed which was incorrect. No ownership of this mistake but passed off as if we were to blame because it is a generic document. Lack of communication. We won’t use this company again the experience has been horrendous.

Quite a poor experience. Lost paperwork and took over 18
months to get my partners LPOA

I didn’t have to wait long to get a response to my queries. I feel things went as quickly as they could in regards to the completion timescale as there were things outside of talbots control. No issues, would recommend

No better than an admin service.
They provide zero help when matters arrise and solely copy paste messages back and forth. Expensive just for paper pushing.
