Had to go through PayPal to actually get the tea sent! Ordered on 30th November, was emailed a tracking number that kept saying no information available. My first email to Tealyra received no reply. 2nd email to Tealyra received an apology and they claimed the courier had lost the parcel so they would re-send the tea. That was on 9th December. Tealyra claim the tea was resent on 10th, however the tracking WQ766770048GB which I kept looking up daily from 10th till 15th showed the courier was STILL waiting for the parcel to be scanned onto their network. As Tealyra had not replied to my 3rd or 4th emails, on Monday 15th I raised a PayPal dispute to request a refund. After that, on evening of Monday 15th the parcel appeared on the network and was delivered to me the following morning! The insulting part is that Tealyra, communicating via PayPal dispute, said I had already been told the tea had been resent and put the same tracking number as evidence...Yes I HAD been told the tea had been resent, but the whole point was it had NOT actually been resent as the tracking history proved. The 24 HR service did it's job. Once the courier ACTUALLY had the tea they delivered it swiftly. I used to use and love Tealyra in previous years. Luckily there are hundreds of other tea sellers for next time.

The company's support is non-existant. Despite showing as active on Instagram and Facebook, th ecompany did not respond to support via email, contact form, facebook message or telephone.
An order that supposedly was shipped never showed up at the shipping company.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, however their Oolong & Ginsing tea!!

It is probably Oolong but is tastless compared to others I have drunk over the years. I am also used to the tast of Ginsing and I cannot tast it in this tea at all...I should have guessed when i could not find the info on percentages of ginsing in the tea, but I was in desperate need fir ginsing medicinally.

Years ago i was gifted a box of assorted assam tea and it was amazing. The tea i just got from tealyra assam black tea is weak and im almost ready to try 3 bags at once. Ive
been using 2 tea bags per cup
Its not the tea im looking for. Its too weak.

Ordered teabags - never arrived. Total scam. Dont buy.

I ordered four different teas and was highly disappointed with the amount of ingredients were in each bag, making the tea weak. I have to put two tea bags to get the full flavour. I normally use tea pigs which gives generous amounts of mint leaves per tea bag

Customer service was great, Royal Mail lost my parcel and I emailed them about it Friday evening and they resent it and parcel was delivered on Monday! The teas are lovely and smell so strong.

Can't believe O am writing this as I can't tolerate TEA.
But I ordered Organic Dandelion Root
& organic PU'ERH ginger treasure.
These are both herb/fruit infusions, I was looking for something to aid reduction of stomach acid. I am on Steroids for polymyalgia and it has caused me dreadful acid reflux.
These have been amazing,unusual taste,I find the taste of both enjoyable. More importantly they have both reduced the reflux and helped flatten and settle a serious gastric disturbance.
I highly recommend trying these if you need alkaline rather than acid, definitely worth actry. I am definitely ordering again, very economical as you only need a teaspoon to get a full flavour 😀

I placed an order for several teas and was initially pleased with the prompt delivery, but the moment I opened the package, I noticed a strange, overpowering odor that seemed off. I tried a few of the teas, hoping it was just the packaging, but each one had a bizarre chemical taste and an unpleasant smell that made me question if they were even safe to consume.

I immediately reached out to the company through their listed support channels, but have received no replies—no confirmation, no follow-up, nothing. It’s like they completely ghosted me. At this point, I’ve lost confidence not just in their products, but in their ability to handle even basic customer service.

This experience has left me frustrated and concerned. I won’t be ordering again, and I would caution others to think twice before trusting this brand.

I've been buying tea from Tealyra for a couple of years. Most of the teas are better quality and better price than anywhere else I found in UK. They have a great range of teas so plenty to try. I had some sencha that wasn't the same quality as it normally is and they replaced it without a problem.

Ordered 12 packs of loose teas and as usual received them promptly. Upon opening the parcel, I found an unusual pungent smell coming out of the box. I have since sampled 3-4 of the teas and have found them all to be contaminated. The smell does not correspond to any food products I can recognize and I am concerned about what the chemical is and whether it is safe.
I have contacted them but so far no evidence that they're interested in responding to emails or picking up the phone, let alone investigating the problem.

I am going to refer this to Trading Standards.

I have looked at the other reviews for similar issues and a large proportion looks to be fakes.
