As soon as we arrived their was chaos…
As soon as we arrived their was chaos which you understand on a weekend, but their was only 1 person in at check in and we were waiting 15 minutes! When we got to our alley it was covered in mess we couldn’t even sit down it was covered in left over cake, crumbs and drinks everywhere. The floor was so sticky! I couldn’t believe the mess!

Friendly welcoming girl on desk
Friendly girl booking us in and taking our order. couldn't fault her at all, very friendly and welcoming. Bar staff looked like in a rush, spilled one of our drinks and then got order wrong and lied about drink given to my daughter. Said mixed slushie as requested....it wasn't. Didn't stop us having fun though but don't stress or lie to customers bar people. 👍

Maybe it's just not the environment for me. It felt dirty in the bar / restaurant area, chips didn't come with burgers and the food was basic ... a grey burger in a bun - that was your lot, no garnish, no sauces on the table. Had to return to bar at least 4 times to get order correct.

We had booked a time slot, went to the desk was told our lane was ready for us, got there and it was full of people just sat with drinks and food and party supplies who were moaning at us for telling them it was our slot and our lane.

Before the changes used to come here…
Before the changes used to come here all the time, There is now too much going on there making the place extremely busy and over crowded. The play area not suitable for younger ones and they could easily wonder off as it is not sectioned off. Bowling was overbooked and had to wait an extra half hour which although I usually wouldn’t have mind but had a little one with us and there were no seats available. On a positive note the food came out hot and staff friendly and helpful despite the business.

Felt robbed
Bought three games of bowling. In the third game of bowling it kept taking our shots for us and registering we had gutter balled it before we even attempt to take our turn. It rushed it through the third game then, and when I went to get up to tell a member of staff, the game had ended and a family was already waiting to take over our lane, sent there by staff at the check in.

The actual soft play is nice
The actual soft play is nice.
Everything else very poor!! There were no seats/not enough seats I was standing for an hour and 10 minutes with a 8 month old baby, because there was nowhere to sit, they are booking to many people in that session and over lapping sessions.
Second it’s not very secure, the electronic gate was open. I was keeping an eye on my son at all times, he left the secure part and lucky I seen him walking by the side of the machines.

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience. I paid £16 for myself and my 8-year-old daughter to bowl one game, but due to a technical fault on lane 16, the system repeatedly skipped turns, leaving us with only one bowl each turn. As a result, the game was over in around five minutes.
When I raised this, I was shocked to be told this was a known issue with lane 16. Despite it being a busy Saturday, no alternative game or lane was offered. I requested a refund, only to be told refunds cannot be processed in store.
I then emailed to complain and was offered two free games, which I declined as I do not wish to return. Since then, I’ve heard nothing further.
To make matters worse, using Clubcard vouchers is unnecessarily difficult. You’re required to phone to book, yet the availability shown online does not match what is offered over the phone. I was eventually forced to book online to secure a specific time, leaving me stuck with Clubcard vouchers that can now only be used for Tenpin.
Overall, this was a complete shambles and very poor value for money.

Arrived 20 minutes early
Arrived 20 minutes early, was told we were spread over 2 lanes & one would be 10 minutes late, came to our booking time then told we were on one lane but that lane was already booked, went to the desk again & then was on the lane & had to move people on, then ordered ice cream by the bar & it took 15 minutes to arrive after complaining to the bar so not good

So so busy
Our first visit since the revamp, it was rammed and so busy. Our lane wasn’t ready then we were told the wrong lane. The bar queue was huge. The tables were still full of eaten food and spilt drinks so we couldnt sit down.
A lot of the machines in the arcades had run out of tickets and we constantly had to ask staff to refill.
I also wanted to speak to somebody to book my daughters party but it was so manic that I wasn’t able to

Bowling 🎳 an lazer tag
Really enjoyed the experience the staff were lovely an very helpful when incurred an error which they rectified straight away so I really appreciate that as it made my daughter birthday experience better as she also got to experience lazer tag an also play area we were there for 5 hrs we also had food which was also nice although there was too much tomato sauce on pizza base an not enough cheese so my daughter didn't like it or my son which is saying something lol milky coffee's lovely all in all a great day out for her birthday

Bar staff member ‘Charlie’
Bar staff member ‘Charlie’ - my children asked for cherry slush puppies. He brought back 3 strawberry large, when questioned he said the cherry wasn’t good enough so when I questioned and said my children didn’t ask for strawberry he was extremely rude and patronising.
Second instance, told a manager an arcade machine wasn’t working. We were told to queue and tell the bar staff, my son queued for about 20 mins to then be told to ask the manager. Manager tried to fob me off by asking a colleague who did not help so I went back to the manager and said I was very unhappy. He then refunded the money. Overall it’s an absolute joke there, far too many people, certainly not enough staff either. Been using this place for years and years but will not be returning.
