Protimeter Salts Analysis Kit BLD4900 The Protimeter Salts Analysis Kit is a handy set of accessories for detecting the presence of soil salts. It has enough material for up to 10 tests and includes the following components: Nitrate test strips (x25) Chloride tablets (x10) Plastic scoop (x1) 10cc measuring beaker (x1) 60cc measuring beaker (x1) Bottle of de-ionised water (x1) Instruction leaflet Large carrying case When soil water leaks into a space and subsequently evaporates, nitrates and chloride salts will be left behind. The Protimeter Salts Analysis Kit allows the user to quickly test for the presence of these salts on walls, plaster and wallpaper, thereby checking for potential rising damp, although further analysis is needed to confirm this.
