First time ordering I got chicken breast and drumsticks and mince. Froze them the day the got delivered everytime I’ve taken the mince out and defrosted in the fridge it’s been brown and stinks. Ive had to throw every single one I bought. I’ve emailed twice and been ignored but they sent an email asking me to rate how they delt with my email. The emails they didn’t ever respond to. Absolute joke.

The red meat is ok but everytiime I buy chicken it smells awful. I've never had this issue with any other meat supplier .

Tried to cook some thinking it may have just been the vac sealed bag but the smell got worse as it cooked. Definitely avoid the chicken

You delivered on time on the correct date the food is all excellent The fillet steak was tasty as were the sirloin, The pork joint a bit small but was very tasty it's all good !!

Ordered through the app as i have previously, on the delivery day notification shows a different address not my house, called the shop and was advised to email in, i have not had a response to my email after a few days, do get emails for their offers, i will be removing the app and not using The Fat Butcher again

The weight is always spot on quality is good and texture is great the packaging and delivery is also great good quality meats delivered and packaged fresh .

Delivery is quite quick. We love the cumberland sausages. Would be great if there was more of a range to choose from to be delivered,seems to be the same things all the time.

We love using fat butchers as they are the cheapest out there and there produce are fantastic and great quality..and delivery always comes on time ..

Delivered on expected delivery date all fresh and perfectly packed. So much value for money managed to make a whole variety of meals with the meat that arrived and lasts me a whole month everytime I order. Would highly recommend. You can tell all meats are of top quality too

Love the fat Butcher the meats are so fresh and cook amazing flavour is second to none he gets 10/10 for is produce and an 11 for his steaks

Stupidly 4th time ordering and never again, 1st time order was delivered to late for what i needed it for, 2nd order was okay, 3rd the lamb loins were green and grey colour, smelt absoultley disgusting, and my most recent order ive gone to cook the burgers and they are mouldy, what on earth is going on, please do not make the silly mistakes like myself and ordering multiple times, i have truely learnt my lesson now, feel disguted that there is a company sending meats like this. AVOID at all costs.

Please put your health and your integrity first, before ordering from these people. Bargain prices can mean quality compromise. Have placed 2 orders, and yes they come on time and well packaged, but on both occasions the contents have been questionable if not wholly disgusting.

On the first occasion, I bought a variety of cuts which were passable, although the chicken legs were offish. Put that behind me and placed a second order several months later. The Lamb chops were fine, steak packs, okish, the mince? Absolutely rancid, packets of grey mushy sludge. Complained and had to fill out a questionnaire before refunded. The tomahawk steak? My Lord, old meat falling apart once out of the packet, with a BBD that surely was recently applied. THIS IS NOT FRESH MEAT.

And therein is the problem, whilst there are some occasional good buys to be had, inventory seems to be packed out with other products that have either been deep frozen for ages or are simply off. It is to much of a gamble when ordering online.

I have deleted the app and would rather go meat free that play meat roulette with these people.

4 packs of 750g beef mince all grey smelly and tacky. Absolutely fuming! Chicken breasts were fine and chicken wings were fine. Considering it was packed day before and vacuum sealed the neat would have been off before they even packed it. Just vomit worthy. So so upset

Ordered leg of lamb got shoulder sent, the label on the bag said leg of lamb, I opened the bag the shoulder was green and the smell was like eggs,stunk the whole kitchen out, obviously it was off, thought this fat butcher would have learnt by now that every order I have had has not been right, something needs to be done about him and his false advertising and selling to the public what they never ordered, easy money for the FAT BUTCHER,if I lived nearer I would have took the shoulder of lamb to him so he could cook and eat it, will never use him again let this be a warning to people to send their money with a real butcher.

We had an order for a leg of lamb … they sent me a shoulder of lamb ? It’s on the bill as leg of lamb and on the meat (shoulder) as leg of lamb …. I don’t think they are proper butchers as look like can’t tell the difference between leg and shoulder and the lamb was OF IT WAS GREEN IN PLACES AND STUNK MY HOUSE OUT AVOID SO CALLED BUTCHER

The fat butcher is excellent value for money, good meat quality and lots to choose from with good delivery options and fast delivery. These are now what I call my fat butchers. Gonna get another order in now. Thank you the fat butchers for your excellent service.
