Started well but customer service is appalling. Spoke to them via the online chat after years of membership regarding an unexpected payment and the customer service rep just kept ending the chat without providing any info. Will switch to Pure Gym also cheap and cheerful. Customer service rep was named Avery

Does the job! It's all about perspective. Takes me 10min to get there, open 24/7, fits my needs, it's cheap and the time I workout has an okay atmosphere. Car park is small, but never have to turn back home.

I’ve been a member of The Gym Group in Bracknell for years, and I just wanted to give a shoutout to the amazing staff and trainers for creating such a positive, welcoming environment. Whether I’m pushing myself through an intense workout or enjoying a relaxing stretch, I always leave feeling great.
Though it’s often a challenge to get to the gym, the upbeat atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent equipment make it all worth it. I never regret going!

Weights in the gym are random and sporadic, nightmare to find matching pairs or particular size weights. No items or bags allowed meaning you have to carry everything, which is hugely inconvenient. Carrying a bag isn’t a health and safety issue as presented and seems fine in all over gyms. Also challenging to speak to anyone who works at the gym, understandable during out of hours, but difficult to make contact during core hours.

I’ve lost 25kg in 3 months with a broken arm for charity (Mind) with Craig bro (Bracknell) as my trainer. Bad things happened and I regained weight in hospital.

Craig bro’s guidance helped me try to then lose 25kg in 10 weeks during heatwave times (also again as a full time commitment using food deliveries on the regular type of cycle).

The other guys seem solid too! Eg Ben bro has consistently come across as super humble and welcoming I feel. I appreciate Chris bro having checked up on me often while I’ve been on the floor in between sets of squats or on leg days.

It’s nice to have had some consistent looking faces of long time workers eg Jamie and the Osteopath (I think, sorry forgot his name). Ian the housekeeping man’s been consistently reliable I feel.

The newer feeling people Simeon and Melissa have also made a solid series of first impressions as lovely new extras to the team.

Feel free to potentially ask for another 5 star reviews or similar in future.

I have been paying a 6.99 membership freeze fee for 4 months.

I signed back up today and still have to pay the monthly freeze fee and start up fee together with no refund.

When I asked for the T's&C's over the phone, the lady hung up on me.

Would not recommend this gym, especially in Bracknell. Try Pure

I was then told to email customer services for an update. Never got a reply

adding to my last review. I email review as they asked. they do nothing even with all context of previous emails.
The support team reason for only giving half back is due to usage. Which was no usage as my guest could not get in so therefore i didn't use the gym . I cancelled on the same day and they are going to charge me for it. Joke Company BEWARE !

I have logged my car still received the ticket for parking at THE GYM BRACKNELL. I am paid member and had proof about attending the gym at the time stated at parking ticket. I have approached the manager Tom Parker who refused to even entertain the ticket and said it’s your fault not registering properly. I couldn’t believe my ears and he says he a manager. I don’t know how he qualified for that job as he doesn’t know anything about customer service. I am not surprised why THE GYM BRACKNELL has less than 46% likes to top it up they have 28% one star I guess customer couldn’t give them 0 star…. Unbelievable

I only came on here to see if anyone else had fallen foul to the parking fine and it’s appears it wasn’t just us!

We were down visiting family and deciding to use my multi gym access and guest pass for my partner to receive a parking fine a week later for £60!!!

There was NO signs to say you must register your car when at the gym! I go the two other gym groups and have never had to do this before. Absolutely disgraceful!

We will be appealing the parking fine but this is ridiculous and can guarantee we won’t visit this gym again when visiting family.

Like hundreds of other members I have been scammed with 2 parking penalty notices. I appealed and had no luck so still due to pay £100! I have contacted the gym, who is ignoring me now, absolutely disgusting treatment of members. I have been a member since gym opened but will be cancelling my membership now out of principal. I will also be leaving honest negative feedback and post on Twitter, warning other members and potential new customers.

Bracknell Gym! Very spacious and aways extremely clean, all areas,upstairs,downstairs,the bathroom plus changing room. So even when busy you can still train,. The PTs are excellent,a shout our for Joe, Chris and Ben who always have time to offer advice and often adapt classes to suit customers who may not be as enabled as regular customers. Even the the most novice of customers are made to feel welcome, sometimes this friendly banter is just the tonic needed to keep my motivation at the levels required

Been going off and on for many years now, but just been hit with two parking fines of £60 each from just over a week ago, and have been a further 3 times since. So now I have to pay £280 to go to the gym where parking SHOULD BE FREE!

Furious.... been using this gym on and off for years . Got hit with a £100 . Parking ticket !!! £60 if payed in 28 days . Just read other complaints on here . If they know this is happening! Then why not tell / warn there MEMBERS! I would hang a giant sign in the entrance and send emails as soon as you sign up .

Going to cancel membership out of principal. This is no way to run a company.

If you can't control the Parking company you can control the information you give new - returning members .

Abosute day light robbery. How is this legal and how is the gym letting there landlord fleece its customers.

what’s not great is the lack of parking, car park needs to be expanded drastically as queues to get in to the car park and to wait for a space is not good

£60 parking fine for parking in the gym car park when using the gym. Although check in is signed the check in device is not by the sign. Not very helpful for new members. No communication about this when I joined.
So now my first month of the gym has cost £80+. What a rip off. Feel like I have been scammed.

Really mixed bag. Positive: really spacious place, big capacity with various machines and areas to exercise. Never had to queue to utilise any of the machines. Love the two floors aspect and how bright it is there. Negative: parking is almost always full (need more space), it is fairly dirty there - the showers are really bad, changing rooms are dirty, the lockers don’t work well, machines and floors need detailed cleaning and overall space needs some refurbishment.

I went for a workout back in November and a week later I received a parking ticket. Apparently they have changed their parking arrangements, now we have to enter our Reg No. on their system. Not a problem, if they told me! I have received no correspondence regarding this (email). When I challenged them their response was “there are notices up”. Now they are not acknowledging my emails. Surely they have a Duty of Care to inform their members of this change? I have been a member at Bracknell now for a few years, do not expect this treatment. Great Management The Gym Head Office, wish I was that brave.

I absolutely fuming been a member for over 5 years! & lately I have had 3 car park bills! I have tapped my reg into the tablet. I go early about 4/5am so it’s not busy as well. Can anyone help me! 😢🤬
