The Gym Group Leeds Headrow will be permanently closing on Friday 22nd December at 12 noon. Members can continue to access the gym as normal until the closing date. We will be contacting members via email with further details on your payments and how you can continue your fitness journey with us. We’ve provided our list of gyms in Leeds for you below in the blue button, but if you want to find one closer to you just use our Find A Gym tool by selecting the white button where you can enter your postcode or location.

No happy with the email I got from you…
No happy with the email I got from you saying my behaviour was unacceptable, I thought it was a mistake as all I do in the gym is scape from life stress, do lot of exercise without looking anybody or bothering anybody and had this email, very agresive saying that on a Saturday I stay after close time.
This gym has been 24h open and all of the sudden changed so many people made the mistake the first week of the change as no member of the staff was around to remind custumers.
It was a very unrespectible way to tell someone off.
I am the one no happy with your poor behaviour

I would like to give a shout out to Chloe Moore. I first met her on my first day at the gym and she made me feel welcome and orientated me around. It was also clear that there is no upselling in this gym which is what i was looking for.
Over the course of the many months, Chloe always greeted everyone with a smile. She somehow is always cheerful and lifts the mood of the gym. I have also noticed her going around cleaning the equipment.
I have joined many of her classes and she is accomodating to all levels of exercise ability. gives clear instruction, pumps the atmosphere up and pushes us to do our best.
definitly an asset to this gym.

Leeds Headrow - Laila Nelson
I’ve been using this gym for several months now and I haven’t really interacted with the PTs because I usually go late at night. However, today, I booked my first class with Laila, and I will most definitely be booking again!
Laila is a fantastic trainer who conducts her sessions in a friendly, inclusive, and energetic manner which really makes you feel like she does want the best for you. I felt like Laila creates the space you need to achieve your goals and provides the perfect level of encouragement to get there while ‘checking-in’ to see if the pace/activities are suited to your ability. Laila is also super friendly and ensures you feel comfortable (such as greeting everyone with a smile and her bubbly sense of humour) in the gym and the activities that she leads.
If Laila is reading this - you’re fab and keep doing what you’re doing to make everyone feel like the gym is a place for them. If anyone else is reading this - I would 1000% recommend Laila for any activity at this gym. On my way out of the gym I also saw Laila does gel extensions in the gym, so book that class and get your nails done too!

Fit boxing with Laila
I was doing my normal fit gym routine, when Laila made an invitation to try her boxing class. It was a first time but I really enjoyed and definitely will come back for more. Thank you coach Laila.

Laila was incredibly supportive
Laila was incredibly supportive! I asked if she could show me and my friend how to do a deadlift correctly and she stayed with us until we were doing them properly with confidence and comfort. Really appreciate it

Great gym, really good value for money and enjoy the range of classes available and equipment! I PT with Laila and she’s an absolute angel, super supportive and has helped me see a difference already!

Good experience, very kind PT! :)
The gym had free deadlifts workshops and I couldn’t make it to any of the workshops. But one of the PT, Laila, kindly did an extra workshop for me and my friend. She explained everything very well and was very encouraging!

I really enjoy all my workouts in the gym. Very safe and enjoyable area! Staff are really nice and welcoming! Would definitely recommend this gym.

Atmosphere was very friendly. Equipment is very easy to use and understand. Location is accessible to those with accessibility needs and staff are lovely; always there to help if you need it.

Lately a few gym equipment have become a little useless because they have become too old and need to be repaired.

Been going to this gym around 4 weeks…
Been going to this gym around 4 weeks now and really impressed. All staff friendly and the gym is really nice with good standards of equipment. Started the boxer size class recently and the instructor Liala is very good, motivated.

They gym as some amazing machines and is always clean. Staff are absolutely lovely, always helpful and willing to lend a hand with a big smile.
My PT Laila, is a next step, walking me to my goals with extreme professionalism and amazing routines, very friendly and flexible, allowing me to fit exercise in my busy life.
