Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I trained in the UK as a personal development coach and the coaching skills I learnt were really useful as my role as a manager. It was an accredited course and it was very clear what a coach is and how you should behave.

A friend of a friend was hyping up this life changing, transformative, free week long coaching experience. Free coaching for a week what could go wrong?

On the very first session I was told that I would be perfect as a life coach and I should consider paying for the exclusive course run by Little Volcanoes. Yes, the very first session. When I said I wasn’t interested, the mood changed.

They make big promises. They charge thousands for their course. Within the first session nearly every rule that I was taught on my UK ICF accredited course was broken.

The coaches get commission from selling the coaching course. Make of that what you will.

If you are in the UK there are many ‘coaches’ following this model and using very similar marketing.

I would read the other negative reviews and be careful before parting with any money. If you are struggling then please find an appropriate, skilled and licensed therapist who has had the years of professional training and experience to work with various issues.

I am coming back to review after my last review was removed and then there was an influx of positive reviews left by community members. I personally believe these reviews came with incentive as during my time within the Volcano I witnessed incentives being given for sign ups and pressure to leave positive reviews. Trust Pilot says people with special relationships such as people working with the business can't leave reviews, yet several of the reviews here were active members that promoted joining the community for incentive at the time their reviews were left.

I lost my mother to murder and went no contact with my narcissistic family. I found myself alone and without a support system. The coach that did my GYST intake and my personal GYST coach both told me the Volcano would be a community to support me and to help me find work from home.

They host dance parties to drive up energy and excitement before talking about spiritual concepts, game-ifying chores, and utilizing NLP techniques to reprogram how you think and approach your life. My personal coach would private message me during zoom calls telling me she loved me and how special I was while the community itself constantly praises each other. As someone with trauma involving trauma bonds relationships, I feel like I was love bombed to pressure me to join. My coach knew I was disabled, without a job, and losing my house, and she still encouraged me to sign up for an expensive program to "help" me become the best me. The emails I received used language to make me feel special and told me to make the commitment to myself and my dreams by joining their community. I never thought about life coaching until experiencing the GYST.

After joining Bizcraft, it did not feel like the GYST. I felt uncomfortable watching coaches coaching coaches to coach more people into becoming coaches. There are coaches within the program, my bizcraft coach is one, that claim to be trauma informed but hold no certifications or degrees beyond made up coaching degrees. Or at least this was the case while I was under her care. Some of the ways the lead coaches spoke to other students made me feel uncomfortable and felt insensitive to me. In my personal sessions, I would go into the session feeling excited to talk and by the end would be a crying, hysterical mess, unable to get back to my day. I felt like my trauma was being invalidated, and I continuously expressed having suicidal feelings. My coach acted as if this was normal, and she never once referred me to a licensed therapist. She would just tell me I did a good job releasing energy each session.

I also expressed being on the verge of homelessness and struggling financially, but I was not allowed to leave the community. When I fell behind on my payments, I lost my coach and the accountant would message me about when I can start paying again. I felt pressured to pay for a service that I wasn't using and that never positively impacted my life (it actually had the opposite effect.) It felt like my struggles as a human being did not matter to these people that call themselves healers. My feelings,concerns, and struggles were ignored, and I felt more alone than ever.

I felt like I had been scammed. There was no accountability on their end, but there is heavy emphasis on accountability for clients. When I was finally offered a way out, I was told I would have to continue making payments, and I would have to sign an NDA stating I could not speak to anyone I met in the community or speak publicly about what I experienced in the community. Rather than signing, I decided I did not want to be silenced. I spoke about what I experienced, how it impacted me, and my opinions on the community. I was then threatened with legal action if I did not remove my video, and community members left bullying comments on my video. To me, this also reminded me of the trauma I lived through as a child and within some romantic relationships where fear and insults were used.

Doctors and professionals with degrees allow negative reviews of their business to be made public, so why can't this business run by an ex hair stylist and yoga coaches? What makes these people qualified to be handling people's trauma and coaching their lives? If their business really helps people, why are the people that they have hurt silenced? Why are some of these reviews made by members with affiliation links that get money for signing up? Why is this program more expensive than earning an associates degree in many states or attending therapy weekly? These are some questions I have along with many others.

Maybe it works for some. Maybe they are under the illusion it's good for them like I feel like I was until I got away from it. Who knows? This business hurt me financially and emotionally, and I regret my decision to trust this business.

It’s hard to meet like minded people as you get older and the Volcano is the perfect place to find relationships that will sustain you as you grow and flourish. I couldn’t recommend being part of this more highly to anyone who wants to truly live their life from an empowered, energised and joyful place.

I first connected with The Little Volcano in Oct 2023 via their GYST challenge and have been in their Biz craft and coachery program since Sept 2024 (4 months). I LOVE this program. I've done many other courses and have been on a journey of spiritual and personal transformation for years but it's only now that I've found somewhere where I feel I can truly be myself. The support is unmatched, both from the coaches and the other participants in the program. Through this community I'm growing in confidence and being held accountable to creating a beautiful abundant and varied life where I get to stand in the fullest expression of my creative and spiritual gifts. I will never regret my decision to work with The Little Volcano. Kit and Rosie are the real deal; authentic, kind, inspiring leaders who truly care about their clients and the visions they're helping them to realise.

A life-changing experience with The Little Volcano Company!

If I could give The Little Volcano Company more than five stars, I would. This is not just a coaching company—it’s a transformational force, a sacred space where growth, healing, and empowerment ignite like the heart of a volcano. From the moment I began my training, I knew I had stepped into something extraordinary.

The depth of wisdom, the level of support, and the sheer magic woven into every aspect of this program are unparalleled. The guidance I have received has been both profoundly spiritual and deeply practical, giving me the tools to not only elevate my own life but to be of greater service to others. The Little Volcano presents itself as a transformational coaching program, but in reality, it pushes harmful ideology that victim-blames, gaslights, and forces individuals to take ownership of trauma that was never their fault. This program promotes psychological advice that can be damaging—especially for those with a history of abuse, PTSD, or other mental health conditions.

Their approach encourages hyper-independence, over-explaining, and even trauma dumping, all under the guise of "self-growth." Instead of fostering healing, they shame participants for their reactions to past abuse, subtly implying that they are responsible for their own suffering.

The Little Volcano also lacks any real commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Their teachings reflect a one-size-fits-all mindset that disregards neurodivergent individuals and dismisses legitimate mental health struggles as “excuses.” Their life coaches are unqualified to handle complex trauma, yet they impose rigid, victim-blaming narratives that can push people into crisis.

Worst of all, their unethical practices violate the ICF Code of Ethics, which is the industry standard for coaching and the ethics The Little Volcano teaches and claims to adhere to. If you've endured narcissistic abuse, childhood trauma, experienced rape, molestation, or any form of deep emotional pain, this program will only retraumatize you.

Many who leave the program find themselves needing legitimate mental health care to undo the harm caused by their coaching. If you value your well-being, stay far away from The Little Volcano. There are real, licensed professionals out there who can help—you won’t find them here.

The Little Volcano is more than just a coaching company. They teach another generation of coaches to be authentic and heart-led to help the world make the connections they need to start healing and growing, for real. They create a community environment where individuals can get support and express the truest versions of themselves. They offer more hands-on training opportunities than any other coaching school on the planet, no doubt.

When I went through the program, I had lost sight of what was possible for me as a healer and artist. I have had a year of inspiration and learning that completely turned my life around and got me back on track for what I was meant to do with my life. My relationships improved, my health improved, my sense of belief in myself has allowed me to create a business doing sessions and events that help people find a way in a lost world.

TLV are life changers, miracle makers and all around healing creative geniuses! Luckily, I was invited into their GYST challenge in Sept 2022. I was desperate to get out of the grief and anger that had consumed my life! The daughter of a psychiatrist, one might think I already had “the tools”. Alas, I was drowning in my own deceptions… and life’s circumstances had taken over… Until, I was introduced to Kit & Rosie & the incredible TLV coaching team! It may sound cliche, but the challenge saved me, it shifted my consciousness, so I could Heal. I once again could start to believe in Magic, Hope & Faith again. Then, during my BizCraft immersion; my mother died and my 17 year marriage crumbled… Without TLV & all the tools they have shared with me, I may have crumbled. Instead, I have risen like a Phoenix! I am happier, healthier, wealthier and more in love with my life and myself than I ever have been (or knew was possible). Their coaching and teachings have helped me create the life I could once only dream of… and now, I’m living it! And, loving it! Jump in, TLV is always brewing up more Magic! When I look back on my life, my year in Bizcraft and Coachery will be one of the highlights! Through this program and The Little Volcano Get Yourself Together Challenge, I’ve started showing up more authentically, have better relationships, a clearer vision for my big life goals, freedom from rescuer and perfectionist patterns, and an incredible community of compassionate, loving, wacky humans to turn to who just wanna have fun! It’s the best and I truly believe there isn’t anything else like the Volcano community. This along with the tools and action steps in Bizcraft keep me inspired and hold me accountable at every turn. There is no shortage of opportunities to connect, learn, try new things, and grow grow grow here. An amazing experience, led and cultivated by some pretty fantastic Volcanic people who continuously go above and beyond! No regrets!

I joined the volcanoes about 2 years ago. I started out in private coaching and then jumped into their bizcraft coaching program. Since then my life has absolutely exploded! I have had more success in the last two years than I have in the last 10! I have had relationships improve including those with my kids, absolute miracles happen and I have transformed the way I think about myself. I had always wanted to go into coaching and now I am coaching the challenges that changed my life! Recently I had a house listed for sale and it sold for $40,000 over the asking price after putting my intentions into the universe. Magic happens here! This community is so loving and supporting. I know that if I fall down in life I have a place to go. I can't imagine my life without the Volcanoes! Lava you! ❤️
