What a delightful lunch today we booked we had the special on at the moment a ploughman's. It was presented beautifully plenty of food. Service was warm and friendly. Altogether a lovely lunch. Pub was busy so would suggest booking.

A few weeks ago, I joined some friends for a Sunday roast at this place, and it was an outstanding experience. Everything from the food to the service and the ambience was impeccable. The straightforward onion gravy paired perfectly with the beef roast and the crunchy potatoes. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Our company celebrated Christmas with dinner on December 9th at this restaurant. The food was fantastic and full of flavor, with absolutely no issues. I enjoyed garlic prawns as an appetizer, followed by beef bourguignon and a yule log for dessert. Some colleagues opted for the traditional dinner, while others chose salmon or vegetarian wellington. The ambiance was delightful and everything was efficiently managed. Highly recommended!

We stop off here quite often on our way from Exeter to Cullompton.
The food is fantastic, not just any run of the mill pub grub. Good choice of drinks and the staff are great.
You know it’s good when you see so many other 5 star reviews.
Highly recommended.

Had a Sunday roast the other week here with friends. Cannot fault the food, service and atmosphere here. The no-nonsense onion gravy was delish especially with the beef roast and crispy potatoes. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic pub with friendly staff and excellent selection of beer.

The new owners have made a huge changes everything from the reshaped garden (amazing views) and the beautiful new bar are great.

And the food is off the scale. Portions are not massive but the quality of the cooking is amazing. A real treat.

Huge car park opposite the pub. Great variety of pub foods on the menu, very well priced. The food is delicious and the portions are hearty - the chips are exceptionally good. Well stocked drinks selection. Clean tables and pub. The staff are friendly, kind and polite. It is a very dog friendly pub. Whenever we are in Devon, we always visit.

Great Village pub and overnight stay!

Stayed overnight for a function locally, lovely Garden Room - really cosy on a cold night! Complimentary water, snacks and nice touches like real coffee (vs. coffee out of a sachet), not forgetting the torch for our walk home!

Delicious breakfast, catering gluten free was no problem.

All the staff really friendly & genuinely keen to ensure your stay was enjoyable - which given they’d only taken over a few weeks ago - great job!

Great pub with fantastic local beers and excellent food.

We had our works Christmas Dinner here on 9th December. Superb meals, really tasty. No complaints. Had garlic prawns for starter, beef bourguignon and yule log. Others had traditional dinner, or salmon or vegetarian wellington. Really good atmosphere, very well organised.
