Excellent shop. Friendly, caring. You can tell they don’t just sell skates. They skate! They looked after me with what I needed for my skates. And I appreciate all their help. Ivo is a great guy. Thanks again.

We kwamen hier speciaal langs voor skates, maar er stonden 2 jonge personen in de winkel. Lijken wel aardig maar kunnen niet de prioriteit stellen/de werkdruk aan. Skates uitgeprobeerd maar na een kwartier bij de kassa te hebben gestaan de aankoop maar laten zitten. We kopen het wel ergens online.
Ter verbetering: zet meer groentjes in ter vergelijking met ervaren personen. Of stel al het reparatie werk uit tot een andere dag. Als er 10 man in de rij bij de kassa staat (ook met dozen om te kopen), geef dat dan voorrang en pak de reparaties op bij een rustiger moment

Super mooie winkel! En je kunt echt elk model skate passen. Personeel heeft ook veel kennis en kan je goed adviseren.

I bought a pair of skates from Argentina in December. I could not receive the product due to an invoicing error generated by the shop itself and, after three months, I still have not received a refund. They also refuse to specify when the refund will be issued or how much money will actually be returned.

The problem started with their checkout system. I filled in all the information requested on the website, but it never explains that completing certain optional fields can transform a personal invoice into a company invoice. The store issued a hybrid invoice listing an institution together with all my personal details, without even requesting the fiscal information normally required for business imports.

After I reported the error, the shop refused to take responsibility. They want me to pay for the return shipping of a product I never received and deduct import costs that they cannot even specify. They also say the refund will only be considered once they receive back the skates that were never delivered to me.

Three months have passed since the purchase and there is still no clear resolution. I have never experienced such a lack of transparency in an online purchase.

Friendly, helpful people, I received excellent service. I definitely recommend this is soul.

Ook online kreeg ik snel reacties via de mail en werd er ook veel informatie gegeven als antwoord op elke vraag die ik had.

Mails worden niet beantwoord telefoon nemen ze niet op en zelfs via hun sociale media reageren ze niet ik wacht nu al 1.5 week op mijn bestelling! Laatste keer dat ik hier zal bestellen ! Of überhaupt de winkel zal bezoeken want dat is vorige keer ook dik tegen geslagen !

I was one of the first people to preorder the new Faction skates through This Is Soul. Despite that, I never received my pair — while others who ordered much later already had theirs.

The most frustrating part? They never contacted me. I only realized something was wrong after everyone else got their skates, and I reached out myself. That’s unacceptable customer service.

This wasn’t an isolated case either — a friend of mine experienced the exact same issue. It really feels like they’re prioritizing certain customers instead of sticking to the order queue. That’s not professional — that’s favoritism.

Their communication was sloppy, their apology barely sincere, and the 10% discount offer felt more like an insult than a solution.

I’ve cancelled my order, placed a new one directly with Faction, and I’ve told everyone I skate with to avoid This Is Soul going forward.

Really disappointed. I expected better from a shop that claims to support the scene.

Een uur gereden voor een beginnersles, maar bij aankomst werd ik weggestuurd omdat het Vondelpark gesloten was en ik “te weinig basisvaardigheden” had — precies de reden waarom ik me had ingeschreven. Een echte catch-22.

Pas na wat discussie mocht ik een basiscursus binnen in de winkel volgen. Dit had meteen als oplossing aangeboden moeten worden, niet pas na een woordenwisseling.

Toen ik uiteindelijk skates wilde kopen, vroeg ik vriendelijk of het geen showmodel was. Eén medewerker gaf me een onbeschofte blik, totaal onnodig en onprofessioneel.

Ik heb de skates die ik wilde, maar het hele bezoek was vermoeiend en frustrerend. Skaten blijf ik leuk vinden, maar hier kom ik niet snel terug.

They sending wrong sizes and ignore you then. Really long shipping time. The Product had also some scratches and looked used. You have to pay the return shipping costs. So all in all a 0/10 expirience.. avoid this Shop at all costs

Wat lagers en spacers besteld. Ik denk niet dat ik 2 dagen heb moeten wachten alvorens m'n bestelling in de bus zat hier in België. Alles top dus!

Laatste tien orders... als het niet alle zijn, zijn allemaal niet goed gegaan. Denk hierbij aan NOOIT op tijd (soms weken gewacht). Ik heb al veel geld hier besteed! Zij hebben geen concurrentie. Verkeerde producten binnen krijgen met mooie smoezen, in kartonnen dozen. Dus niet eens officiële verpakkingen niets. Slecht contact altijd zelfde smoesjes/rede voor laat binnen krijgen (nog nooit normaal op tijd geweest, zelfs uit Polen is een order sneller binnen). Ze hebben mooie praatjes en daar trappen veel mensen in. Het is een afschuwelijke bedrijfsvoering en anti klant gericht, veel gelieg. Je hebt zomaar een andere zool, lager, whatever wat niet klopt aan jouw product. Het is dat zij de enige 100% zijn in Nederland anders hadden zij nooit bij kunnen benen met een bedrijf die wel dingen op orde heeft en afspraken en bezorgingen zorgvuldig afhandelen.

Een dikkr NEE koop aub ergens anders tenzij het echt niet kan kwa prijs of kezue.

En dat is de enige rede waarom zij draaien. Mooie praatjes vallen veel mensen snel voor.

Bought 4 items from them 9 days ago and still did not send the order. Tried to contact them and rarely I got response. After days they told me they were "experiencing some slight delay in sending out all
packages this week unfortunately" and my order was going to be sent the same day or the day after, the latest. Obviously this was not the case. I have been reading reviews on the web and since 2017 they always say this excuse. In the beginning the delivery to UK was 2-4 days with no taxes or custom. After my complains to them for my order they changed time and custom for orders to UK. Anyway very bad experience for me so I suggest people from UK to buy things from other shops.

On Thursday I come 40 minutes before the store is closed and get sent away because a video is being shot. On Friday I come 35 minutes before the store is closed and again get sent away because there are too many people inside (2 people). Then I get an advice to come at noon because obviously there is no other chance to actually not get sent away.

Not recommending.
