Exceptional service
Chris Spadger who works for Timpsons in High Wycombe store Morrisons (store 1813), is an exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable, highly experienced and professional in everything he does. He remembers his customer and their issues. He is very meticulous in his work. Even the breakdown services refer to him for advice.
He has been working there for 14 years and I highly recommend him for promotion. Don’t lose such a highly professional they are hard to find and gives Timpsons a respectable name.

I visited the Basingstoke store today…
I visited the Basingstoke store today and spoke with a super helpful friendly professional young man named Josh.
My problem was my copy Chub key, which was probably quite old, was no longer working as well as the master Chub key, he fixed this for me spending time and seeking advice and did it all goodwill , I have been using Timpsons for a long time and will continue to do so thank you Josh :)

Fantastic Service at Wetherby.
Shout out to Paul "Monkey" in the Wetherby Store.
I left my daughters pair of specialist orthotic shoes with him to send off to the central warehouse for repair. The zips around the shoes are curved around the toe area, and one of them had started to come away from the material. We weren't sure if they could be fixed.
Paul felt that, as the zip was curved, if he sent the shoes off to the central warehouse to be fixed that they would not be able to help, so he very kindly fixed by hand sewing. This will help us get much more use out of them before my daughter inevitably needs new orthotics moulded & will then need the next size of shoe.
To top it off, Paul was so generous & refused to take any payment for his work.
I would recommend this store every time!

Great Customer Service!
I went to my local Timpsons at Brookwood, Surrey to have my watch battery changed, To my surprise, Grant not only changed the battery, he went over and above in that he stripped and cleaned the inside of the watch as there was some moisture in it. As well as this he polished the glass and removed the scratches. That is what I call great customer service! One very happy customer!!

Great experience at East Prescot Road
I visited the store in East prescot road ( Sainsburys).
I was greeted warmly by Lee who understood that I needed, a new watch battery and discussed my options/add ons.
He quickly fitted the battery and I was on my way.
I found Lee was knowledgeable, professional and approachable and I will definitely go there again.
In the service industry you only get one chance to impress and Lee certainly hit the mark!

Watch returned damaged
My wife took my beloved, mint condition chronograph watch to their Meadowhead branch in Sheffield for the simple task of fitting a new battery. Upon returning the watch to me I noticed that the rear case back is now badly gouge and the actual case itself also has a deep gouge which is unrepairable. I cannot believe the level of incompetence from the idiot that undertook the repair.

Dean at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol was absolutely brilliant. He was so friendly and helpful. I initially spoke to Dean on the phone enquiring about the laser engraving and he was a huge help. Wildly overpriced battery replacement
This is feedback rather than a complaint. I went into my local Timpsons today to get a watch battery replaced. It's not an expensive watch or anything complicated. The lady was very polite and helpful but quoted nearly £20 for a lifetime battery! I was expecting to pay about £5. It would be cheaper for me to buy a new watch than pay that amount. I've just purchased 2 batteries on Ebay for £2.99 with delivery and will be replacing it myself. The staff member was very nice but that quote was ridiculous.

My favourite dress came back looking like new and the customer service is really excellent. This was at Tesco in Broadstairs. I'm taking all my dry cleaning there in future. Pretty good on car key batteries too!

Went to get 2 watch batteries changed and they quoted £24.95 per watch. Your having a laugh rip off merchants. Needless to say will never bother going to them for anything

My elderly mum needed battery for watch and we had to wait 15 mins so I left her on seat outside and popped to the other shops while she waited. He kindly brought watch out to her as I had left her with all our shopping bags. So appreciated

Great customer service recovery
I am writing this review based purely on my experience of Timpson's customer service following a problem that occurred while my shoes were being repaired.
Although my shoes were damaged during the repair and could not be restored, Katy from Timpson resolved the issue promptly in a professional, understanding, and empathetic manner. She arranged a full refund, enabling me to purchase a replacement pair.
While I was disappointed that my original shoes could not be saved, I was very pleased with the way my complaint was handled. Thank you, Katy, for your excellent customer service.

Ordered a dog disc as walking past the Taunton shop (North Street?). Man was very friendly and helpful. As we left our daughter told him our toddler had been admiring the spiderman key that was displayed outside the shop. He immediately ran back into the shop and gave him a blank Spidey key. Our 4 year old then also wanted one and he gave her a princess key. 2 very happy children. I would add we are foster carers and both said children have been adopted by us. This employee- sorry didn't notice his name - is the embodiment of Timpsons and their links with adopted & fostered children. We had to go back and buy 2 keyrings for the keys but what a star employee! Thank you.
PS the dog disc was great as well
