We recently worked with Amy Marvell on the purchase of a property using bridging finance after issues with a mortgage. The process had its fair share of hurdles, but Amy got everything moving quickly as soon as she could, if it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have completed.

Dealing with Alisha at the moment. Appalling. She seems to make life as difficult as possible. We was told it would take a week to get our power of attorney through. It is now two weeks and all that keeps happening is more and more obstacles put in front of us. At the end of my tether at the moment. A simple task made as difficult as possible.

What can I say!! Kimberly has smashed it out the park, worked around the clock and got us our dream house in the quickest turnaround time. She’s incredible, I highly recommend!!

I should have read reviews on here before.
People who rate them good aren't doing an injury claim. The surgeon told me they were handling 30+ similar cases ! DO NOT fall for their trick of getting you to use your Legal Costs cover. They work with the Defendants lawyer to divi up the bounty between them. They refuse point blank to justify their time charges. The Ombudsman took 8 years to give them a slap on the wrist. If you want to sleep at night then go elsewhere, or better, do it yourself - it's not hard.

A complete waste of money. They appeared far more interested in taking fees than in pursuing justice. I wish I had read the other reviews before engaging them. After just one video call, I was left feeling deflated, disappointed, and deeply let down. My advice: look elsewhere for a solicitor who genuinely cares about their client’s case.

Professional, personable and prompt. David Wootton and Elaine were helpful in every way and made time to see us if requested. They were overseeing our sale and our purchase and hit the deadlines as required. In addition their legal fees were less than most others were wanting to charge. We recommend them unreservedly

Layers , very bad experience stay away

An upsettingly awful experience from beginning to end from the Northampton branch. Dreadful communication, constantly chasing them for updates, scant knowledge of LPAs, highly questionable customer service, little compassion when referring to my mum who has advanced dementia as being deceased on emails. Avoid at all costs a firm that at times felt like they actively working AGAINST me. Made fallacious claims despite evidence to the contrary. Deeply regret instructing a firm that treated a client so shabbily.

Kimberly and April from the Stevenage Branch were fantastic in our recent house purchase. They managed to get us to completion within 5 weeks of offer being accepted which is no small feat. Always responsive and helpful - highly recommend!

After calling 3-4 other solicitor firms-none of them were able to help with what was the most heartbreaking time of our lives- I then called Tollers and spoke to Mr. Tristan Holdom - Mr. Holdom took his time to listen to our claim with so much empathy and understanding. He explained the process in detail and answered all of our questions- we had so many! My sons and I can’t thank him and his amazing team enough for everything they have done to get us justice.
We received regular updates on our claim and costs via email and post - any further questions we had throughout the process were answered promptly either by Mr.Holdom or Ms. Alison Brandham. The advice and guidance given was always in our best interest.

Thanks you Kirsten Blaikie​​​​ and her team for handling my case. Half way through my purchase the solicitors I was using ceased business, and Tollers took over their clients, so I appreciate this was a particularly stressful time, as well as not being great for me when I heard this was happening.

Despite this Kirsten and and her team, were professional throughout and I always managed to speak to her or someone else in her team with little problem. My sale purchase property was unregistered but despite my concerns about some aspects of this purchase, I felt in capable hands all the way.

I have completed 5 house sales over the past 23 years and have used independent local firms in the past but more recently I've used online services. I think consumers assume because of the competitive prices - often much lower than an individual in person service - that online firms do not provide as good a service but I can honestly say that I have found that not to be the case. With online services you do not have a problem being able to speak to someone or find out how your case is progressing. You are allocated a team of 4 - 5 rather than one solicitor, and you are told right from the beginning the names of the people in the team and how to get hold of them directly. I have had poor experience when dealing with one solicitor in a small firm, they are often not available or do not get back to you and seem to be not as thorough or as quick doing the job.

I have waited 5 months still no luck I have got cash buyer as well I think this is very bad service.

I used the services of one of the Toller's partners for a restrictive covenant issue in London that threatened to derail our development project. Having dealt with many legal professionals and also managed solicitors in commercial property for many years in a previous role, it was refreshing to deal with a legal professional who was so pragmatic, responsive and knowledgeable in their field of expertise. Working with Heather allowed us to arrive at a solution that ensured the project went forward. Huge thanks.

The sale of my late mother's house was so straightforward with the help of Louise and her team at Tollers Solicitors in Corby. They also have offices at Kempston in Bedford and Northampton which was useful when delivering some of the documentation.

This was a difficult sale for us as I had relocated my Aunt to Glasgow from Cottesmore and everything had to be done remotely, rather than us being on hand. I cannot convey how happy I was with Tollers handling of the sale. English law being somewhat different from Scots, I probably asked more of Tollers than most, but as they say " the proof is in the pudding ". Sale price realised and a very happy Aunt able to fund her twighlight years very nicely. Another point I found to Tollers credit was that when one team member wasn't in the office, another was clued up enough to slot into place and answer any queries we had. Trust me that was not the case with many other organisations we have had to deal with, and it made such a difference. We'll done Tollers, and thanks.
