Avoid - poor communication - please see distressing reviews
I have sent a lot of designer clothing to Twicely and whilst they receive your stock they are very communicative. I put my trust in them. However when it comes to receiving remuneration for items sold they do not reply to emails, it is extremely frustrating. All this company has done is cost me money paying for the return of the rejected items. I was informed I had a pay out in August but am still waiting for it ! I have sent many emails requesting an update and stating that I opted for return of my unsold items. It really grates me that my items are for
sale on their site on EBay and they do not have the courtesy to reply. I have even messaged them on EBay in desperation to get a response. I find the blog and reviews alarming. I notice many other people are in the same predicament and the recent posts about Twiceley being broken into are even more distressing. I have tried calling their phone number :- 01706 557 360 and it just was ringing out, not even an answer machine. Let’s see if this review provoked a response as polite emails do not work with Twiceley.
This seems to be a scam
This seems to be a scam. They rejected all the clothes I sent - some brand new with tags saying they were worn. Now I have asked they be send back my clothes (willing to pay the fee) and they have completely ignored my correspondence. They've just robbed me of several quality items of clothing, some with sentimental value. Why would you do this to people twicely? Make an honest living.

I have emailed this company repeatedly since August about items I have on sale with them and have received no replies. Many of the items they have of mine are designer including Vivien Westwood and Mulberry. I have requested that my items are returned and they have not responded. I have not received payments due to me either.
I will be reporting the company to the consumer ombudsman and the police for fraud.

Sent some clothes that they didn’t want. That’s fine, but paid the fee to have them returned on the day they sent me the reminder email and never got the clothes back. Have emailed 3 times and can’t find a phone number. No reply. This in stark contrast the speed at which they replied to my emails when I was asking for a bag to send my clothes in. So basically they’ve had my clothes and my £9.95 return fee and I’ve had nothing.

I have sent several bags of goods for sale to twicely . Every month I receive a statement of goods sold and money owed to me . Every month I have to “ beg” to be paid the money I’m owed ! I have received the excuse of no payment details on system for the last 3 months , details are given , payment is made ..... then ...... the following month ... surprise ..... no payment details on system ! Sales payment from August consignment is still outstanding despite 5 email , non of which have received a reply . Twicely still have a number of my goods on their site , iam not confident that anything will change regarding their service moving forward ...... in one word DISGRACEFUL

Got money for the items that sold. Some were sold on sale so I got roughly half the amount I was promised. Had to chase up payment after the first month. Got a bit annoying!
Paid a nominal amount to get 3 items back. Only two arrived. Have emailed Adam a few times to find out what happened to the third item but heard nothing back.
Someone on Facebook said they had a break-in. Stuff stolen. No idea if that’s true but if so, let your customers know please!

I used Twicely several times successfully in the past and whilst the payouts weren’t massive it saved me selling myself on eBay. However, this time they have not sent me my monies owing or responded to any communication requesting payment and the remainder of my clothes back. It’s basically theft. I will be taking this further and can only assume the company is in trouble. However, even if this is the case there is no excuse for the total lack of communication. The fact they are still accepting clothing and yet seem unable to make payments as promised is just dishonest. Avoid at all costs.
FRAUD - avoid
They are fraudulent. In spite of chasing three times they have yet to send me the money for my items sold in June nor have they returned the items they have, including a Reiss leather bomber jacket. Not happy. I've escalated my complaint to the ombudsmen
Don’t ever think you’ll get your items back
I sent in a brand new Alexander McQueen jumpsuit with tags and had plenty of communication accepting my items. Once I asked for them back I heard nothing. I’ve called, emailed numerous times, posted on social, messenger, Twitter, added the owner on LinkedIn...and nothing. So basically they steel your clothes. Never had such appalling service in my life and now pursuing a legal route to get my items back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

So Twicely decided, that rather than paying me my pitiful £10.48, they would report me to Trustpilot instead! My review was taken down whilst I was ‘investigated’....I sent all correspondence sent & received and Trustpilot
reviewed this & decided to uphold my review so it’s now back online 😊 Twicely....just pay up fgs!!

I finally received a reply on October 11th saying that all my emails had been located in their spam folder; I was told (as expected) that I hadn’t responded to their email requesting payment information....I DID NOT receive this email and would be interested to see if they ever sent one. I replied immediately with my bank details and I await my very small sum of money with anticipation. I find the response below quite rude to be honest. I bet the person who purchased my item paid at the time whereas I have had to wait for 16 working days (and counting!) still not impressed....
I received an email on Sept 20th to tell me an item had been sold & that I would receive my money ‘in a few days’. It is now Oct 3rd & nothing has been paid into my account. Although the amount is relatively small (£10.48), they shouldn’t inform sellers that they are due a credit if they don’t intend to pay it! They will probably reply with ‘we don’t have your bank details on record’ but they did not request any further info in their email of Sept 20th. Not very impressed & will not be using again 😕😠

Poor - be aware of their "requirements"
Pretty poor. Rejected all my sent items because they had a "storage smell". Sure. Will not be using again and do not recommend.

Avoid - no payouts and no communication!
Still no sign of payment despite repeated requests - utterly unacceptable. emails and calls just ignored. Great concept but am starting to think it is a scam.

I didn't have time to post my stuff on Ebay so I found Twicely. Really easy to use, really quick and a great way to clear out and make sure there's someone appreciating your old clothes!

Amazing! So much easier than selling your clothes on sites like Ebay and Depop as it is a much quicker and simpler process. You are paid for sending your clothes very quickly and their customer service team is fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely awful!! Their customer service is nonexistent, I have been chasing my payouts for months and still no luck!! Also it's absolutely ridiculous how much money they take off you and after gettimg email my brand new Armani dress is unsuitable for their fancy shop and been donated to god knows to whom ,I had enough! I took my business to eBay and I couldn't be happier!! I do not recommend this site to anyone!!

Such a waste of time
Such a waste of time! I provided a full bag of women’s clothes and a brand new Longchamp bag. I understood, (albeit was disappointed,) with the prices they offered me, but was hopeful about the upcoming experience.
Almost two months later and I have gotten two sales reports, one showing me that one item has sold - but there’s absolutely no mention of getting my payment details to reimburse me. Also it seems that brand new Longchamp bag I sent them has conveniently fallen off the inventory list. I did message them asking about this, giving my payment details and a nudge for payment. No response.
UPDATE: After having my items listed for 2-ish months, almost half have sold and I was paid for them today. Response rates have improved and the service has been better. I'm changing my review to 3 stars for the improvement in service. However, I wouldn't use this service to sell clothes again as it was a major hassle, slow and I do feel I could have gotten more money had I sold certain items myself elsewhere.

Reduce, reuse, recycle, re-style!
As a buyer I'm absolutely delighted with Twicely. I've used other resell sites previously but haven't come across this level of quality and customer service before. I'm on my third parcel in as many weeks, shopping for an upcoming trip. I've been really pleased with the items that I've retained and they have quickly earned a loyal customer. A few of the pieces that I purchased will be wardrobe staples until they fall off my back - at great prices.
Admittedly I was disappointed with the first item that I ordered, but their refund policy convinced me to give them another go and I'm very glad that I did. I've scooped some lovely pieces - some new with tags at a fraction of the tag price. The reassurance of the refund policy means I'm happy to take a risk. The high bar they set for the condition of garments sets them apart from other pre-loved sites. Their brand policy means you are not wading through pages of rubbish looking for hidden gems.
I've had a bit of a paradigm shift in my approach to buying clothing lately and find the fashion churn and wastefulness of the industry concerning. Twicely helps me think about style rather than fashion. I feel good doing my bit for the environment and my own pocket. I'm enjoying exploring new looks and they will be my go-to store for wardrobe refreshes in future.
Avoid this company
- Don’t reply to numerous emails
- Can’t get hold of them on the phone
- Have sold my items for a different amount to the price originally agreed
- Items which were new with tags on were deemed not good enough
- Have only had one payout when more items have sold
