Placed an order which was apparently out of stock at the supplier. Customer service team has stopped replying to emails and said they cannot refund me as they are having financial difficulty yet are still trading online. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY.

This company is financially bankrupt

This company is financially bankrupt, do not order anything. I ordered bathroom accessories , IN STOCK items and after 7 weeks, they reluctantly informed me that they have cancelled the order and are unable to refund the money due financial difficulties and I should contact credit card , citizens advice and consumer rights. Very helpful.

No delivery - no communication

Item ordered showing in stock.. no delivery after 2 weeks and impossible to contact anyone to get an order status. Phone line message states they are “unmanned”. Several tickets raised to try & get any kind of response- now having to raise as a dispute with my bank. Go anywhere else.

I would highly recommend you avoid this…

I would highly recommend you avoid this company, they advertise products that have a 2 to 3 week lead time but then after a month when you enquire about the delivery you get told the supplier is having problems and it should be resolved in a week, unfortunately it isn’t and when you ask to cancel they suddenly stop all communication and you will have
To fight to get your money back. Total scammers.

Please don't buy from this company, they are in trouble!

I purchased a bath on 20 Aug for £1211 and have just received an email dated 22 Sep saying that they are experiencing financial difficulties and beginning the process of entering a CVA. I apparently am no longer getting the bath or a refund and need to try and reclaim my money back through my credit/debit card company. They are still trading and still selling my bath so don't understand why I appear to be a 'sacrificial lamb'. Please don't buy from this company, they are in trouble!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! Like so many other reviewers, I placed an order (over 6 weeks ago) but have not received the goods. Despite several emails I still have no confirmation of a delivery date. Their email responses are full of meaningless platitudes and they seem to have absolved themselves of all responsibility by blaming their suppliers for the delays. No manned telephone lines and the online chat is no longer operational. I have requested a refund but so far no response. A truly awful experience. Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid - scam company

Ordered a Vitra tap back in July with a 2-3 day lead time and heard nothing from them. Continually been chasing now 2 months later and been fobbed off/led up the garden path at every turn! Scam sham of an outfit who are now ghosting me with no sign of a refund. I will be taking it up with my credit card provider. Avoid avoid avoid! Lesson learnt, never buy from a company you can’t contact over the phone.

Avoid. Shocking company with terrible customer service now going bust. Placed my order in early August as the items were listed as in stock. They only responded when pushed and kept informing me my order would be fulfilled knowing full well they were going out of business and had no intention of supplying my order. Do not deal with this company or its associated and parent company.

Avoid !!
I ordered a sink on 4th September & delivery time was 3-10 days. After 16 days I emailed the company to ask for a delivery update. NB there is no customer service telephone number which should have made me wary. On 22nd Sept I received a generic reply advising that my order could not be fulfilled and the company can not refund me either!! They advised me to claim back though my credit card company as they are preparing a proposal to enter a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA). Disgraceful way to do business.

Avoid. Refusing to fulfill orders as of mid september 2023. Have a statement on their website full of word soup, but it seems they are going into administration, although the site remains open. No communication until we chased them about an outstanding order.

Shameless beyond belief - watch out post CVA

This looks like a really bad example of a company undoubtedly knowing it was in trouble for many weeks/months, continuing to take orders (and actively promoting itself on Google until the end - eg August Bank Holiday sale - when I foolishly ordered) - and shamelessly focussing on itself rather than the customers is has left high and dry - and it would appear by choosing who to supply in the end (see below and today's customer email in other reviews).

They plan to be back by mid-October ..... but don't appear to be that bothered if they can't fulfill your recent (up to several months, it would seem) order ... as we reflect upon our journey and take our bold steps ......

Utterly shameless - ask yourself if you should trust them with your future business, in whatever guise they attempt to come back in. Hopefully someone will validate that the Directors have behaved appropriately in the last few months.

My "inconvenience" is £700, from an order placed 3 weeks ago, with communication within the last 7 days indicating delivery this week, until it went quiet 4 days ago. Others are in for £2500 or more going back 100 days (see reviews).

The guidance from UK Bathrooms - get your credit card company to refund you, because we won't.... but see you mid-October...

Warning company is a scam / in…

Warning company is a scam / in liquidation

Like many others I have been waiting on orders (received emails saying they would be on their way this week and next) then received a generic email containing this:

"Regrettably, these combined challenges mean that we're unable to fulfil certain orders, including yours."

"To address our current challenges, we've sought professional guidance and are in the process of preparing proposals for a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA)."

"Due to our present financial position, UK Bathrooms cannot directly issue refunds."

They have posted elsewhere another statement about how they are relaunching! And they have published a statement saying "Additionally, certain existing orders may not be fulfilled. A comprehensive communication detailing the process surrounding these orders will follow shortly,"

In reality the 'process' is they are keeping the money and not fulfilling the orders!

Absolute scammers and as others have pointed out will probably relaunch under a new name

SCAM

SCAM. This company is either a total scam or going through liquidation. Ordered a shower only to have to chase after 2 weeks at which point I was told it was never in stock. Okay, no problem, was told a refund would be issued. Then received an email saying that they are no longer issuing a refund and I should contact my bank instead of them.

Cheats.

I'm told that they cannot fulfil my order and they won't refund me due to company financial issues, yet they haven't gone bust. Con merchants!

So back trading again, but no offer of fulfilling the order or a refund. Yet they hope to rebuild trust and that we'll return as future customers. What a joke. As originally stated, absolute cheats who shouldn't be trading!

Under Voluntary administration

After a month since a £1300 order I made, about £1200 worth not delivered and they’ve just emailed to say they’re under voluntary administration and can’t fulfil the order. Fortunately as advised by them, which I knew, I can get a refund from my credit card company. Glad I didn’t use my debit card. Should have used Trust pilot before purchasing. Hope their current position will be recognised by Trust pilot. Only a few weeks ago, I received an apology and an assurance that my goods were being processed and would be with them by the end of last week.

Their website currently says that they're going to relaunch better but in the meantime have sent an email out to existing customers to advise that they are preparing for a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) and as such cannot issue refunds nor fulfil existing orders!

This basically means they're keeping my money and can then re-open under a different name, not the way to do business

I placed a number of orders with UK Bathrooms and have had to fight to receive the goods - even then they are incorrect and not as being sold. I ordered a Hansgrohe part number 72406000, they sent me a 72405000 which was a cheaper part and denied that it was advertised wrong

I was told lie after lie regarding the lateness of my goods and that was on more than one order, what should have taken 3 days for the items to arrive actually took two months!
Avoid at all costs!!!

This outfit has announced today they've gone into a CVA (which is the last step before going bust).
The 'positive' reviews have obviously been a sham to keep milking people's cash - I just hope, like me, you paid them on a credit card.
