Shambolic
Cowboy fitters who never turned up on time and couldn't care less about the job.
And the after service ( guaranteed work ) was also abysmal. Faulty window catch ..... not hard is it? After 3 van broke down excuses, I paid another firm, who changed catch in 10 minutes. On time and with a smile.
Don't go near this company .

Ultra seal Bromborough

Ultra seal Bromborough. Replaced conservatory, windows and roof. Could not recommend ultra seal more. Fantastic job, quick, efficient and very professional. Very reasonable too.

Ultrashield replaced 11 windows/doors

Ultrashield replaced 11 windows/doors in our home (in Heswall).
They gave the best quote, no haggling with "special deals" that 3 other companies tried. On the initial visit, they were the most informative and showed the most expertise. It took 5 days, 3 upstairs windows completed first day, minimal disruption to our day to day routine (we could sleep in our bedroom same night, just a quick Hoover of some dust. Didn't even need to take the curtains down).
The two guys worked solidly everyday, they were polite, considerate, tidy and kept us informed what was going on.
I would use them again without hesitation and recommend to anyone.

Ultraseal Wirral

Ultraseal Wirral, for replacement windows. Terrible service, but very polite when giving you the run around. No e2e ownership, no communication, resulting in constantly chasing. Installation wasn't completed and candy get them back to correct 25% of the windows and doors. I'm now trying to get me money back. Avoid them, if you want a good job

Disaster from start to unfinished!!!

We had a quote in May for our three bed semi and given a date of 16 August. The week before the due date I attempted to contact Martin our sales rep and had no response back despite more attempts to contact them to check all was on track for the date and to pay my next instalment. The day before I was concerned and left yet another message at their office for Martin to contact me and then received a voicemail saying they were not coming the following day . I had removed curtains and moved furniture at this point.
They then rescheduled and then cancelled again.
Third time lucky they confirmed a date for a three day job. Day one they came for half a day. The work was not the best and they needed to replace some framing as the workmanship was shoddy and clearly rushed. They had cracked beading also along my kitchen tiles which I have to repair! They cracked the bathroom window as fitting it. They returned for a second day and “completed the job” with the bathroom window still broken and a bedroom window cracking overnight… well that is they continued to rush it.
8 out of 11 window units were scratched. There were scratches on frames and glass, they had removed the corner of the porch roof to fit fascia’s and slapped cerement on that looked like a child had done it (despite my husband seeing this part of the roof being taken off and put on the floor, then put back on the roof .. they lied me said they hadn’t touched it! ) One patio door unit was also scratched and the door handle had been chipped on the patio door also. They had knocked a chip in my ceiling on the way up the stairs. The back door locked for one day, then would only lock when open!
Luckily they have a man named Paul who can actually fit windows properly and returned to repair SOME of the mess….However two of the replacement window units have had finger marks on the inside and scratches on them. The wrong unit was ordered for another replacement window so our saga continues and we are waiting two windows to be replaced still and they have had the cheek to ask for the final payment!
There appears to be no manager to complain to and when asking the receptionist I was taken aback when told “ I only answer the phones. I don’t know who you would complain to” . Over three months since we thought our windows would be fitted we are waiting for an end to this stress . I would not recommend this company to anyone . We have been so disappointed after saving for years to have our windows replaced and the excitement of finally being able to afford them has been overcast by poor communication from sales reps not wanting to have difficult conversations , poor quality control in the making of the windows and two men who came and attempted to rush a three day in a day and half .
They will not get a final payment until the work is completed as agreed in the contract and I would love to know if a manager actually does exist.

The guys from ultraseal Alan and…

The guys from ultraseal Alan and Darren? Great couple of hardworking lads who went above and beyond, they also was not aware that we had just had a conversion and 2 of the windows and a door was boarded up on there arrival and we were literally open to the elements of the cold weather that hit us the same week they were due, the lads done such a great job in getting the main parts of the house fitted with the windows and door first to bring back some warmth into our home, we were impressed by their empathy to get the job done for us, we would like to thank you both and all at ultraseal from Tom who first came out to give us a very competitive quote right through to Alan and Darren who fitted our windows and French doors. Well done to you all and very highly recommended by us.

From Pete Mcgreevy. Regarding a replacement Window
I had a salesman round on 30 th September 2020 to offer a quote, to which I accepted, and I signed a
contract confirming the job and how much I would be charged. Within a few days a surveyor came
round and measured up the job in more detail.
Around late October I received a call saying the job would cost £200.00 more as they had forgot to
allow for scaffolding. As I had signed a contract, I didn’t see how that was my problem. However,
following a further call from Ultraseal, I agreed to pay an extra £100.00.
Also around that time, I was contacted by Ultraseal to say, due to a backlog of jobs, my window
could not be replaced until late November or early December. When early December arrived, I
received another call from Ultraseal saying that they had no uPVC material available in the colour I
had requested, and subsequently, my job was going to be delayed until January, but I was told that I
would receive another call before the company closed for Christmas, around the 20 th December. I
never received the call. Christmas came and went, and so did the whole of January, with no calls
from Ultra-seal. Finally, I contacted Ultraseal in early February and got the impression from the
gentleman I spoke to, that my job had been completely forgotten about as I had to recite all my
details to him again. He did chase up my enquiry and I got a call back from a girl at the office saying
the job would take place week commencing 22 nd March 2021.
My window was subsequently replaced on Friday 26 th March. On the day, I left the workmen to get
on with the job whilst I went off to work. I left my contact number for them to ring me, but I never
heard from them during the day. I returned to the flat at 4pm to find the window had been
completed and the men had left. However, they had left a note saying not to use the windows as
there are parts missing. The note said someone would be in touch the following week.
That was 26 th March. As of 16th April no one had been in touch, despite me contacting them
numerous times. Therefore, I had waited 6 months for 1 window to be replaced, and it was still not
finished and I was unable to open it.
I complained to Ultraseal via their web site on 16 th April. Finally, someone got back in touch and a
few days later, two guys finally came to my flat and fitted the extra parts to my window.
However last week, w/c 3 rd May 2021, the same window in the flat above mine was also being
replaced. The company which was fitting their window made a comment to me that my window was
missing a lower replacement uPVC panel. When I checked underneath the window, I still had my old
rotting wood sill! Unlike the new window directly above which had been fully fitted in brand new
uPVC. Unfortunately, I hadn’t properly checked the outside of my window when it was installed. So
once again I contacted Ultraseal on Monday 10 th May, I was told someone would call me back. I rang
again the next day to be told the same thing. No one has got back to me!
Therefore, I have had no choice but to write this review. This is a true account of the experience I
have had with this company. All calls and correspondences have been noted throughout and my
account is accurate. It takes a lot for me to complain, However, I felt I needed to share my
experience with this company, so as to make people aware.

New front door & side panels

New front door & side panels. 100% happy with my new door etc, looks great & very neat finishing touches, ie silicon sealing all round. Very professional job by decent honest fellas, nothing left behind, cleared up really good. Totally recommend Ultraseal, they were the cheapest quote but totally delivered.

Replacement conservatory roof and frames

Needed a new conservatory front and roof on our lean to conservatory and Ultra Seal gave me a great quote. Job was done on 8/9th Oct 2020 by two excellent fitters. They not only removed the old frames and roof causing no damage at all to the surrounding inner walls, and the new installation was brilliant. The finished article is a first class conservatory and all credit to the fitters who made a very professional job of it. Have used Ultra Seal before to fit all new front windows and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I employed this company to fit 3 double glazed units, "like for like "
the fitters sent were nothing short of "cowboys" the mess they made at my property and the subsequent further damage to my property when they tried to remedy the initial mistakes was horrendous, I do not recommend them and would suggest customers for UPVC go elsewhere.
The stress they have created for me is immeasurable.
