AVOID THIS COMPANY. Ignore positive reviews. Easily the worst online order experience I've ever had. I'm not saying this lightly. They constantly violate the Fair Trading Act.

Initial order they could only provide half of the 7 items - all of which were listed as 'in stock'. Despite this they took my money for all items. Of the 3 pairs of footwear ordered only 2 arrived after about 6months. 1 pair faulty within a few months so they sent another. Almost 2 years later after countless emails requesting updates they haven't communicated when the remaining items - 2 books & 1 pair of boots - will be sent. My initial order date was April 2022 - as of this review it is Feb 2024. Excuse after vague excuse with no follow-up. Company needs to be blacklisted. Thieving scumbags of the highest order!!!

These boots took nearly a year to arrive. For four months they told me they will ship out “this week”. But no one provide a tracking number. Eventually they arrived. I love the boots. However only part of the boot appears to be genuine leather. The part around your leg And the tongue appear to be some other faux leather material. Disappointing for the price paid.

Ordered my 2 x sets of boots in feb 2023. Now its February 2024 and...
In november I finaly received the shoes after countless correspondence with the company ( impossible to get any updates until you chase at least 10 times). Shoes arrived but were wrong size.

Sent back right away and informed them prior to obtain return label.

Its 1 year now since purchase I never received refund or correct size shoes. They refuse to process the refund stating for 3 months that they " checking with the finance team".
Dont order. Get Dr Martens instead.

I've had several pairs of shoes and boots from Underground during the years and once again there was a need for a new pair - first time using their web shop. Unfortunately they didnt have my size on the stock, so had to do a back-order. Overall it took a bit over a month for the shoes to arrive to my door, so not that bad considering it was a back-order. I'd give 4.5 stars but as there is not option for that, it'll be 4 solid stars - the reduction only because of the bit slower delivery in these modern hasty times we live in.

And the shoes are awesome as always, really worth the money!

As far as Creepers are concerned, nobody does them better than Uderground. I bought my first pair 10+ years ago (and still using it today). 5 pairs later, I still come back choosing from the variety of colours and materials.
I had to wait a while for my last two purchases, however following my inquiry, I have always received timely and reasonable response.

Consistently helpful customer care - great to be able to chat to someone when initially deciding on options & all went exactly as advised. A fabulous product & company. The shoes were worth the wait & although there was no guarantee, as they were a bespoke order, they did arrive in time for Christmas. My daughter is thrilled - thank you, I would highly recommend.

Very well made shoes, I have loved the creepers for years - I used to wear the black single soles for school!
I ordered a couple of pairs (one custom made, different colour) so that I can spread the wear!

My 2nd order, was hoping that it will arrive sooner but it was a back order. Nonetheless, it was worth the wait. I finally received my shoes close to 8 weeks later and really love the King Tut and Marlon.

I asked for an advice on the size and the size Underground told me fits perfectly.
The delivery was fast and simple and the product il great and feels definitely of quality

Underground is honestly one of my favorite brands. I recently shopped their outlet sale, and when one of the items I purchase was out of stock, Sonia emailed me with personal recommendations for an alternative. Absolutely the best!

Have ordered from Underground 2/3 times before but will never again. Ordered shoes and received no communication from them for a week, despite paying over £5 for shipping which said dispatch 1-2 working days.

Finally contacted them to find out that the shoes were coming from a separate distribution centre in Portugal, with Brexit cited as the reason for the second centre. Other products on the website stated it there was a wait time and the product I ordered had no info of this kind. To apologise for this inconvenience they said they’d refund just the shipping.

This is information that should've been communicated when the order first went through. I decided to wait and received no further info passed the date that the shoes were expected in the UK. So I had to reach out again to find out they would be yet another week.

I requested a refund. They ignored this email and only responded when the shoes had been received, offering me a non-disclosed discount as an apology. I pursued my refund, the confirmed but I had very little information after, just told 'accounts' would be in touch. I was thankful at this point I'd purchased on ClearPay and was able to contact them for help. Underground had said Clear Pay would inform me of the refund, Clear Pay said it was up to Underground.

The lack of communication was genuinely shocking for a near £200 pair of shoes. As mentioned I've been a repeat customer for years and this experience will mean I'll never purchase again. It was nearly 6 weeks from date of purchase to actually receiving my refund. Accounts never did get in touch, and I had to chase the information on multiple occasions.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Waiting now 12 months for a custom order to be completed. Bought as a 2022 Christmas gift for my wife and we have not received the shoes. This company will lie to you over and over again about the item being completed and ready to ship out. Avoid this company at all costs. We have demanded a refund multiple times and they just ignore the request. We are out hundreds of dollars. Terrible company

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the outstanding customer service Underground England displayed when helping me with my order. The shoes arrived in time for Xmas and my daughter loved them. The customer service team kept me informed all the way through the process. They definitely went above and beyond - not mentioning names in a public area but you know who you are ☺️Absolutely brilliant ! Thanks a million

I love their designs and own three pairs. My latest pair came right before Christmas. The quality on my double sole creepers are amazing. Orders may take a bit of time especially if it's a custom design. Just have some patience and it will be worth it in the end.

Good communication, quick delivery, iconic shoes.

I ordered a custom pair of shoes in April 2023, and as of December 7th, I have not yet received them. I have been emailing customer service since August. They have promised many new deadlines and none were met. I have heard many different excuses as to why the 12 to 14-week wait (as indicated on the website) has been exceeded, and it does not add up. Their entire customer support team, aka Rinna (one person), responds as she pleases and at her convenience, ignoring questions she cannot answer. She has promised and failed to put me in touch with both a 'line manager' and 'accounting team'. I was promised I would be refunded, take a wild guess whether this happened. Moreover, she keeps throwing around the fact that they offered me a 'generous voucher' but why would I place another order and trust them to deliver? Many others (look at Google reviews for example) have accepted the voucher and received nothing or ill-fitted shoes, for which they did not get a refund once sent back. So, in every sense of the word, this is a SCAM and you will NOT get your product.

Even when one of my orders for custom boots was delayed for many months because of the company relocating factories their customer service has been great in letting me know what was going on even checking in after i received the boots. I love this brand and the quality of their boots I now own 3 pairs all of which fit and look amazing and plan getting more.

Great shopping experience all around. Easy payment and quick delivery. Boots feel solid, more comfortable than i remember and the stitching is on point. I haven't had these for very long but i have no reason not to expect these to last every bit as long as the previous pair. I'm so happy i found Underground again.

Bought a book at a reasonable price that I could not find anywhere else. It was delivered promptly and well packaged - in pristine condition.
