Smooth experience
Very pleasant experience. I love subscription services because I don’t have to place new orders each time. Everything here works transparently... dates, prices, and the cancel option are all easy to find. The box arrived on time with interesting contents. Support doesn’t ignore you and they actually try to help. This service left a very positive impression.

I ordered a box as a gift for my brother) he was absolutely thrilled! He said these were some of the most interesting snacks he’s ever had. I also want to point out that everything was clearly explained on the website: that it’s a subscription, when payments would be made, and that it can be canceled at any time. No hidden conditions. Customer service helped me confirm the shipping address, and they were polite and quick to respond. Very satisfied with the service!
Clear cancellation
I think most of the negative comments come from people not reading carefully. All the subscription terms are stated clearly — the cost, delivery timing, and auto-renewal. I canceled my subscription after two months since I was only ordering the boxes as gifts. One email was all it took, and they confirmed my cancellation right away. No issues at all. They even thanked me for using the service. Very professional, no pressure.
Unappealing on every level
This was a gift intended to be a healthy snack box. Too much sugar, too many mystery ingredients, too much processing, too little worth eating. Buy fresh fruit or vegetables instead . . . or frankly bags of real nuts, real chocolate bars, real dried fruit. Does anyone really want Banana Bread 'flavored' cashews?
The idea was great
The idea was great. Took money quickly never received box. Company tried to blame ups. Refused to reimburse. Asked me to do the work to find out why the box didn’t get delivered.
I loved their options
I loved their options, as we sent a gift box to a gluten-free person, and their customer service was very helpful and kind.
I just wanted 1 box
My wife was recently diagnosed with celiac and I wanted to get her 1 box as a gift that’s what I thought I was doing. The next month I was billed for another box I called and the woman on the phone was rude and treated me very unprofessional I will not use this service again. I would like urthbox to be more clear for the people that do not want a subscription
Five Star Service
I'm new to Urthbox and absolutely love their product offerings that meet my gluten free dietary needs. I also had a wonderful experience with customer support to modify a future shipment address. Shout out to Valleri for her responsiveness and friendly communications!
Terrible
Terrible! They told me if I paid the expedited shipping they would have it there in 4 days but the email they sent me said it would go out in 11 days!! Not acceptable! They wouldn’t let me cancel the order because they said they couldn’t get ahold of the warehouse… really????!!! Terrible service!
Excellent customer service, yummy treats
Valleri was quick to respond and accommodated my request to change my urthbox from vegan to protein plus. I must say I was very impressed by the assortment of goodies in my vegan box. Nice variety and so far all the snacks have been yummy. It’s kind of like Christmas every month!

Great customer service! I ordered the vegan box for 3 months to try it! I asked if I could change to classic for my next two boxes, no problem they said!

Placed order December 17th 2024
Placed order December 17th 2024. Today is Jan 14th 2025 and still no box. I canceled the subscription Jan 1st and they emailed me saying I can’t have a refund and can only cancel 24 hours after purchase.. ok so you took my $40 and I have no box. SCAM STAY AWAY
Super sketchy
I ordered weeks before Xmas and a week after new years the product still hasn’t shown up. They shipped through some garbage 3rd party company that takes weeks to ship compared to usps, what would take a couple of days. I also only ordered one box and when I logged in to check my shipping I was signed up for a monthly account, not what I ordered.
Box ordered 12/1/24 never arrived, even after expediting shipping
I placed an order for a box on 12/1/24. As of 12/17, there was still no shipping/tracking updates, so I reached out and they told me I could pay for expedited shipping ($10.95 and it'd arrive on the 20th). I said yes, definitely - took them 2 days to send the invoice for the expedited shipping, and it went up to $14.95. Okay, whatever. Needed the box there before Christmas, which they said it would be.
Not only did the box never arrive (even as of today, 1/2/25) but MULTIPLE inquiries to support have gone unanswered. I had to file a dispute with my bank.
Do not order from this company
Do not order from this company. They sneak in auto renew language when you think it’s a one time purchase and say too bad if you try to cancel immediately. Very deceptive and dishonest company.
DO NOT ORDER
I placed an order and immediately canceled it because it would arrive when my son is out of town. They still charged me and sent the order and basically replied, "too bad".
