I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I opened the cake box. The cake looked stunning. Everyone at the bridal shower thought it looked amazing and the taste was utterly to die for. Fabulous service and fabulous cake!

We could not be happier with our unique wedding cake! The knowledge and service we received from Carla was second to none! Aside from our tasting and consult we were able to be totally hands off and at ease that you were in control. We didn't need to worry about a thing and that is priceless when planning a wedding! Not only was this cake DELICIOUS, but I mean look at it, Carla really bought our vision to life! She was an absolute pleasure to deal with and we could not recommend Vanilla Pod enough! 100/10! Thank you for helping to make our day special 💖

From start to finish, the girls were really understanding and good with communicating with us. We aren’t local so they sent the most beautiful cake tasting kit by post, which was great as meant we were able to have the experience at home with our cups of tea. During the design, they asked so many questions and that made there first design proposal exactly what I had wanted. They delivered the cake and put it all together beautifully on the cake table and after our big day even sent us a congratulations card.
The care and attention is astounding from the girls and every detail is well thought.

Vanilla Pod Bakery provided the cupcakes and the beautiful wedding cake for our daughter’s wedding two years ago, reason why i came back to them for my wedding anniversary! Their cupcakes are not only beautiful and delicate but very delicious. I highly recommend them.

They were so helpful right from the beginning. They responded to my emails immediately every time (even on a weekend). I kept changing my mind about what I wanted and they were so patient, helpful and reassuring. The cakes were absolutely stunning and staff at the restaurant (which the bakery delivered the cake to for us) were all taking photos of it and asking us where we got it from. Can't recommend highly enough.

We both particularly loved the fruit cake tier which we’ve never tasted the like of before ! The fruitiness, lightness and moistness of it was utterly stunning!

We chose the Battle of the Cupcake Experience as a team activity for our work Christmas party. Everyone enjoyed participating in something slightly different and had a great time. Pia and Nina were lovely hosts, adding to the overall positive experience. Not to mention, the cupcakes were delicious. I would wholeheartedly recommend the experience to anyone seeking a competitive, creative, and fun group activity!

We had such a delightful experience with this company. Excellent cake designers, they spent time communicating with us to understand our vision for what we wanted our cake to look like.
The level of care was amazing from the first consultation to cake design to cake tasting etc- Excellent communication throughout to ensure that all was perfect for us. We had expert advice and guidance; we had exactly what we wanted.
Our cake tasted divine! So much so our guests asked for more! definitely quality ingredients used.

Excellent local company that we would highly recommend. The birthday cake we ordered looked amazing and tasted even better. There wasn't a crumb left by the end of the party and we had many lovely comments about it. I tried to pass it off as my own creation but funnily enough nobody believed me ;)

From beginning to end, Vanilla Pod exceeded all my expectations. To how they communicated, to the way they listened, the amount of amendments I made, and the final result. I was absolutely blown away by not only how our cake looked, but how delicious it was to eat! All of our guests commented on the cake and how wonderful it was. That aside, dealing with the Vanilla Pod Bakery made everything so easy and so pleasurable. A special mention to Jo, the kindest, most thoughtful Studio Manager ever, and Pia, the most wonderful, kind, visionary baker you could ever need and want for your day. We are so happy! Jo and Pia have been amazing from start to finish for our wedding cake! We visited Pia about a year out to create our cake, and Pia sketched it for us there and then and really listened to our vision. She was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely lovely! She even contacted our florist for the flowers on our cake to match the theme of our wedding. The cake was delicious and perfect, we really enjoyed the pictures of the cake being made the day before the wedding, and vanilla pod leaving us some cupcakes and dog treats for our dog on our seat for the top table. Very thoughtful. I couldn’t recommend vanilla pod enough - you’ll be in great hands! Thanks again ♥️

These cakes are amazing. They were freshly baked - just a few hours before we collected. They looked just exactly like the pictures on the website. AND best of all they were absolutely delicious - our guests commented "these are the best cupcakes ever". What an amazing company to deal with, so friendly and efficient which is just what you need when you have a big event to organise. Thank you Vanilla Pod Bakery, Cheltenham !
I should add that our guests were SO delighted when they had a cupcake in one of the gorgeous gift boxes shown to take home. A wonderful party favor idea - our event was a Baby Shower and we can't wait to order more !!!

My email started ‘I bet you’ve never had this request before.’

After 13 years of marriage my husband finally asked me for something for his 50th birthday. That something was 3 cakes and these were not ordinary cakes. The first was of Iron Maidens Eddie, the second was Paul McCartneys famous Bassman guitar and the third was of a specific Patek Phillipe watch.

I must have approached 20+ companies asking for help, I was either ghosted, turned away, told they did not have the date or that it could be made but I would need to collect two days before. Thankfully after reaching out to our party venue they recommended The Vanilla Pod Bakery where I had the pleasure of dealing with their wonderful team via email, phone and a zoom meeting. They were up for the challenge and a design was created that combined all three of my husbands requests.

Wow, this cake was incredible. Two tiers, the top being gluten and dairy free for myself. Hand painted with Eddie jumping out of the cake holding Paul McCartneys guitar and the watch face formed part of the age to the top of the cake. The cake was all hand painted with the Iron Maiden background and then ‘the number of the beast’ written to the back of the cake. The cake tasted amazing, my first taste of birthday cake in probably 10 years.

We were surprised how far it went and every guest went home with enough for themselves and extended family.

We have kept Eddie and my husband loved the design of the cake so much he’s now looking at having the Eddie holding the guitar made as an ornament to go in his office.

Thank-you to the whole team for bringing my bizarre design and husbands only ever birthday gift request to life.

Pia and the team created our wedding cake - which exceeded all expectations! It was both beautiful and exceptionally tasty. What was really great was having a face to face consultation. The team took time to understand our vision, the details we were incorporating into the day - in general - so that the cake would tie in. The team mocked up the presentation using stands and faux cakes and flowers and sent me a drawing. When we first saw the cake on the day - it was even better! Their communications with us, the florist and venue were spot on making us feel informed and super comfortable. I have no reservations in recommending Vanilla Pod! Stunning!

Thank you for our son’s AMAZING 18th birthday cake, made with such skill, love and speed!! We opted for the Lemon Drizzle Curd cake with buttercream icing decorated with an abundance of fresh fruit on the top and around base. It looked stunning! My in-laws were so impressed with the smooth and simple collection, the ease of car boot transportation and the birthday boy was absolutely delighted with his first ever professional birthday cake; extra professional, super professional, ultra professional. And yes, it was utterly delicious! Thank you also for the careful collection and cutting instructions, the candles and for his birthday card as well, which was so very touching. Being sent a progress photo by Jo was hugely reassuring too. You and your team are absolutely wonderful! Thank goodness we have another child who will also need a cake…..
