Twice they have overcharged me, refused to refund, kept me waiting for over 15 mins when they weren’t busy and force you to fill in a very long questionnaire on your health completely unnecessarily so they collect all your data. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
HIFU appointment at Velvet…
I booked a HIFU appointment at Velvet Skin Clinic in Uxbridge—booked on a Monday for Tuesday. They changed my appointment time from 11:00 to 12:00, which I accepted. I arrived on time, paid £2.50 for parking and went inside, but nobody seemed to know who I was. I was told to wait and sat for about 15 minutes. A staff member offered me a coffee and said the practitioner was in a meeting. By 12:30 they finally took me to a room to cleanse my skin, then asked me to get off the bed and move to another room where they cleansed me again and told me to wait. After waiting about 45 minutes in total with no apology or communication, I left—my time is valuable. The clinic never contacted me to apologise. Very disappointed with the poor communication and service. I will not return.

This clinic is far from professional, and I wouldn’t trust it. Communication is poor, hygiene is neglected, and the owner’s priorities are all wrong. She spends time polishing the floors at the front entrance to impress customers, but ignores the things clients can’t see like the dirty towels and blankets being reused on different people without proper washing. Honestly, it’s disgusting.
I spoke to her about it because I was genuinely concerned. She brushed it off, Only after I insisted did she respond, and even then her excuse was that the washing machine was broken.
But that doesn’t change the fact that reusing the same towels for full-body laser sessions could easily spread skin diseases from one client to another.
She just didn’t care, as long as the customer didn’t notice.
We worked hard sometimes 9 hours straight without breaks or lunch and always did my best for the clients. She was all smiles when the customers were happy and she was making money from my work. But the moment I got injured in her clinic and started asking for my rights, I saw her other face cold, disrespect, dismissive, and even cruel.
I was shocked that the time I spent in cleaning and preparing the room even if it 1 hour is not paid and I wasn’t even aware of because she didn’t give me contract or any documents about my employment only payslip for salary.
She ignored my messages and calls, hung up on me mid-conversation, and made me wait over an hour at the clinic while she treated client after client, acting like I wasn’t even there. She still hasn’t paid me my salary from June.
This isn’t just about money, it’s about being treated with basic human respect.
Sadly, her greed and love for money seem to have blinded her to any sense of fairness or decency. She fired me without any notification while I was on a valid sick note. She didn’t even bother to reply on me while I kept asking her about my employment status and salary. I felt like she discriminated and abused me.
Can you imagine until now she didn’t paid me my salary while she continued using my photos and videos while doing treatments for marketing purposes.
If she treated me like this, when I was loyal and working my hardest, I truly worry how she treats others when things go wrong. I’m sharing this so no one else has to go through the same humiliation and emotional abuse I did and also to warn her clients about what they can’t see behind.

هذه العيادة بعيدة كل البعد عن الاحترافية، ولا أنصح أي شخص بالثقة بها. التواصل سيئ، والنظافة مُهملة، وأولويات صاحبة العمل في غير محلها. فهي تهتم بتلميع الأرضيات في الواجهة لتبهر الزبائن، لكنها تتجاهل أشياء لا يراها العميل — مثل المناشف والبطانيات المتسخة التي تُستخدم لأكثر من شخص دون أي غسيل مناسب. بصراحة، الأمر مقزّز.
لقد نبّهتها بنفسي لأنني كنت قلقة، لكنها ردّت بلا مبالاة قائلة إنه "لا يوجد وقت". وبعد إصراري، تحجّجت بأن غسالة الملابس معطّلة. لكن ذلك لا يغيّر حقيقة أن استخدام نفس المناشف لجلسات ليزر الجسم الكامل يمكن أن ينقل أمراض جلدية بسهولة من شخص لآخر. هي ببساطة لم تكترث طالما أن الزبون لا يعرف.
عندما بدأت العمل هنا، كنت أعمل بجد ٩ ساعات متواصلة بلا أي استراحة أو حتى وقت للغداء وهي لا تكترث أبدا لذلك برغم انه غير قانوني ان تضعنا تحت هذا الضغط لكنها لا تكترث. كما ان ساعة تنظيف وترتيب العيادة غير محسوب الاجر فهي إنسانه مستغلة استغلتني بدون ان تشعر حتى بالذنب
كانت تبتسم دائمًا عندما ترى الزبائن سعداء وتكسب المال من عملي، لكن بمجرد أن أصبت في عيادتها وبدأت أطالب بحقي، رأيت وجهها الآخر البارد، المتعالي، والقاسي.
تجاهلت رسائلي واتصالاتي، وأغلقت الهاتف في وجهي،
وتركتني أنتظر في العيادة أكثر من ساعة بينما كانت تُدخل العملاء واحدًا تلو الآخر وكأني غير موجودة. وحتى الآن لم تدفع لي راتبي لشهر يونيو.
الموضوع ليس مجرد مال بل عن احترام أبسط حقوق الإنسان. للأسف، طمعها وحبها للمال أعمى بصيرتها وجعلها تتجاهل أي حس بالعدالة أو الأخلاق.
والى الان لم تكلف نفسها إرسال راتبي فهي مشغولة بجمع المال.
إذا كانت قد عاملتني بهذه الطريقة وأنا أعمل بإخلاص وبكل طاقتي، فأنا حقًا أقلق على أي شخص يتعامل معها إذا حدث خلاف.
أشارك تجربتي هذه حتى لا يعيش أي شخص آخر نفس الإهانة والأذى النفسي الذي تعرضت له وايضاً احذر الآخرين من سوء ادارتها وعدم اهتمامها بالنظافة كمايجب

Poor communication, Poor management lack of real hygiene (for instance towels and blankets are very dirty, same for all clients, they don’t bother to change them, or care of hygiene as it should be. Terrible communication and awful treatment.
I realize how they are not telling the truth, making up stories to justified the situation for their interest. Always overbooking and rushing to get more clients and collect more money. No matter how the treatment was.
Poor aftercare instructions provided.
when it comes to your rights. We always hear about issues and problems with clients and staff. Every time staff changing. Imagine how many person you need to take off your clothes in front of. They want to get the most of everything for their favourite and interests only.
Frankly speaking everything will be fine until you have any problem with them or not satisfied about anything, then you will see what I am talking about, the real awful lying face of them.
My honest advice avoid them ⚠️

Very disappointed with the management…
Very disappointed with the management at this clinic. Scheduling is a mess, and there’s little to no coordination between staff. Waiting times are long even with an appointment, and communication is poor. Overall, the place feels disorganized and unprofessional.
Stay clear
Stay clear, especially if you want fast blood test results. A catalogue of issues with this place. I definitely wont be using them again.
1. Firstly, I called the practice to enquire about the Wellman Profile. A lady on the phone said she would call me back in 10-15min. Never happened. I called back over an hour later to get the information I needed, it sounded like i was speaking with the same lady only she said "oh sorry that was my colleague not me".
2. Obtaining my results quickly was paramount to me. I was told on the phone i would get my results "within 24hours of my bloods being taken". However on the day my bloods being taken i was told i would get my results 24 hours after they had been collected by an external company, who may or may not collect the same day (they send your bloods to an external lab for assessment).
3. 24 hours after my bloods were taken. No results. I called the practice and was told my bloods were collected late and so I should expect them another 24 hours later.
4. Those additional 24 hours passed and still no results.
5. I called the practice and was told I'd get my results by midnight that night. Midnight arrived, no results.
6. 4 days passed before I received my results. So much for a promised 24 hour turnaround.
7. I was told I would get a call from the practice the day i received my results and have everything explained to me. Never happened.
There were warning signs though, which i should have listened to:
1. The failed call back in "10-15min"
2. On the day of my bloods being taken, while in the reception waiting area, one of the reception staff was on the phone with a clearly disgruntled customer. This was very obvious even if i could only hear one part of the conversation.
3. The time change "you'll get results within 24 hours" to "you'll get results 24 hours from when your bloods are collected by an external company (the lab work isn't done on site)
4. The repeated promise of "it'll take another 24 hour.

This session felt rushed & i felt i did not get the same service as i would with my usual lady, unhappy customer.

My experience was extremely unprofessional
My experience was extremely disappointing due to the rude and inexperienced staff, coupled with a complete lack of customer service. After waiting for an hour without any update, I asked about the delay. Although I was informed there was a delay, I noticed several people who arrived after me were seen promptly and left before me. Despite seeing other customers being offered water, I was not.
When I finally went in for my appointment, the therapist mistakenly assumed I was there for a facial, which was not the case, making the situation even more uncomfortable.
Upon returning to the reception area, I was met with unfriendly faces and no concern for the hour of my time they had wasted. They offered me another appointment for August without any form of confirmation.
When I called today, 27th July 2024, to confirm the details of this appointment, I was taken around the houses for 15 minutes by Civya who knew nothing, could not find me on their system, and basically had no clue about her job. When I inquired about the owner's details, I was shocked and offended by the description given, rather than the contact details, I was told by Civya "she's a white lady." I told Civya, this was extremely unprofessional and rude.
I then received a call from Priya on July 27, 2024, advising me she wanted to know what my complaint was about. I advised her I wished to have the details of the owner, as I no longer wished to speak to anyone in the shop. She insisted that she was the only one I could complain too. I asked her again If it is possible to have the owner's details, she put me on hold and hung up!!
This is not a professional service, but it seems to be a poorly managed side business with inexperienced and unprofessional staff and people who couldn't care less about the customer service.
Avoid wasting your time and money

I phoned them today regarding a Wowcher deal for £24 (including a 30 minute facial and 30 minute head massage).
1. First call - they confirmed they have availability today for me to come in at 4:30pm and I could either book via Wowcher or pay them in store but they would call me back after 10 minutes to confirm.
2. Second call - they called me back and confirmed I can pay £40 when I walk in as they are a walk in clinic and will see me at 4:30pm and tried to disconnect the call. I asked the lady to wait on the phone and explained how I would like to pay £24 as per the Wowcher deal and they confirmed I can book through Wowcher and provide them with the Wowcher code for the £24 deal. I confirmed I will call them back with the code asap and they re-confirmed the appointment will be scheduled for today 4:30pm.
3. I quickly paid for the deal through Wowcher and called them back to provide the Wowcher code. The first lady who answered the phone could not understand that I am ready to give her the Wowcher code and transferred me to her colleague who took the Wowcher code and mentioned their manager will call me back. At this point I enquired if my appointment is still scheduled for 4:30pm because I need to get ready to come. They again confirmed it is scheduled for 4:30pm.
4. Fourth call. They called me back with a rubbish sorry to confirm they cannot book the appointment today and said the Lazer technician is unavailable. I was extremely upset and enquired why they confirmed on multiple occasions today they confirmed its definitely booked for 4:30pm and now cancelling the appointment. All I got was a unconcerned sorry and request to re-book it for next Sunday.
Throughout all the calls I had with them today, I can truly say they lack any care or concern about their clients and do not deserve our time or money. I cancelled the voucher through Wowcher and will never waste my time on them again.
