It was awesome. My husband loved it for his 60 th birthday. It was very easy to do and memorable. Thank you! I know friends and family that are to use it now.

The end product! It was a little confusing trying to get the video to load but the customer service chat box helped. So patient and knowledgeable?

Vidday has been an awesome experience. If you are a novice or an experienced digital tech you will find this gratifying. It was easy for all of my recipients from the original invite, making and uploading the video and pictures, and accepting and viewing the final result. It just doesn’t get better than this. Great quality for final project. Great selection of free music uploads and backgrounds. Very user friendly. I highly recommend Vidday!

I was creating a video for my husband's 70th birthday. The process was easy and I love the finished product.

Vidday is not yet quite ready for prime time. I used this platform to do a video montage for my wife's birthday. The good news: Starting the process and uploading video clips were easy and straightforward, as was composing the invitation. It was also easy to select a theme and music to go with the video, as long as you only use the basic themes and music. They also offer a host of other free and paid options to add to your video, but I did not take advantage of them. There are several weaknesses: First, you cannot choose different music to go with their "original" themes. For example, I chose the "serenity" video/image theme. I couldn't change the music to go with it. Second, sending invitations was challenging, at least for me. To their credit, they offer options for using all major socials to send them. But their email option requires you to either type in each recipient yourself, or to upload a .csv file containing the addresses for all your contacts. However, I don't use social media, and I don't keep .csv files of my contacts. I ultimately chose to copy the link and email it myself. Third, Vidday's editing capabilities are basic, at best: It is exceptionally tedious to edit within individual clips to shorten them, not just to shorten them by closing the beginning and end. I wound up having to demand that they email me one of the clips to edit on my own computer using another. much more intuitive program. I decided I could live with the rest of the clips. (Their policy is not to allow downloads of video clips, probably owing to the risk of people using the platform just for storage, which I understand. They made that exception for me.) Make sure the people you invite to upload videos follow your instructions to keep the clips short!! Fourth, for an extra charge they promise to quality check your completed video, including smoothing out awkward transitions and upping the quality of grainy clips and poor sound quality as much as possible. Other than finding some sparkles added to my intro, I didn't see much in the way of improving the quality. The final weakness, in my opinion, relates to customer service. I could easily reach a human rep through their chat (yay! no chatbot to suffer through), but service amounted to little more than answering yes and no questions and pointing me to the FAQ for more information on how to accomplish various tasks, like split and merge. It would be much better if someone could have walked me through the clip editing process. I would gladly share my screen for help. For what it is at this point, Vidday is just ok. I expected a much more intuitive editing process. If that happens, Vidday has real potential.

I've used Vidday twice; the experience is user friendly, the price is super reasonable, and the gift of a video is unforgettable! The recipients were absolutely overwhelmed with love. What an incredible gift.

Everything about the process to create the video was extremely easy and quick. When I did have questions, I used the chat feature and was immediately connected with a live agent who quickly resolved the issue. I especially appreciated this support and not being directed to AI or links to more directions for me to read. I chose the option to copy the link to send to my contacts directly from my messages app. For me, this was easiest but keep in mind if you go this route you also have to follow up to send reminders if needed. This happens automatically if you choose to send the invites through the app. I also chose to upload background music from a file I downloaded from the Apple Music store. I have never done this before and it was super easy for me. All in all Vidday is a great service that produced a high-quality, memorable video montage with very little work on my part.

I enjoyed contacting our friends to see who might be interested in sending my husband birthday greetings. Not as many sent submissions as they are an older crowd and they found the app a little daunting., but I loved the final product and better still my husband thought it was the best gift ever!

Love the video making concept. It created a very special gift for 2 of my kids on their 18th. Will use again in 3 years for the next.

The excitement of the final product consumes you the entire time you are waiting for response. Getting people to respond is a bit of a challenge, but well worth it in the end. Frequent reminders are needed and are sent via Vidday only if you input their email. The use of cell phone numbers is easier because cell numbers are readily available.

This was an amazing way to put together a video of photos as well as friends and family sharing messages. It was easy to use and the end result was fantastic. They took the pressure of editing out of my hands and they were able to enhance the quality of the photos. Any questions I had were answered quickly and clearly making the whole experience pleasurable. I can’t recommend this website highly enough.

Vidday.com was user-friendly and that's coming from someone who is not tech savvy at all. I didn't use all of the options vidday.com provided, such as sending emails to participants, which probably would have made the whole project even simpler. I had already contacted people to send in videos, so I only used vidday.com to put everything together. It was a simple drag and drop process. Pricing was reasonable and I liked how they offered one free edit after it was processed. Though at that point I was done and didn't want to make any changes. My only complaint was that on some videos, which were in portrait view, there was no background on the sides. Contacted Customer Service, who was very prompt and helpful, but the background slides rotate and there's not really a way to ensure certain videos get backgrounds that complement them evenly, if that makes sense. The main objective was obtained, a surprised and happy recipient.

Working with Vidday was amazing! The process is easy and very straightforward. I would recommend using this company for any of your needs as they have great customer service and a wonderful and helpful team.

I was asked to contribute to a friends video and thought it would be a great idea for my friends 50th. It´s easy to organise and just makes the whole process easy. My friend loved it.

This was my first time using a company like this. I was very pleased with how easy it was to navigate through your program. To selecting contacts, to uploading pictures, videos, & even vice messages. The drag & drop feature to arrange the videos was really great, too. I love that you allow your customer to really customize the video to make it very personable. Then if, I had any questions, you support team was on top of it. Thank you guys so much. Will definitely be using you for future gifts, and will also be referring people.

Wonderful tool. Very easy to use and delivers you results in 30 min max. Great presentation in the end and a few other smart additional tools that help your close ones that are far away be part of your celebration ( like recording a “thank you” video and gifting options ).
