My Google search for state vital records led me to this company and I proceeded to place an order not realizing it was intermediate company that charged 5 times the cost of dealing with individual state agencies. When you are grieving and searching for death certificates from out of state, you sometimes aren’t as vigilant as you normally would be. I quickly realized my mistake and immediately asked for a refund which, per the company refund policy, would be granted if requested within 24 hours of placing the order. When I requested the refund, they stated they had already placed to order with the state agency and therefore they could not issue a refund. A asked for time stamped proof of the time it was submitted to the state. They danced around the question and when I wouldn’t let it go, they gave me a bogus time that did not correlate with my records. I asked multiple times for clarification, including what time zone they operate in and they are refusing to answer the question. I’m reasonably sure I’ll get the certificate, my complaint is that they are not honoring their refund policy and are stonewalling me to prove that they submitted the paperwork to the state when they claim they did. I would never due business with this company, nor recommend anyone else do so.

Complete scam- ordered records 3 months ago for almost $300 dollars, they never arrived and almost ruined my wedding. I contacted Vital CHEK and received my documents within 2 weeks for $30.

I purchased their service to get a copy of my Texas birth certificate. I requested and paid for expedited service which should have arrived 8 days later. Almost a month later, I checked why it hadn't arrived and they said it had been cancelled by the issuing agency and I could file by mail. They offered a 20% refund for no service. I contacted my bank and they credited me with the full amount of the fraudulent charge.
This is a scam company.

Avoid this company! Not worth the frustration, or expense! My girlfriend was ordering and paying to get a copy of my birth certificate with my authorization. I sent them copies of my Drivers license and a signed document with my authorization. I'm really surprised that States allow these BS Companies to act on their behalf!

I ordered three of my great-grandmother's birth certificates through Oklahoma's website and paid more than $300. This company won't submit the request to Oklahoma until I get a signed permission letter from my great-grandmother, who passed away more than 30 years ago. I've had previous bad experiences with this company and wasted money trying to get documents that I paid for.
