Absolute scam and waste of time! The organisers are just there to puff their chests and tell you how wonderful they are. My child’s school apparently “won” an audition to perform at Wembley and they were just put in the stalls as part of another 170 schools as an audience. No performance on the stage for them, just a load of much older singers on stage who are the same ones year after year. The volume of the stage performers was so insanely loud you could not hear the 170 school’s children dumped in the stalls despite them all singing the songs and learning dances. The tickets were £35 each. Just a joke to try and play hunt your child in the stalls.
I paid for the “professional” school group photo, what turned up was an absolute disgrace. Half the children weren’t in the photo, the school banner had been cut off, it was as if someone had just taken a rubbish picture on a phone in the dark in the crowd and then it was printed on A4 photo paper. When I complained they accepted NO responsibility of how awful the photo was and blamed the teachers for not organising the children correctly for the photo!! The photo was taken in the stalls, in the dark! A waste of £16 and no way would they refund it. They even had the audacity to say “we’ve been doing this for 15 years” well in that case, you should be providing a far better service. The collection of children at the end was chaotic and unorganised.
This is purely an ego trip for the organisers. Do not waste your money on going as your child is just in the stalls to crate an unheard atmosphere. They’re not told they’re not going on stage.

Money making scam.

My 8 year old niece and her classmates apparently won a competition to perform there. 60 children, with teachers and parents travelled from Nottingham to London for this event. 3 of us paid £35 each for tickets thinking my niece and her choir would perform on stage. They didn't, and all the class were hugely disappointed and upset. They basically used the kids to fill seats and create a vibe. They had no intention of letting them sing. A horrible manipulation of children.

I won my case against Voice in a million and received a county court judgement of £382.55. Rather than pay up, the company have emailed me that they are appealing which means I now have to instruct bailiffs.

Believe the reviews, they are true. The most unprofessional organisation I have ever encountered. After 2 years of emails and telephone calls (always answer machine), I have received part of my 2020 ticket refund. Part (not full) refund obtained after I posted my tickets on their website for resale for this years concert. Even then, I had to persue them for 5 months to obtain the reimbursement.

Told to wait and resell ticket when a new date was scheduled. Not ideal, but at least I’d get my money back. Never contacted to say the event had been rescheduled. Saw VIAM 2022 photos in social media.
Contacted VIAM and told all tickets that were requested to be replaced were reissued. I didn’t want a replacement ticket as my children have left primary school. For ticket holders unable to attend they offered a Ticket Resale mechanism. Not to me, I have not heard anything from them. I visited the website many times and advice was we will contact you. Email states, ‘Sorry there is nothing more I can do.’.

I purchased tickets on behalf of the parents at our school for the 2020 show - the show didn’t happen - Our children are now in high school. I was placed on the exchange in 2021 for the 2022 show I spoke with VOice in a million last week and said my tickets hadn’t yet been allocated to the families attending in 2022 - well the show happened last night and still no word ! Please note that a lot of our school were there!

I have since spoken to Wembley Arena who say the VIAM concert is not going ahead on March 23rd as it has been cancelled, although I can see they are selling tickets for it and it certainly seems to be happening - which states that if you purchased tickets through axs for the 2020 concert you can just turn up for the new concert and the booking is carried over. However if you bought them through a promoter, which Im guessing we all did, then that booking has been cancelled some time ago and the tickets are not transferable... It all seems very suspicious and I have tickets that have never been refunded and Im now told cannot be transferred to the new rescheduled date as the promoter I bought them from has cancelled them! Please do NOT participate with VIAM or purchase concert tickets.

Shocking! Reading below I can see we are all in the same boat! No one has recieved a refund from the March 2020 concerts. The venue refuse to engage as they say they are awaiting a reschedule date. VIAM must have so much money accrued from the March concerts that they haven’t paid out. This is the only concert/theatre show I haven’t been refunded and rescheduled by since 2020. Absolutely shocking!

DO NOT BOOK!! Still waiting for a refund for cancelled show in 2020. My son has left his school over two years ago! Refusing to give money back so unsure where all the money is that has been sat on for two years!! Now tickets going on sale again for 2022 and we are left with tickets that are useless. Hundreds of us still out of pocket two years later, so unfair.

Terrible company. I purchased tickets for Voice in a million back in 2020 when my son was meant to perform, Obviously this was cancelled due to Covid. The company refused to issue a refund and have said I can try to re-sell my ticket for their re-scheduled event in 2022!!

Really disgusting as they must have be sitting on tens of thousands of pounds for the past 2 years!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND IF CANNCELLED WILL NOT REFUND.

Still trying to get a refund they are now saying it is a Force Majeure and they now have no obligations under the contract.

But we can still go to the show for 2022 or resell ticket who is going to buy tickets from this company now, if they act like this.

I will be taking it further as I still believe they owe me money.

If I could give a zero I would. Purchased 5 tickets for voice in a million which was obviously cancelled due to Covid. Company refusing to give a refund telling you to speak to your school and arrange for them to resell tickets for this years show which obviously isn’t going to happen. Terrible service clearly lining their own pockets they would have had a refund from the venue under insurance so why can’t we have our money back?
Disgusting company, and she want to please poverty, and quote charitable work. Will be submitting a FOI request to see if she received a refund from Wembley.

Refusal to give money back and told me circumstances cannot be as dire as hers to want my money back!!! She also told me I have no idea what she does for charity... which is what exactly? From what I can make out her business is not a registered charity but a money making machine to line her own pocket.

You don’t know me or why VIAM was established or what I have, and continue to do for children, adoption, fostering and vulnerable children. You have absolutely no idea of my personal or family circumstances, I can assure they will be considerable more difficult than your own”.

Dreadful company. I booked tickets for my family to watch my son sing here. It was ‘postponed’ from March 2020 due to COVID. My son was year 6 and would not want to attend when he is no longer at the school. We are also a shielding family due to having a CEV teenager so it will be a long time before we could attend any such event even when it does happen. I asked for my money (£100) back and was refused. Everything else I had booked last year I received the money back for. But not this. Despite several emails. I think its disgusting. When families were being financially impacted by the COVID situation I don’t understand how VIAM can behave like this.

Do not book tickets, Modern day pirates!!!!, refuse to give a refund whilst every other concert willingly does, my daughter will no longer be at this school when the ‘rescheduled’ concert takes place and most of the singers have already moved to a different school...the owners of the company should take moral responsibility and give refunds to those parents that wish to receive one...otherwise they should be taken to court......willing to take other parents money whilst owing parents for this year!!!

As above, they are refusing to refund the money paid for two overpriced tickets I´ve bought for the show. It´s now December and I´ve got in touch with the School - demanding action from them. The schools should get together to pin the couple organizing the event to a wall. Their attitude is disgusting, stealing from the parents of young children. It´s their problem if they had no adequate insurance. Money back or GO TO PRISON. You pocket thousands of pounds! It won´t be over until is over. It might take 10 years but you wont keep my money.

DO NOT BOOK! Will not provide a refund, my son will have left his primary school for two years if this show goes ahead and they will not refund the tickets bought by me and my family. Spent a small fortune on tickets, t-shirts etc and they will not refund any of it. Other shows that we booked that have been cancelled I received a full refund so really concerned where my money is and why it will not be refunded.

DO NOT BOOK TICKETS WITH THIS COMPANY. Last year we were asked by our school if we would like to see our daughter sing at wembley - what parent wouldn’t? So we spent over £100 on tickets to see our child to sing at Wembley in March With #viam. The show was cancelled due to Covid fair enough and It’s now late June 2020 we still have no re scheduled date and no indication of when the government will be able to allow a venue like Wembley to fill 40k people or an offer of our money back. I thought this was fairly unusual as I’ve been offered a refund for the other shoe that I had booked that had cancelled but I left it for three months hoping a new date maybe scheduled for next hear but heard nothing at all. So I sent them some messages asking for a refund and had no reply, then called the office - their phone message said we’re not taking calls or messages and instructed us to send an email. So I emailed and then got a response saying we will not refund your money - without any alternative date. I thought this is bizzarre? I have nothing to show for my money. My concern is that the reason they are saying they will not refund is that they will go bust. We don’t have any other date booked so we have nothing to show for our money whatsoever not even the t shirts. We are blatantly being denied our money back they are holding onto it. There are a big group other disgruntled parents who have been attempting to get their money back they have been commenting out of sheer frustration on the main VIAM Facebook page #viam have now muted all the unhappy customers comments wanting their £100’s back by blocking comments from these people making it look like everyone’s happy - BELIEVE ME WE ARE NOT HAPPY. Avoid dealing with this company at all costs. All they care about is keeping your money. There are better options for something similar for your child to do if you want to see them sing.
