I recieved the best quote for my iPhone 15 from we buy tek - first time doing this. had heard that a lot of the companies knock the money down of the quote once recieved but we buy tek did not. Phone was recieved a within the hour my payment was in the bank - very very impressed. Smooth service, great communication. Very honest and fair thank you so much!

However, all devices are fully tested on arrival, and occasionally we do have to re-evaluate a quote if a device doesn’t match the condition or criteria originally provided. Use alternative trade-in sites instead
I used WeBuyTek to trade in a broken iPhone 11 and initially received a quote of £67 under their faulty category. After sending the phone in, the offer was revised down to £30 due to “Digitizer, Glass Condition, Unable to refurbish LCD”.
What disappointed me was that the original quoted criteria already stated that cracked screens and heavy cosmetic wear were acceptable for faulty devices, so the revaluation felt inconsistent with the original assessment.
I also found the process frustrating because there didn’t appear to be any meaningful way to challenge or discuss the revised valuation. The only alternatives were to accept the reduced offer or pay a £10 fee to have the device returned.
Based on this experience, I would personally use other trade-in services in future, as I have found them to be fairer and more transparent when assessing devices against their quoted grading criteria.

I initially left a bad review due to a confusion over my quote, but I will say the customer service at webuytek is really good and human led. I had quick responses over email and my issue was resolved really quickly and reasonably. Thank you to the team.
I’d recommend the service. Just be aware to read all the guidelines before you assume you’ve picked the right price and your device meets all the criteria. If something seems wrong with your quote check in with customer service directly.
