5 star service I would give more if I could. Great staff very friendly and they would go out of their way to help you.
I wouldn't take my Vdubs to anywhere else as the work they do is fantastic..

I have hesitated before writing this review and I don't habitually write negative reviews. I took my camper van, Buttercup, for some bodywork - two new wheel arches, a repaired seam on the sliding door and a new engine bay hinge. The estimate was 25 hours of labour plus the cost of the parts. Various complications and phone calls led to some difficult conversations but I was finally assured absolutely that the cost would not exceed 40 hours of labour. When I received my final invoice I was invoiced for 56.25 hours of labour - a bank-breaking increase on what I had been promised. Since I have had Buttercup back the arches are great. The seam on the door is fixed. However, the driver's door was removed and put back on incorrectly and is now stiff and hard to close. The engine, which had been running perfectly, stuttered badly and needed work to repair it, the engine bay hinge was replaced but not painted to match the other one and the engine bay door does not close properly. Finally, the inside handle on the sliding door was put back on the wrong way, preventing the door from opening fully and causing damage to my bus. I'm afraid that, although all I have seen about Weldwagen is positive reviews, I feel hugely disappointed by the quality of the work, the shifting goalposts and the unexpected price inflation and the problems I have had to solve since Weldwagen had my bus.
