Wildpacks themselves were helpful and supportive, probably the best company to go to if you want to go to a camp in the USA, they negotiate a very high salary compared to other organisations. But the camp I was sent to was very unprofessional and the way international staff were treated was very unfair, bullying from administration and preferential treatment meant that four different internationals chose to leave the camp, I would have too if I could afford to change my flights. I think Wildpacks needs to do a better job of reviewing the camps they keep contact with, and only put people in contact with camps that fit the description of what that person wants. E.g: I wanted to be a counsellor at an overnight camp, and ended up a lifeguard at a day camp. Wildpacks makes it very difficult for you to reject a camp and so a lot of people end up at camps they're not happy with because they are pushed to accept the first offer they are given.

I went through Wildpacks to secure a summer camp placement in the USA, and overall it was a really positive experience. From the beginning, the application process was straightforward and clearly explained, which made what could have been a stressful process feel much more manageable.
The team were supportive throughout, especially when it came to preparing for interviews and sorting out the paperwork. They were always quick to respond to questions and kept me updated at each stage, which made a big difference.

Great agency!
This will be my 3rd year returning to American summer camp but the first time I’ve used wildpacks. I was recommended by my friend who works for the company, in previous years I used camp leaders and AmeriCamp. Out of all three I’d say wildpacks has been the most straight forward, easy, quick and helpful agency. All staff members are lovely and very attentive, fast responses and helpful throughout the whole process.

Wildpacks have been super helpful in my summer camp journey! As a first timer they have provided great support with every step of my application and kept me updated along the way. They also provide great step by step guides during difficult stages such as visa applications.

Wild packs was my absolute saving grace for my first year going to camp. I had no clue where to start or what to do yet I was talked through every single step - no question is too much for them! Marisa especially has been a massive help through my application process helping every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend Wild packs enough!!!
