I worked at the hessle road hull branch, which is now closed. I worked there about two years ago the individual who apparently became a manager and his position to become one is an absolute mystery he was completely devoid of any leadership skills. He humiliated staff in front of customers and was a compulsive liar. An evil devious individual if ever I had the unpleasant experience to endure. I was in the company of this individual I witnessed these things and the more I think of this experience the more angry I am getting.Date of experience 2024

Evil people accused me of urinating in their car park despite me having prostate cancer.

Nasty bent police issued Fixed Penalty notice for disorder have a trial next yrar but it will be thrown out shame I can't sue this demons for damages.

Brought a tent on sale last October used it for the first time 2 weeks ago The tent was brilliant until it started to raining all of a sudden we had a puddle in the tent coming from the stiching had to abandon our hoilday tried to contact winfields regarding the matter and no responses from the company did not expect this from a 1800 pound tent and from this company

Has anyone one got a contact detail to get through to these to resolve my issue as the email provided on the website no one replies back

Was a simple process to buy online. Goods deivered on time and I am happy with the quality of the goods.

No delivery of the product after I paid.

No wonder this bunch of crooks has gone out of business. They must have known on 5th April that they wouldn't be honouring my purchase of £35.70 through Amazon. It obviously never arrived. However, they are still advertising the same item on Amazon for over £50.
I feel for any of the staff who may lose their jobs but the bosses should be ashamed.

When I've written a terrible review on Trustpilot (this time for Morrisons) I like to think of a company that has treated me really well recently and so I'm nominating Winfields at Garforth, Leeds. Ying and Yang. Whilst it's not the most inviting building I've been to, it's always great service and well worth a look. I bought a folding Regatta picnic table in September 2024. One of the seats cracked while on holiday in October and I forgot all about it until March. I took it back to the shop at 3pm for an exchange and they said no problem but they needed to order another from their warehouse and it might take a week, which was fine. Incredibly they rang me at 10am the next day to say it had arrived. Amazing service. Previous occasions they've helped me out getting the correct gas bottles and other equipment including end of line discounted items and I've also used their online store for other competitively priced items too. Well done guys. I really hope you continue to do well...

THE COMPANY IS IN ADMINISTRATION! Ordered online on the 07/04/25. I have not received my item or any communication. I have tried calling and emailed. News outlets and a social media post states they are still trading online. This is incorrect. The website has only just put a notification up on the 15/04/25 stating they're no longer trading from the 03/04/25. They were still taking orders up until the 15/04/25 knowing people would be making purchases that won't be delivered or refunded.

EDIT: I have now received my refund through the administration company COWGILLS

I sent the item back on 2 April as it was not the right size for me, but the refund is still not issued two weeks later.

Placed order in the sale, item didn’t arrive and they cancelled my order. Item is available on their website now at the full price. Don’t sell items in the sale if you are not going to honour the transaction, then cancel the order and sell at full price.

Poor experience. Item arrived damaged and looked like it had previously been used. The nice gentleman at winsfields online enquiries asked me to return and reply with online contact form which I did. Then upon item return at depot to be informed that Winsfields had gone into Administration. I am still waiting for a refund and up to now received no follow up email from Cowgills (admin firm) to acknowledge my email, and complaint etc.

Placed an order on 3rd April for delivery within 3-5 days. Due by 9th April according to the order tracking information. Order seems stuck at "sent to warehouse". Can't get through by phone, and an automated response receive to email chaser. A shame as previous orders were fulfilled speedily. Why are they accepting new orders when they cannot fulfil existing ones? Some communication, if there are issues, would help, especially as there seems to be no way of actually speaking to someone.

They actually went into administration on 3rd April so it is shocking that they continued to accept my order and loads of others after that date.

And they are continuing to email (20th April) with discount offers. What an awful end.

They cancelled my order without explanation and when I went to their website they'd simply re-listed the item but for +£160!
