Do not Trust this Hotel
My luggage went missing whilst staying at the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel, Frankfurt Central Railway, Wesserstrasse 17, Central Frankfurt.
I have spent an enormous amount of time trying to obtain compensation without success. Computers and business materials as well as clothes were lost.
The hotel is owned by Millenium Hotels who agreed to compensation but then failed to pay.
Moreover the Ramada name is owned by Wyndham Hotels in the US who have been equally dismissive.
A Polizei report was filed and investigated and confirmed the luggae was lost by the Hotel.
All guests should be aware the Hotel does not care about their safety or belongings.
Wyndham Hotels do not care either. Do not trust Millenium, Ramada or Wyndham.
Danke, Wyndham!
Laramie, Wyoming AmericInn
Stayed at AmericInn by Wyndham in Laramie, Wyoming. Pet friendly place (gave us a little bag of doggie treats), friendly staff, VERY clean rooms, beautiful place - all for a completely affordable rate. 10/10 will stay again.
Howard Johnson Hotel & Suites by Wyndham St. George 1040 S. Main Street, Saint George, UT, 84770
This place felt gross and is NOTHING like the advertised pictures. I don't even know if the breakfast could be considered continental and the tables were dirty. The room scared me because the floor wasn't sturdy and I was afraid I would end up downstairs. We didn't even have a light over the sink but from the other reviews it's probably a good thing. The AC wouldn't go below 68 so the room was stuffy. The night clerk was really nice however it was very odd and rude that the morning clerk spoke to us through a video screen. I felt like I was in the episode of Big Bang theory when Sheldon only interacted through a moving screen with a t-shirt. It was not worth the money it cost. I definitely will pay more and stay at a better-known brand. Howard Johnson's heyday is over.

Worst Hotel I Ever Stayed At!
Worst Hotel I Ever Stayed At!
Thriftlodge by Wyndham Moncton
Where do Is start:
- Burn marks in the sheets
- Condom wrappers everywhere
- Toilet was broken
- An Extra $200 deposit upfront despite already paying for the room
- Free breakfast was stale. The bread had mould on it and the milk was already curdled
- Room smelt of smoke and dog poop cause pets are allowed at the hotel and they don't clean
There are even more to add here but I have something to tell you "JUST SLEEP IN YOUR CAR"
Booking cancellation was a nightmare
Booking cancellation was a nightmare. No booking confirmation email was received after I booked a one night stay at Days Inn hotel, Wetherby, UK. Called Days Inn CS - gave me the complete runaround after telling me they couldn't cancel the booking because it had been booked through Expedia. I've never used Expedia in my life. No escalation route possible. Gave me a US customer care number that didn't work - was for Swinton Insurance UK! Had to go back through browser history. Found it had been booked through Days Inn OK but web address was for an intermediary called HotelsOne. Called HotelsOne CS number, got given a different booking ref number to the one Days Inn had given me. Used this number to cancel my booking via HotelsOne website. My advice - **avoid Days Inn at all costs** unless you enjoy wasting hours of your time
Infested, unsafe, and completely misrepresented. Avoid this place.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I booked Days Inn Savannah Gateway I95 through Priceline and the room was nothing like the photos. It was unsafe, filthy, and infested.
I saw multiple live roaches crawling in the room. I recorded them on video. There were also dead roaches on the floor. That alone tells you everything about the sanitation level.
Every area of the room had problems.
The floors were warped, lifted, and unsafe. The chair was shredded and unusable. The couch was stained. The shower was dirty and covered in buildup. The walls and fixtures were filthy. The toilet paper was almost gone at check-in. The heating system did not work even though the thermostat claimed it was set to 86 degrees.
I was traveling with two children including one with a disability who needs a stable and clean environment. This room was dangerous and completely unfit.
The hotel refused a refund. Priceline tried to deny the refund too even with photos and videos of live roaches and unsafe flooring.
If you value your health, safety, sanity, or your money, avoid this hotel completely. This property should not be listed on Priceline until it is repaired, cleaned, and inspected.
Baymont by Wyndham
Baymont by Wyndham, 2326 North U.S. 31 S, Traverse City, MI, US states that they give discounts to family members with patients in local hospitals. With the first night I stayed in the area because of my family the rate they charged was satisfactory. The second night I did not know if I would still need to stay in town. I went into the facility to obtain a room. It was a different clerk....I made him aware that I had a family member in and he gave me the price for the room. It was much higher than the night before. I provided the info what I had paid before and he apologized but he had to charge me the price he gave for a room. I also showed him on the Wyndham site that it was for an even lower price than the one from the night before. He told me that if I wanted to register on the Wyndham site I could then he could give me that price. I ended up leaving the facility because of his low customer service. In the parking lot both nights I made the clerks aware of a running car in the parking lot that looked to be that people were living in the car. Neither seemed concern.
AVOID
Wyndham Resorts and hotels promote themselves as being a luxury brand, but there is no consistent quality. I stayed in a Wyndham “Deluxe” Hotel & Spa that was far below standard:
• dirty floors (and I mean black)
• stained, collapsed mattresses
• sheets that don’t cover the mattress protector which dozens of guests have slept on
• rooms so noisy the Decibel rating is double the recommended level
• room and facilities descriptions utterly misleading
• longs queues to enter school-dinner style canteens where food is kept at below safe temperatures in cavernous halls where it is impossible to hold a conversation due to the noise (and guests fined €15 per PLATE if they take food out).
• Insufficient lift capacity – 2 lifts for floors 6 and 7
• intermittent and slow Wi-Fi – far from the “Free High-Speed Internet” offered.
• insufficient ironing facilities (one iron next to chaotic reception in a 7-floor 2,000 bed hotel (!)
Not what is expected of Wyndham’s ”trusted hotel brands”. Trusted by whom?
The one I stayed in was billed as a ”Sophisticated all-inclusive hotel”; clearly they don’t know the meaning of the word “sophisticated”. It was a zoo.
No matter how they advertise, the hotel is a franchise. When I complained at the hotel and got nowhere, I contacted Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and after I had been home a week was told "The best resolution would be achieved by direct communication between the property management, ------ and yourself." In other words, they know the hotel hasn’t done anything, they know you are no longer there in person, and they wash their hands of one of their own hotels using the excuse of it being a franchise. If they cared about their reputation, they would ACT so that franchisees don’t bring the brand itself into disrepute. Clearly they don’t care about their reputation which is why their Trustpilot rating is only one star; doubtless it would be lower if we were able to give people zero stars.
I will never stay at a Wyndham Hotel again—DO SO AT YOUR PERIL.
Basic but clean rooms – beware of parking process
We stayed at Ramada by Wyndham London Stansted Airport. The room itself was clean and adequate for a short stay. However, guests should be aware that the hotel does not have its own car park but instead relies on a private facility managed by Parkingeye. Signs at the entrance and outside the hotel state that vehicle registration must be given to reception at check-in.
In our case, we provided the registration on a note and discussed parking with the receptionist, who acknowledged we had arrived by car and even initially requested the parking fee (later waived as our booking included it). When we asked if anything further was required, we were told no. Unfortunately, the registration was never entered into the system, which later led to a penalty notice.
While we recognize we could have copied the registration number onto the form ourselves, it was reasonable to assume from the discussion that the receptionist had recorded it correctly. For future guests, I would strongly recommend double-checking that your car details are properly logged to avoid similar issues.
Stay away from Wyndham Gardens San Diego
Unsafe, unresponsive, and unacceptable
I had to cut my stay short at Wyndham Garden San Diego due to serious safety concerns—open drug use and criminal activity in the parking lot made it impossible to feel secure, especially while traveling with my elderly mother and young daughter. One man was openly using drugs beside our car.
Despite assurances from the front desk that a refund for unused nights would be handled via Booking.com, no progress has been made for the past three weeks. Booking.com can't reach the hotel manager, and Wyndham’s customer care line leads to a full voicemail inbox. No one is taking responsibility. Wyndham HQ suggested I call the hotel to resolve. Even the letter to the IR/CEO flagging these serious concerns with the property went nowhere.
This property is a safety hazard and Wyndham’s lack of response is deeply disappointing. After days and hours on the phone with the booking agent and hotel, I am working with the bank to investigate and do a chargeback. Shame on you, Wyndham Hotels. For extra fun, I was asked if I want to become a member and get perks at the end of my call with their customer service.
They don’t give rewards anymore don’t…

Prabi at the front desk of Days Inn
Prabi at the front desk of Days Inn, Stuart, Florida..1200 S. Federal Hwy.. (US1),772-287-6900...She answers politely and attentively.. is the kindest, most patient person! It is very reassuring to know that such service..personal service, is still available in this world of "AI"..there is nothing artficial about Prabi or anyone at the front desk or in housekeeping, or Wilson, who does painting and repairs and goes out of his way, as they all do...to help.

Not a good place
When we checked in at the Travel Lodge Sydney Nova Scotia and got to our room, I went to wash my hands and there was no soap. The rooms were dirty and the carpets were discusting. My grandson got in the shower and the bathroom light went off, then back on, then off, then back on, but reach time the light would be off longer then the light staying on. He had to get out of the shower and all for his phone so he could use the flashlight on it. I had to do the same thing when I got in the shower. Hubby went to the front desk to let them know and they said they could give us another room but I was already in the shower at this point and we were only staying for that night so was no point in changing rooms. We went for breakfast the next morning because we were told it would be a hot breakfast which it was buttttt when we got there, there was no eggs, two small slices of ham, a few sausages and hash browns. We couldn't wait to get out of there. We will never go back again! On the plus side, the staff were friendly. We stayed from August 4th 2025 to August 5th 2025
Two iPhones were stolen from our room…
Two iPhones were stolen from our room during our stay at this hotel
Date of theft: 25 July 2025
Time of theft: Estimated between 19:30 and 20:00
We were at dinner at the time and had left one phone by the charging lead on in the room, and my 12 year old daughter had hidden hers under her pillow. Both phones were stolen during this interval and their location has since been showing as not available on the find my phone app. The stress and anxiety that this has caused us has been enormous. We have spent hours since following up with our network provider, bank and the local authorities on this, and our holiday has been ruined.
The hotel reception/ security has been indifferent to the point of it being suspicious. We checked that all entry points to the room were locked when we left, as we do each time we go out, and we had both our room cards with us. The only plausible explanation is that someone else at the hotel, most likely a member of staff, was able to unlock the keyless door and help themselves to our phones.
On returning to our room we immediately contacted the hotel reception to report the theft. They flat out refused our request to notify the police. They also advised us not to notify the police ourselves, giving the reason that it’s a 25 minute taxi drive to the station, it will take hours to report, and nothing will likely happen anyway if we do.
In our experience this hotel is not a safe place to be. My wife, pre-teen daughters and I spent our last night in our room here, a room which it seems a stranger/ staff member/thief can access anytime that they please, with our suitcases barracked against the door whilst we slept in case anyone tries to enter again.
I rarely write reviews of hotels that we holiday in, and if I did nearly all of them would generally be positive. However this is the only instance where I am awarding this hotel the lowest possible rating. I am expecting that they will respond to this review with more or their gaslighting garbage that they have been giving us the last couple of days, and will let the reader make a judgement on that and decide if this is the sort of establishment that they feel comfortable staying at.
We ended up checking out of this hotel early, despite it being paid for, and staying at one of the nearby Riu’s, which we finally felt safe at and has been really nice.
Never again at Days Inn
We stayed at Days Inn in Merced on July 28. When we got there we had to go to 3 different rooms to get one with a working TV. It was very noisy the whole night. The shower was dangerously slippery. No hand holds, nothing. We had to put a towel in the shower to keep from slipping. Then the next morning breakfast was between 6:00 and 9:00am. My husband and I went to breakfast at 8am. The only thing they had to offer was a piece of bread and potatoes. That was it! We asked if they were going to bring out some more food since breakfast time was for another hour and they said NO, they were done for the day. I will never stay at another Days Inn.
⚠️ WARNING
⚠️ WARNING
After completing my booking and payment, I received a message from the "host" through Booking.com’s internal messaging system asking me to confirm my reservation.
The message appeared official, came through my Booking account, and used the same style as Booking.com — which made me trust it completely and enter my card details.
SAR 983 was charged from my card by an unknown third party. Later, Booking.com admitted that the host's messages may have been compromised — yet no real solution was offered.
Additionally, the property is extremely remote — about 90 km from Salalah — with no nearby services. The overall experience doesn’t reflect a 5-star hotel at all, and there’s an obvious sense of excessive cost-cutting and limited amenities.
I strongly advise any traveler to avoid this property, and to never trust any messages after booking unless verified directly.

Stayed here with family of 4 during July 4th weekend. Booked online but front desk clerk was uncompromising to the simple reservation error and we were inconviently forced to rebook.
Then the rooms frig was broke, tv remote broke, no rags the entire stay, spotty towels, my children feet were black from the carpet, the blow dryer motor was exposed, and worse of all my wife was bit by bedbugs.
