I arranged for a delivery and they dropped the van off while we were not home. They put the paperwork in the mail slot but left no information about where the key was. This caused me to miss my ferry and lose a day of vacation time. Of course, it was my fault for not guessing where they hid the key...

Far better value than larger competitors. Good van in good condition. Convenient location.

When i spoke to them i asked various question in relate to the van hire and was given a number of answers none of which where true

Out of very many rental car proposals - I found this firm had about the best prices, for my needs and personal situation. presented in an understandable form without add-ons. The personal way that my enquiry was quickly processed was second to none. A welcome feature was the relaxed way my car was supplied to me by two charming girls, as well as the no no-fuss return of the vehicle.

The next time I visit England, this summer, my first choice will be Yellohire.

Waste of Money. The hire car company did not acknowledge Yellohire when I went to collect the vehicle, so I had to complete a new booking.. The fee paid to Yellohire is purely a booking fee, so why they call the amount paid a voucher is a puzzle. If I had used the hire car companies website to book instead of Yellohire I would have got a cheaper deal plus I would not have needed to the pay Yellohire booking fee!

I will never use them again, they have changed my double price for one day van hire and they said because I brought the van one hour late which is they’re lying I have returned one hour early,and when I told them they said to me to prove it,I have showed them the fuel receipt they did not except it and they said To prove it ,they don’t give you any prove pepper of return to show them.
I don’t recommend them to anyone

Easy and economic in comparison with other operators.

Can't get a better deal! But remember 2 read the paperwork as i refilled the tank which was my fault bcoz i didn't read properly the lease. (£72.) Excellent.

Hired a van that was shown as ok to enter West Berkshire recycling centres, only trouble was van was too high.

We booked a van for moving home from one country to another.
When went to collect van, the van company said they didn't have the van available and Yellohire and the Van company had made an admin error between them. Yellohire after some phone calls and convincing did put the situation right, but they wanted us to sort out the problem with the van company ourselves initially. I don't think I'll even use a middle man company to hire a van again, would rather go directly, even if it costs more. We could have been stranded at a Ferry Port all night with our whole worldly belongings in a car park. Never risk it for anything important. Sorry to have experienced this.

Easy online process, competitive prices and (unfortunately) I even rested their damage charges as I foolishly managed to break the side mirror (my fault) and the charge was reasonable (relative to rental companies) and did not consume the whole deposit.

Attempted an online booking of a van on a Friday for 08:00 collection Monday but told on the telephone that they could only provide from 09:00, which was okay so I accepted and subsequently received a booking confirmation.
On turning up to collect (from Avis) on the Monday morning discovered that no van had been provided (and no communication from Yellohire) . Until this point I was not aware they were only a booking agent and does not appear to have it's own vehicles.
The collection agent was already aware of the non-availability and surprised to see me. Fortunately the very helpful lady knew the number for Glenrental in Carlisle who I subsequently rented a vehicle from directly (and at 10% cheaper than Yellohire).
Shows that top of the Google listing does not always reflect standard of service or value for money. I know where I'll be going next time.

Booking was easy, but only after this was done was it apparent that the van was being provided by AVIS/BUDGET. Pricing competitive. Van available was larger/longer than booked. Not a real problem but beware. Additional CDW was also better than AVIS standard rates. AVIS operator could not explain breakdown of charges as 'hidden' from their view - only the total. All turned out OK in the end.
