DO NOT JOIN FOR POOL ACCESS! They will tell you it is open ALL DAY EVERY DAY until closure in late September or early October when in reality it is NOT open except for 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. They also charge an entire MONTH fee for registration! They do not care at all about customer satisfaction. When I complained I was told too bad, I "should have read ALL the posted material in the lobby to protect myself from their policy changes!" RIP OFF!

Put in a formal complaint against an angry and aggressive charity shop manageress in Harpurhey, Manchester, UK. Although they said they'd investigate I heard nothing afterwards. They're obviously looking after their own. Incidentally their prices are above other charity shops so better to look around.

My parent got hurt because of some lousy kids so pushed her over and stole her spot. And you should be ashamed of yourself for that behavior you guy allow. Although I think the pools are great but you still need to maintain the behavior you allow.

Praying for all who walk through the doors and those who sit behind a desk to greet them. This organization has been a blessing to me and it was one that brought comfort to my grown sons knowing that although their mother was in another state; she was safe. I thank my God In Heaven for you all 💜🙏

They let grown men, sometimes wearing lipstick, in the locker rooms with little/ under aged girls. And vise versa.

Fantastic little gym. Cheap warm and welcome. If you want to just get on with your gym sessions , then this is the place for you. The gym is small , with some older equipment, "but hey" , a treadmill is a treadmill ah , they all do the same thing. Small changing rooms but again , it has everything you need. This YMCA GYM in Cambridge is open 24 hours a day. Free trials , so you can try before you buy. Apart from everything aforementioned, the staff , and other gym users are all friendly. If you feel u comfortable with going to the gym , then you won't here. Having been to many gyms , this quiet , quaint little gym , has everything one could want.

YMCA need to do a better job at controlling the quality of their locations - Cook County YMCA is a total disaster.Was wearing a sports top (mind you everyone walking around in their swimming gear) and got told to put on a "top". Would give a zero. Get with the times YMCA. will never return to this old, basic gym. Also sent an email earlier in the week with questions - was never responded to! They have a big sign saying everyone is welcome - apparently not everyone is welcome. Terrible YMCA-Did not expect body shaming from a gym that espouses to welcome everyone - apparently not. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

I used to take swim classes at the YMCA in Columbus, GA when I was a toddler. I enjoyed it, but when it came to the instructors, my parents and I were less than satisfied. The instructors were often on their cellular devices and didn't seem to care about the children. The instructors cared so little, that a little boy started drowning, and no one noticed. My father had to rescue him. I do not recommend sending your children to the YMCA for swimming class. (The date options didn't go far back enough, so I just put a random date.)

It took a visit and four phone calls to start my silver sneakers membership and separate my wife. Their employees are robots. No one cares to help or communicate with customers. Looking for an altetnative. This was the experience at the Mt Pleasant WI. Seal Branch.

I think that the Y down the street from us in NYC is pretty clean and the equipment is in decent shape. I don't go there expecting a LA fitness type experience, I go there expecting the Y type environment which I find very welcoming. I love the steam room and jacuzzi at the one uptown, and I think the staff does a great job operating it, because I know it is a lot of work.

Ormond Beach YMCA has state of the art equipment, exceptionally clean and well run, fair prices and helpful staff. Been to many but this one really stands out. equipment far exceeds whats available at local franchises

YMCA is the worse place to take a fitness qualification. I paid for the level 3 yoga qualification and I completed all my work by the deadline which involved seated exams, live assessments and loads of course work. They replied to say that everything needed to be marked by the deadline. Which makes no sense because how I can I account for the time which it takes for them to mark my work and give me a result by the deadline date. It could be many months for them to mark and send me a result. All through school and university a deadline date meant a hand in date, it’s completely crazy that I would somehow need to account for time for them to mark it and send it back. When I did a qualification with another provider it took 5 months for them to mark and send me the result. How could I possibly know when I would need to send in the work and get it all back to me and marked before the deadline. All the work that I did now has been voided even though I completed every part of the course. The worse experience iv ever had it’s so upsetting.

This review is for the guest rooms at the WESTSIDE YMCA in New York City only.
Positives: perfect location in Manhattan; near all public transportation, Central Park, Lincoln Center; Columbus Circle; near theatre district and Times Square; guests have full use of YMCA facilities...gym, sauna, lockers, pool; finally, best price for domicile in NYC.

Negatives: small, spartan rooms ,(expected)...no convenient outlets to charge cell phones or laptops; no basic amenities like ice machines,coffee/tea for guests, no vending machines for snacks, no microwaves...must go outside for EVERYTHING.
Some staff indifferent, even surly (not the front desk staff); common lounge areas are drab and with uncomfortable seating (spaces need fresh paint with bright colors and comfortable, inviting seating and tables.
