Hi, John thanks for your response. However, this is not strictly true. You didn't cancel it because of the soil. Nobody from Zenith or any third party ever examined the soil. What was mentioned was that we are within 200 metres of the sea. In fact we have the same soil type as most of Southsea, including where the run-down Zenith office/showroom is. I contacted my local building standards agency/local council regarding this matter. They informed me that every conservatory down mt street had normal foundations installed. Zenith wanted to install a raft foundation which would have increased the cost by only £3000. Not the £12000 you did increase the price by. The other £9000 was due to the fact that Terry reduced the quality of the installation to reduce the price after speaking to his manager, therefore to get me to sign. So he reduced the price and quality, without telling me he reduced the quality. This was identified by the surveyor, he called Terry. Terry responded there would be not price increase, this is written on my contract, and signed by the surveyor.

So your response is not true, i understand that you want other customers who read this, to think that Zenith did nothing wrong. However, we all know that is not the case.

The whole company is incompetent, nobody seems to know what to do, you are just lied to at every point, nobody takes any responsibility, your staff just pass the buck, you are ignored, you don'y get a phone call when you are told you will (not the time of it, you just don't get one). We never get the truth, this has been the case with your response.

Why did it take 6 weeks after the surveyors visit for me to find out about the additional costs? This was after 2 weeks of me calling Zenith. And when i did get the information, it was by text.

Why did no regional manager contact me? Surely they would be shocked by this!!!!!!! Customers informed of cost creases by text, customers ignored by staff at portsmouth branch, customers lied to. Or is this standard Zenith, I personally think it is. This is what Zenith does all the time, if it wasn't somebody would want to talk to me about it. They never did, i asked numerous times to be called. You even told me you passed my issues to the regional manager. They never bothered to contact me. I am still prepared and would like to discuss this issue with somebody, if they can be bothered to.I would like to find out the truth, what actually happened, what actually went wrong.

Awful! They talked their way into my house when I was not home and my partner was alone. They then proceeded to call him every day multiple times a day to book when they could come over when we were both home. Despite my partner advising we were no longer interested. Multiple zenith staff have then called his called mobile several times a day, he has continued to tell them we are no longer interested. He blocks each number but they still manage to call on different numbers! Andrew Earl called us at 8.45pm on a Wednesday evening! Was extremely rude and kept talking over me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL HARASS YOU UNTIL YOU GIVE IN.

Big Mistake. Having had Zenith windows many years ago that were great but became discoloured over time we decided on replacing them with Zenith. This was a big mistake, the quality of the finished product in my opinion was far inferior to the original product. Long time to deliver. I am not impressed with customer service or their attitude, several service managers have come and gone with promises of additional items replaced if I signed the windows off. Which I refuse to do. Large proportion of costs paid, now being aggressively chased for final payment. After several visits made to resolve issues and a missed appointment I was informed no compensation for any of this even when I had to take time away from work, the actual Window manufacturer visited who in his opinion stated nothing was wrong - I disagree, hence Big Mistake. Actual fitters were great.

Great company having more work done by them, salesman really good knew his stuff and very helpful in understanding our needs. Products are the best I've seen for what I need and have a good warranty. Would absolutely recommend Zenith for any home Improvement work.

I am absolutely disgusted by the treatment of my 82 year old father by Zenith. He had a call basically saying could they come and quote for him as it would improve his targets at a meeting. Someone paid my father a visit and quoted him £10000 for garage door, back door and window all of which he didn't want done. When he tried to explain he was doing them a favour and he didn't want it done they then said they could do it for £5000 and tried to get him to sign. Luckily he didn't but is still getting phone calls. This is taking advantage of the vulnerable and elderly and I will be taking this further

till waiting for the damage caused to my ceiling by the installation to be repaired!!!

Working at zenith was the worse mistake I have made out of my 22 years of living. When I first applied I got promised the ‘marketing & promotions manager’ role... however after 2 weeks of working (within these 2 weeks I was getting nothing but positive feedback) they got someone else in to take that position, this person messed them around on 3 occasions, worked when he wanted to, kept leaving the company and coming back, he was still picked over me... because he was previously friends with Terry, the go to guy for the marketing side of the business. They did not treat all their employees equally, it was clear they had their favourites.

Although we were legally classed as self employed, and not legally contracted to work any hours, they still insisted we worked 9+ hours a day (with no means of getting food or drink unless we had our own money) and threatened to sack us if we didn’t work till 1830-1900, baring in mind we spent our whole shift outside (whatever the weather conditions) walking around all day. If we needed a day off, they would make it so difficult for us. Even when someone was ill, they’d make us feel so bad, they’d make us feel like we were doing something wrong by not coming in, due to sickness.

Terry on several occasions would earn his money for the day, then go to the pub... a lot of the senior managers also bragged to me about taking class A drugs on shift, in the back of the work van (which was sign written) then they would go and talk to members of the public, on their door steps. All canvassers were told not to worry about paying our tax, I quote from one of the senior mangers... “don’t worry about doing your tax, no one in the company does, there’s people here who haven’t paid tax for years and they still get away with it, so I wouldn’t bother” when it also came to paying wages, if we had a day off, they would refuse to pay us, or they would cut our money down to the bare minimum.

On three occasions I asked Mick Howlett (the site manager) for a copy of the contract of my employment... every time he put it off, either he was ‘too busy’ or he would say tomorrow, and tomorrow never came. Terry Santry and Mick Howlett were the main issues when I was working for zenith, they created the stress and tension between the team. Terry was earning overwrites, from me, and 4 other canvassers, so when we didn’t come in, he would take it personally because he would not be able to make any money from us that day (even though we were self employed and not contracted to work any specific hours). When terry got his team around him, he would drop us in a random area (which we wouldn’t know) then go back to the office for the whole day whilst we’d be walking around for 9+ hours, he would then pick us up at the end of the day, we had no means of, food, water or even warmth.

The way the company acted with customers were disgusting as well, ripping vulnerable people off, and the older generation of the public too. I once heard Terry say on someone’s door “why don’t you hurry up and die you old git” all because the older gentleman wouldn’t take a free quote for new windows... terry then spat on his drive and walked off. If you read other reviews on zenith, it’s clear to see the sales reps are bullies...

Please take the time to read this review, as Mick Howlett and Terry Santry tricked me into working for zenith, they promised a basic wage, but then when I started I got told only commission, they tell you what you want to hear, then when they have you it all changes. I left on my own accord, I found a better job, which turned Terry very sour (taking it personally again) so I did not leave on good terms. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ZENITH, ID RATHER BE FLIPPING BURGERS MY WHOLE LIFE THAN WORKING FOR ZENITH ‘THE COWBOY HOME IMPROVERS’

installation very good, cleaned up the best they could considering the weather.

Having had our windows and doors replaced with Zenith product 32 years ago, and having never had a problem with them, we naturally turned to Zenith for our new patio doors.

Again, they have provided us with a good product at a very reasonable price and with quick installation. One glass panel had to be replaced as it was dirty on the inside, but this was done quickly and efficiently.

Zenith are well worth considering if you have need of their products.

Make sure that you get the correct workmanship zenith do not take notice of what you are asking them. I had windows but they did not give me all the keys to them I keep calling them and I do not get the keys. I will not choose zenith ever again

Having bought the previous windows from Zenith 30 years ago and thinking it time to upgrade to a more modern standard.
The staff were extremely courteous, helpful and efficient.
Only one minor niggle get your computer service established nationwide in all your offices so there is no duplication.
The installation team were quick, clean and had the job done well.

A great service was given by everyone and the new doors and windows are fantastic

Guys did a very professional job which looks great.

Their product is very good, but my latest experience with them has been anything but, their customer care is sadly lacking, they never returned a 'phone call although they said every time I 'phoned that they would reply tomorrow, I lost count of the number of times I 'phoned. Payed a deposit in November last year, the product was fitted in April. & I didn't get an apology.

Windows are lovely wasn't happy with the contractors at first but rectified all their problems so satisfied now

The product is excellent and communication from the company was timely and well-informed.
