Poor food, overrpriced.

We booked a table at the Sutton "restaurant" for a family birthday which included young children. There were nine of us and only one plate of (stale) nibbles was brought to the table. Seriously, would have been better to go without. My meatball starter was hardly lukewarm and it took so long to get a replacement that most of the rest of our party had finished their meals. The aubergine fritti were little more than shrivelled tiny pieces of aubergine. The "kids eat free" offer required downloading an app - obviously so Zizzi get hold of your data. Two of us had no success with the app but one of our party had a different discount. I still haven't been able to work out the discounted prices. I have to add that the staff and customer service were excellent, and definitely went the extra mile for us. My meatballs were not charged for, but the food quality is not fantastic and most definitely overpriced. This more than cancels out the brilliant in-house customer service.

Zizzi meal in Guildford

The service and food were very good at the Guildford Zizzi, and Millie, our waitress, was charming, very attentive, and efficient.
Excellent service and a lovely meal.

The Worst Restaurant for Delivery Drivers in Colchester!

If you order from or dine at Zizzi (Colchester), you should know how appallingly and inhumanely they treat delivery drivers. For the past year, UberEats, JustEat, and Deliveroo couriers have been subjected to degrading and discriminatory treatment by the management and staff.

Delivery drivers are strictly banned from using the main entrance. Instead, we are forced to wait at the back gate on the street, right next to the commercial rubbish bins (as you can see in the attached photo). We are made to stand outside in freezing 2-3 degree temperatures, rain, and harsh weather for 15-20 minutes. The doorbell provided is highly unresponsive, has a long cooldown, and staff intentionally ignore it.

On the evening of March 25th, a female courier waited for 20 minutes in the freezing cold with no response. Out of desperation, she went to the main entrance simply to ask about the order status. Instead of helping, a male staff member was incredibly rude, aggressive, and flat-out refused to hand over the customer's food simply because she used the main door after being ignored outside.

We are working professionals, not second-class citizens. Forcing us to wait on the public street next to unhygienic bins without providing a proper waiting area is a direct breach of UK Health and Safety regulations.

I urge other drivers to be very careful before accepting orders from this branch. And to the customers: please think twice before supporting a business that treats hard-working people with such extreme disrespect and hostility.

Had a take away for the wife on…

Had a take away for the wife on mother's day. The bill was over £100 and delivered by Uber eats. The food was cold, there was a dish missing and a vegetarian meal was delivered with a large piece of palma ham on top. When we complained they insulted us with an £8 refund and said the case was closed. Don't not use, absolute culinary crap.

Went on Valentines day Nottingham

Went on Valentines day Nottingham. Checked in , were taken to table.3 tables sat down after us, were given snacks. We were waiting. App not working tried to get staffs attention who were cleaning tables . Told someone would come , waited, looked for someone. No one came. Went upstairs and left. Email received asking about experience, no service no food.Received email Sunday with promise of call from Tom operations manager,3 second ring Monday. No voice mail or email left. Tried 2 weeks later. Nothing. Left messages at Head Office, no response. Tried HO again. No response. Called Nottingham spoke with James, who said his manager Tom would call after 4. Still waiting. Appalling lack of service and respect from all departments. Should not be in business at all.No respect for paying customers who keep them in a job.Waste of time and effort to get into Nottingham. Will tell friends never to go there. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Norwich Zizzi’s a disappointing visit!

Visited the Norwich branch of Zizzi’s on Saturday 14.03.2026, had a booking which I pushed back by 30 mins earlier that day, we were given the choice of 3 tables, all of which required staff or patrons to walk past constantly, my brother ordered the chilli king prawn and I had the beef ragu, when our food arrived it was clear that mine had been kept “warm” whilst his was cooked, it seemed to have been microwaved prior to being sent out which resulted in hot spots and cold areas, I didn’t complain as we only had a hour to eat prior to attending an event which was approximately a 10 minute walk away so didn’t have time to wait again for our food! My brother said his food was ordinary but his dessert was very nice, the mocktails were delicious but overpriced at £5.95 each, our waiter Guy was very pleasant but all in all I would not return, in fact I was booked in for this coming Wednesday but have now cancelled and will be going elsewhere! A disappointing visit!!

We were lucky enough to get a window table as requested. Felt lucky to get Julia again , she is such a lovely person, her service was spectacular and made you feel comfortable and well looked after. She served with a smile and a little chat ,
The food again was outstanding. Highly recommend the duck dish.

Our first time visiting Manchester…

Our first time visiting Manchester Piccadilly and we had a really lovely evening 20/02/26 table of 5… for starters the garlic bread bomb is something else omg how nice 😋 also the duck in hot honey was just beautiful other family members really rated their pizzas too, tiramisu and candy floss dolce desserts were very nice too would definitely return and highly recommend. the service was excellent

Southampton Westquay Excellent

Southampton Westquay. We visited 4 adults a wheelchair and a baby with a pushchair.
We were celebrating a birthday so decided on Zizzi as they had 50% off mains.
The staff were amazing, very attentive, food was amazing very hot.
We had a great time thank you

Nice evening at lakeside

My husband and I went to the lakeside branch on 3rd Feb. The place was stylish and had a relaxing atmosphere. The food was really nice, best pizza I had ever had, it was so thin. We had a lovely server called Jacek and he was friendly, really helpful, especially in regards to the Zizzi app. He went out of his way to tell us about it and help us with it and was attentive throughout the evening. We will definitely go back again.

Basic meals poor quality

Hadn't been to a Zizzi in years, so was looking forward to our visit to the one in Milton Keynes centre. We chose lasagna and Spag Bol - basic Italian meals. The Lasagna used flavourless cheese and white sauces (pretty sure they were bought/jar) and the spag bol was over starchy so that the spaghetti 'clumped' together. So disappointing. Our waitress was lovely but we won't be choosing Zizzi for dinner any time soon.

Probably the worst meal we've had out, the portion sizes are shocking, we went for the 3 course for £30, service was that slow we didn't get chance to order our deserts as we had to be somewhere, literally sat for 40 minutes with empty plates, still charged for 3 courses, all food was so bland, I had the beef ragu just like something I can knock up at home, my 2 boys had calamari literally 5 little sticks 15 quid! We left £130 down and still hungry will never go to a zizzi again ill be sharing on SM with 50k followers

Terrible experience

Well what can I say….Stockport

No staff; well one and a half, freezing cold and messy. There were 12 of us all nurses only booked Zizzis because we had blue light discount of 30%. We also wanted to order our drinks individually but were told there was no bar staff to facilitate this so had to put it on the bill which was award as we were not all drinking. The main waitress was unbelievably busy not only serving the restaurant but also sorting takeaways ( you would think they would stop takeaways with a full restaurant and when they didn’t have time to tidy up the tables or bar area). One meal has hair in it and one meal was cold. The rest of the food was ok I could not fault it. When we came to pay we were told the discount is only for 6 people not 12 so we asked if we could split the bill into two tables of 6. No that’s not allowed. Well then just discount 6 of us. No that’s not allowed either. We asked to speak to the manager and the waitress said there wasn’t one so she was probably the manager. We definitely wouldn’t have booked if we knew they were so ridged. There’s 12 people who won’t be back.

Deceived - beware of 'Offers'!

Feel so ripped off!! Their 'Zillionaire' club advertised 30% off food during January, so we decided to take advantage of this on my birthday. On arrival in the chilly resturant (a couple of diners were wearing coats!) we were given their 'Set Menu' to choose from. We duly made our choices and enjoyed the meal. However the bill charged us FULL PRICE. When we questioned this, we were shown that hidden deep in the T&C's the offer did not apply to 'Set Menus’!! Of course obviously had we known this BEFORE ordering, we would never have chosen from the Set Menu in the first place!!
Really put a downer on the evening, a bad taste in the mouth that destroyed the good one the meal and initially provided. However, lesson learned, I shall never go back there again.

I ordered Zizzi to be delivered to my…

I ordered Zizzi to be delivered to my house in Lancaster UK. I only live several minutes away and yet every time I order from Zizzi delivery, I am always hugely disapointed! I've ordered from Zizzi tons of times and each time the pizza arrives COLD. Stone baked STONE COLD!!! And the pasta is basically tasteless! I thought Four Cheese Carbonara was meant to taste of cheese and smoke flavor (Not even a slight taste of cheese or smoke flavor!) And they always forget something from the order (Such as dips or in this case the Riserva Cheese Crisp which is part of the pasta!)
The only good thing about the meal was the king prawn (Which to tell you the truth I am vegetarian and just felt sorry for the death of the prawn at the hands of Zizzi and wanted to take the innocent baby prawn into my heavenly body and give it a final resting place after it likely endured panic, suffering and pain before being a garnish on a tasteless pasta dish)
Is it really worth killing animals and eating them? I can tell you now out of the 15 times I've ordered from Zizzi for delivery every time the food arrives cold (The pastas arrive warm or hot even thanks to a plastic lid but they are about as tasteless as a supermarket microwave pasta sadly)
I imagine to dine in their restaurant would be a different story as the food would be hotter and it would get the full works with trimmings. I know that the delivery isn't taken care of to the same degree!
