As all the other 1 star reviews show this company provides a horrible experience. Been almost 4 months and I have continually gotten the runaround. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone for any reason at this point. Looks like I’ll have to file a charge back with my credit card company. I don’t see how they’ll stay in business with how they currently run things.

High Quality Mats

These are high quality mats. I ordered the Double Layer Diamond Pattern for my 2023 BMW 550i. They fit precise and look fantastic. The staff worked with me to ensure a perfect fit. The logo is embroidered as well. You won't be disappointed. I ordered grey mats to break up the black. The grey was a bit too light for me, so I reordered black carpets and will keep the grey for ack up. Thanks X1 Mats.

I dont recommend this company

I dont recommend this company, they are very Shady . waiting 3 months for my mats, sent tracking number with no scans for 3 weeks, untrustworthy.

update received a call from the manager Chris who promised my order would ship by 3/18 and i will see tracking by 3/20, its now 3/20 a called back in the person who answered the phone told me the same story i have been hearing for the last month, i was told by chris that DHL returned the package to them thats why the the tracking number they provided me on the 4th is not showing movement, he told me Dhl would repick up the package on 3/18 and will for sure see tracking on 3/20. i have never heard of DHL collecting a packing without one scan once again this company seems to unreputable. i will keep everyone posted when and if i ever receive my mats. i believe i may have to take this a step further, because i refuse to give my money away.

The product is great

The product is great. My mats brought extra "Class" to my S-Class Mercedes! When anyone open a door, any door, there's a definite WoW reaction. The mats were easy to install and cleaning them is a breeze.

Fast reply, bad service.

I got a response after asking about a refund very quickly. The request was however denied with promises of shipping soon, that was at 6 months. Now at 7 months and multiple emails and unsolicited advertisement emails... I asked again with a new service member. Again giving the same excuses and assuring a swift shipment.
2 stars for acting like a car dealership hounding like crazy and great advertisements. They also stay on top of negative reviews, citing the same excuses and how they've tried to work with people. I dont want to feel important or to be told it's in the interest of a perfect product. I want the product and an accurate time frame. I do not want excuses. I want a refund. I do not want to be told to be patient. Unfortunately I've decided this is a wash and I'll never recover my funds. Going somewhere else for mats. Stay away from this company.

I ordered mats for my BMW

I ordered mats for my BMW. Spent close to $600 on the mats. The mats took roughly two weeks to receive they went in the car beautifully all floorboards and trunk they look amazing. The issue was with the warranty exchange. I called to let them know my mats had war and a tear in them. Sounded like a quick rebuild Matt and send out. I have been waiting almost 7 months for the warranty repair to come in so I can put it in my car. I have talked to customer service maybe 10 times over the last several months. It is always the same thing. They will not give me any information this is turned into a awful experience for me. Please read the reviews before buying from them it is a lot of money to spend and the warranty repair is a gimmick.

I ordered some custom seat coverts for my 2012 Camaro ss , the following morning I received a call from Maverick from X1MATS . He wanted to go over my order to make sure about all the colors and options I chose were correct. He was very knowledgeable about the process that made me very assure that my seat covers were gonna be the exactly what I'm expecting . I am looking forward to receiving them . I do have the X1MATS floor mats and I love them ! VERY WELL MADE AND A PERFECT FIT !!

The company gives same answer when you…

The company gives same answer when you report and dispute the original charge with the credit company. After multiple non-responses, once the dispute is filed for non-delivery, they suddenly contact you to say that the items are ready for immediate delivery after 3 months. You just have to cancel the dispute for them to ship it immediately. I don’t believe them and told them they can charge the credit sit card again after they give me the shipping number.. I got silence. I think this company takes your money upfront and probably investing it while you wait 3-6 months for the item that never gets delivered. It’s interest free money for them.

We’d like to clarify a few important points for transparency.

Your order was completed and released for shipment. A DHL tracking number was provided, and the package was dispatched.

However, once a chargeback is filed, our payment processor automatically restricts the transaction. We are legally and contractually unable to process, collect, or re-charge payment while an active dispute is open. This is not discretionary — it is a banking compliance requirement.

We did not request cancellation of the dispute to delay shipment. We explained that an active chargeback creates a payment conflict that prevents standard processing. Despite this complication, your order was still shipped, and tracking was provided.

The suggestion that we “invest customer funds” or intentionally delay delivery is simply inaccurate. X1Mats has been operating since 2019, producing custom-made interior products, and we do not benefit from delays or disputes in any way.

We regret that your experience led to this level of distrust. Operational delays during peak periods did occur, and we have since implemented structural improvements within production scheduling and customer support to prevent recurrence.

We wish you the best moving forward.

22 Ford Explorer ST custom designed mats

I ordered some custom design mats from X1 mats for my 22' Ford Explorer ST. I was a little skeptical but when Maverick whom I was first dealing with was calling me to go over details and sending pics back and forth assured me I was dealing with a reputable company. yes the order took some time but i was in no rush. Once I received them< there was a fitment problem between the 2nd and third row. I have 2nd row captain seats which I specified in the order but the second row was made for bench seat so there was no coverage in between. when i called the back and sent pics to show this, they apologized for the mistake but assured me they would fix it. They told me to just keep the ones I have and they'd redo the 2nd and 3rd row to correct the fitment. I understand mistakes happen and they held true to their name to make it right, which they did. I was truly impressed. the second order came not long after and was done right. I really love the mats. They look awesome. the special details I requested were all done the way I asked and look great. In the end, I'm very happy with the great service and quality of this company. I should also mention that Drake helped out with getting my order corrected and was top notch in making thigs right.
would definitely deal with them again. thanks to the team at X1!

Very disappointed

I placed my order for my mats in November of 2025 and still haven't received them. Every time I call all they do is lie about my order. And they won't refund my money. So I don't advise anyone to shop with this company

Ordered in Aug its now Jan and still…

Ordered in Aug its now Jan and still getting run around. Trying to get refund but being told has to go to upper management.. they keep blaming DHL
EDIT: Its now February 4th and still nothing has been done. $1000 not refunded. No emails no calls, Nothing.
This is the worst company ever to deal with.
EDIT 2.. Feb 19 Still nothing no contact nothing. its like we have to chase them down to get anywhere

Well after reading the 1 star reviews

Well after reading the 1 star reviews, I see a common theme with X1 which used to be F1 mats. They are running out of letters to rename themselves. I'm sure they will become Z1 mats soon. It appears they use the same excuses to every issue. Tarrif issues, shipping issues, Dubai issues. Zero accountability, and they almost never return calls or emails. I have left multiple messages as they no longer answer their phone. They even sent me the wrong color and the mats don't even come close to fitting the vehicle. I sent them photos and videos and months have gone by with no answers. I guess it's time for small claims court on this, as they seem uninterested in resolving the issue.

Yes, X1Mats was formerly known as F1Mats. This was a deliberate rebrand that took place as we expanded our product line beyond floor mats, adding premium interior accessories such as seat covers and additional customization options. The rebrand reflects growth, not instability. We’ve been in continuous operation since April 2019, serving customers worldwide for nearly 7 years.

Regarding communication, our records show that we have remained actively in contact with you throughout this process. While there can occasionally be a 1–2 business day delay due to volume or time zones, we do not ignore customers or avoid follow-ups.

On the color issue:

1. The color you originally selected became temporarily out of stock, and this was communicated to you.

2. We discussed alternatives while waiting for restock.

3. Unfortunately, a factory-side fulfillment error resulted in the wrong color being shipped, something that was not intended for your order.

Once you informed us, we took responsibility immediately and confirmed that a replacement in your preferred color would be produced, and as soon as you approve the custom design, we will share with you soon. That replacement is being custom-manufactured specifically for your vehicle, which will also resolve the fitment concerns you mentioned.

This is not a case of “zero accountability.” A mistake occurred, it was acknowledged, and a corrective solution was put into motion. That is accountability.

Delays related to custom manufacturing, international logistics, or government regulations are not excuses, they are realities of producing premium, made-to-order products rather than mass-produced items. What matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong, and in this case, we responded with transparency and action.

We remain available to you and fully intend to complete the replacement as discussed.

Lack of Communication - Still have not received order placed in Aug

Hi, sharing for awareness. Do not order from this company. At first, I thought they were decent. I ordered mats for my Audi in 8/16/24 and am still waiting. I have been in contact with representatives since October regarding my order. I spoke with a manager on Friday who lied and said the order would be updated this past Saturday. I have a tracking number that was created and has not moved since 12/5. The company said that DHL has the mats. But when I called DHL support number, they stated that they had not received the product from the company. This company is not truthful! Horrible communication about the order. No movement on tracking since 12/5 is overseas.

First, this was not a lack of communication. Our team has been in contact with you since October, including a direct conversation with a manager. At no point were updates ignored or withheld.

Your order, like all X1Mats products, is custom-made to order. During this period, we experienced an unforeseen surge in order volume, which extended production timelines. This was communicated to you.

Regarding shipping:

1. Your order was completed and handed over for shipment, and a tracking number was created on 12/5.

2. The delay you’re seeing is not from X1Mats, but from DHL’s international logistics process.

3. The DHL representative you contacted was from the destination-side support, not the origin hub, which is why they could not yet see movement. This distinction was explained to you.

4. DHL did collect the shipment; the delay occurred during their international transit process, something we do not control.

It is incorrect to state that we were “not truthful.” Once a shipment is transferred to the carrier, timing and scan updates are fully dependent on the carrier, not the seller.

It is important to note that your order has since been successfully delivered. The delay was logistical in nature and outside of our control once the shipment was with the carrier.

This was also your third order with X1Mats, which clearly reflects prior trust in our products and service. Delays are never intentional, and we do not benefit from them in any way.

X1Mats has been operating for over 6 years, delivering premium, custom-made mats worldwide. While international logistics can occasionally experience delays, our commitment to transparency, communication, and quality remains unchanged.

Very poor service and assistance with…

Very poor service and assistance with my order
Placed ordered in April 2025 received delivery after 30 days
Front Row mats are fine but 2nd row and 3rd row did not fit and completely messed up
Provided videos and Photos they never replied with refund or replacement
Not happy customer at all and will not recommend them to anyone to purchase or do business with them

Your order was delivered within the expected timeframe, and when you raised concerns about the 2nd and 3rd row mats, our team reviewed the photos and videos you provided. Based on that review, the mats themselves were manufactured correctly for your vehicle. This same configuration has been produced for this model many times without fitment issues.

What we identified was an installation issue, not a manufacturing defect. Our mats are designed to replace the factory carpet, not sit on top of it. We advised removing the original carpet and making the necessary adjustments for proper installation, and we also provided guidance on how to do this correctly. Unfortunately, those steps were not followed, which led to the appearance of a fitment problem.

For this reason, the concern did not qualify for a refund or replacement under our warranty policy, which applies to verified manufacturing defects, not installation-related issues.

X1Mats has been producing custom-made mats for over 6 years, and proper installation is essential to achieving the precise fit our products are designed for. We understand how frustrating this can be, but it’s important to distinguish between a product defect and an installation requirement.
