I found excel books to be just what I needed for accounting needs for a small Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US post. Other online accounting systems were too robust and too expensive. I am glad I came across this application.

I believe the software is good and I believe the customer service is good and they respond promptly .

Good work, the account and reporting are being simplified using Excel, I hope to exploit more

Not sure I am understanding the software but can someone please tell me how to create a Purchase Order and a Sales Invoice because when I navigate to the page to do so I do not see the columns or headings that I want example for the Purchase Order tab I do not see the headings or columns to input product description, unit price, order quantity etc. I have the same problem creating a Sales Invoice. Can someone help please? I use Microsoft 365

Purchased the “software”. It’s not software at all, but an Excel spreadsheet you can create on your own. When I realized I had been misled, I immediately asked for a refund. I was told after 2 days that they “clearly” advertised it as an Excel spreadsheet. I have read the wording on their website and found Excel mentioned only once, as an “enhanced Excel spreadsheet”.

I cannot find out how to respond to your response. Have I added to my original post? This is the only reference to Excel on the website. Is where it says "Accounting Software built on Excel".

When it is really an accounting spreadsheet built for Excel. Not a software, but a spreadsheet. Seems to me to be very misleading and false advertising.

It is a wide Excel Book. I am yet to see all the facilities in this book. But looks like to result of an Expert's heard work.

Excellent solution for small businesses

I used to have challenges finding the right accounting software for my business. XcelBooks was ideal for my business, and it resolved all my business needs.

The software captures all all the financial records that is necessary in accounting systems. I like the way it is easy to navigate around the program

Since I first started using Xcelbooks I've had nothing but issues with it playing 'nice' with Excel. I store and protect data on Google Drive and was assured that this would not be an issue. I have contacted and communicated with customer support multiple times and keep getting told that there must be something wrong with my Excel version which has been confirmed to not be true. I've tried to download the file to my desktop to be used in Excel and keep getting error messages that keep me from using the program. I'm going to have to switch to another accounting system as I cannot continue to start over with a new file everytime that I want to enter transactions.

Very easy and clean lay out, I use this for my small biz to track income and expenses.
