I took the Music Marketing & Promotion, and Music Publishing, Sync & Licensing courses in October 2019.

Matthew and James are excellent tutors, and the course content is bang up to today's trends.

I'll be taking their Artist Management course next; I highly recommend SMB to acquire useful and relevant skills among likeminded creative people.

I'm just starting my career as a music manager so this course was great for me! It highlights every area of the field and gives insight to the tasks and problems that might come. The tutor has the experience to answer all questions and takes the time to do so. He teaches with an informative and humorous style to keep everyone engaged and interested. All in all it was worth every penny

When you ask the question is this the best course for me and they say yes they are being very truthful! Excellent course and tutors!

I took the Record Label course with Matt and Jack. It was hugely beneficial and taught me so much about the differences between indie labels and majors. Being on the course kickstarted me into taking on several projects in a management capacity and Matt has continued to be encouraging and supportive in that. I am planning on taking the Music Marketing and Promotion course as soon as I can make the dates work.

I've completed Artist Management and Music Marketing and Promotion short courses. I'm very happy and forever grateful to Matt for teaching in such an effective way. Everything that once had seemed so confusing, finally made sense and I learned all I needed to know, so I definitely recommend to artists, managers and anyone wanting to learn how the industry works.

Hello, my name is Gary, I,m a 56 yr old Electrician originally from Liverpool, currently working in London. Being a Sagittarian I have always held secret aspirations to be a teacher (see chinese horoscopes) / mentor of young people and get a “real buzz” to see what they can offer and achieve when given the opportunity to showcase their talent.

Over the years I have always loved music and would very much like to work in that Industry, so when at the beginning of October 2019 an internet search revealed SMB Artist Management evening course starting that same evening i knew it was an opportunity not to be missed.
After now completing the intense but hugely enjoyable course, I feel i have the knowledge and confidence to change my career path and hone my enthusiasm, drive and life skills hopefully with up and coming Artists searching for a Manager.
Matts professional and inspirational manner and “masterclass” deliveries across the month left me really looking forward to the next class.
His friendly, engaging persona really comes across and add to that his years of extensive knowledge within the industry just make the whole package a sure winner !
In the final class he made it clear the help and support was always there at the click of a button in our new successful management careers should we require such.

I came in London from Italy to study how the music industry works. I enrolled in two courses: music marketing and music publishing.
I found the courses very useful, straight to the point, with super qualified and very nice teachers. I absolutely recommend enrolment. I hope that in the future I will be able to come back and follow other courses.

On the first semester of this year (2019) I took a dozen short courses across London. Between all of them this was by far the best. Straight to the point, objective and yet stimulating discussion and thought. Matt seems to make time out of nowhere since when I look back I can`t figure out how we took this little time to learn that much content.
The reason why I`m writing this review though, is because I just got a new job in the music industry and my new employer specifically told me that it was due to the course.
To top it all up, Matt is super duper kind and still keeps in close contact to promptly help me with any doubts I may have.

I completed the artists management course recently and not only did I thoroughly enjoy it, I also learned a lot more than I thought I would learn. When I enrolled in the course I had a small amount of prior knowledge of the industry but our tutor Matt went through in great detail what we needed to know in the way that made it engaging and most importantly, very informative. Highly recommend for anyone thinking of enrolling!

I completed the artist management course in July and I’m so glad I chose to take it. Not only is the course itself really useful and full of up to date information, the support I have received after the course has been incredible. Not once have I ever felt the course leaders are not genuinely interested in my own development and their passion for the industry really shines through. If you are having any doubts about taking any of their courses, I can grantee you will not regret choosing to take the course.

I came over from Germany to take Courses and was floored by the information and Professional Transparency at which Matt provided. I could've been earning money sooner and saved myself a few mistakes had I done Courses sooner. These courses provide a clear insight into How the Business works and whether your a Muscian who Manages Band or you want to get into Artist/Event Management smb I highly recommend. Matt really explains and presents in a cool manner and his passion for Artist Management is contagious😎 I looked a while for courses that were affordable but also presented from Instructors from the Business, smb more than filled my expectations.

I traveIed from Belgium to London to take this course last week and that gave me a really good insight of the working of the industry and a lot of motivation to follow this direction for my future career.
