This year was our fourth time booking a boat with yachting.com and we never had any problems with the chartered boats. But this year we first complained about the technical state and cleanliness of the boat and were disappointed by the yachting.com attitude in the whole thing.

All our complaints were elaborately described and documented. There were problems that couldn't be documented (such as late check-in or missing equipment), but there were also problems that are very easy to prove (missing underwater lights that were advertised).

What employees of yachting.com did was to simply forward the list of our complaints to the company, and receive reply, which was then sent to us with a comment that they are sorry they couldn't negotiate anything better.

The funniest thing is that the charter company instead of acknowledging their mistakes accused us of catching a rope in the propeler and damaging the boat. This is ridiculous — not only I'm sure we would notice something like that, but also, why didn't they tell us during the checkout? The reply from the charter company didn't contain a single piece of evidence.

I will think twice before booking with yachting.com in the future, because if they are not ready to be more helpful in these situations, there is nothing more they can offer to us besides upselling insurance.

I highly recommend Yachting.com they have been excellent right from the very start in helping secure the right boat all the way to resolving some issues I had with the actual Charter Company. Yachting.com are like the booking.com of the Yacht Charter world and link the Charter company with customers. The fact that they stayed fully involved until issues with the Charter Company were resolved was highly appreciated and for me is a stand out point in terms of high quality client service, which is sadly lacking is so many businesses these days. Bardzo niska jakość obsługi. Po dokonaniu rezerwacji na stronie próbowali podnieść cenę o 150 e. Trzeba było wyjasniac i udowadniac własciwa cene czarteru. Na miejscu okazało się , że jacht był bardzo wyeksploatowany z podartymi żaglami. Na koniec próbowali nas obciążyć 3000 e za rzekome rozdarcie żagla. Na szczęście mieliśmy zdjęcia więc nie udało im się wyremontować tej zdezelowanej łódki naszym kosztem. Generalnie nie polecam, pierwszy i ostatni raz dokonywałem rezerwacji przez ten portal.

Renting and advertising boats that are not fit for purpose. Do not trust this company or management, broken windows, toilets that had not been emptied (I kid you not) broken fridge, no chairs to sit on, no cover or awning to hide from sun, no pillow cases - paid over 6,000 euro - Even after highlighting all of these issues and request a 5% reimbursement they did not listen. Rent from Istion direct and remove this ineffective middle man yachting.com from the sector.

The team at yachting.com is helpful, and their website is great, but as an American customer, there were serious deficiencies that they should be much more upfront about. The website indicated that deposit insurance was included with the purchase, but it didn't cover an American purchaser. I got an email indicating that I didn't get the included insurance after id made the first payment on the contract, and nothing more, despite asking for some kind of refund for insurance costs. There were also hidden costs that you only find out about after making a booking on the website.
Finally, after finalizing the booking and payment and getting close to the charter timing, Yachting.com essentially left me hanging - slow or no responses to email requests. Thankfully I reached out the the charter company that my charter was actually with, and had an excellent experience with them directly. Do yourself a favor and do some research to find charter companies in the area you're planning to go, and deal with them directly from the start.

I did give yachting.com this feedback in an after-charter survey and to their credit they did respond to apologize. They even offered a €100 voucher for future charters within 6 months... But my advice above stands. I won't be taking them up on their offer, because I'll save more than that by dealing directly with charter companies.

bonjour nous avions louer un RM 1070 ( Xavier) a la rochelle nous pensions avoir louer a dream yacht entre temp cela a été racheté nous l'avons bien remarquer état des lieux du bateau au depart sommaire ( prenez des photo de tout les défauts est on fera le point) pour le depart pas de soucis par contre pour le retour inspection complete avec une facture de 2500 € , en effet nous avions fait des petite rayure mais en aucun cas autant ,que ce que le bateau présentait , il nous en envoyer un devis de leur expert qui n'est autre qu'un devis de leur propre compagnie , je pense qu'il gagne de l'argent a la location et au devis , car pour ma part a ce jour je pense que les dégâts facturés ne sont pas réalisés . . A éviter absolument cette compagnie ce n'est pas DREAM YACHT

Grande truffa tutta straniera, barca noleggiata 5 giorni tra il 28 di agosto 2022 e i primi di settembre, causa rottura di un motore me la consegnano il 2 di settembre facendomi quindi fare due giorni anzi che 5 di vacanza. Può succedere per carità, sono motori.... avevo inoltre pagato a famosa assicurazione, di fatto mi hanno rimborsato E.850 in meno in quanto hanno preso le provvigioni anche sui giorni non goduti, l'assicurazione che nonostante la preventiva comunicazione non si è potuta interrompere, di fatto è una cosa farlocca che se poi andate dopo numerose richieste a verificare la Polizza, non copre assolutamente nulla. Ho parlato con un Legale per capire il da farsi, essendo la sede di questa Società in Germania, servono E.5.000 per intraprendere una causa che non si sa quanto possa durare e l'esito. anche sulla fatturazione dell'importo pagato una comica.... Se posso dare un consiglio, noleggiate direttamente presso il cantiere Nautico che trovate in ogni porto, quanto meno saprete poi chi andare a cercare. Esperienza da dimenticare.

Der Eigner der Yacht hat das Schiff leider verkommen lassen. Bei uns waren folgende wichtige Dinge defekt, die anscheinend schon länger nicht repariert wurden: Tankanzeige zeigt immer voll, die Halterung vom Traveler hat gefährliche Risse, hintere Backbord Klampe lose, Reffleine vom Großsegel angescheuert, Navigationsgeräte im Cockpit haben einen Wackelkontakt und fallen zufällig aus, GPS-Antenne Kurzschluss, usw. Das Schiff darf so definitiv nicht verchartert werden! SUPER: Separate Duschkabine. Der Eigner soll anscheinend das Schiff verkaufen...

Achtung!!! Das ist ein Betrüger.
Wir cherterten die Yacht Pearl, oceanis 37, ab dem 17.09.2022. Erst mit Unterschrift unter 3! Contrakte und Zahlung der Kaution solte 20 min. Später die technische Übergabe erfolgen. Bis dato dürfte keiner auf das Boot, welcher im Päckchen als 3. lag.
Ergebnis, das Boot hat gravierende Mängel, der Herr Wassili war mit dem Geld weg und tauchte nicht mehr auf. Durch Kontakt mit anderen chartercrews sind gleiche Verhaltensweisen aufgetreten. Wir haben die Kaution nur mit Hilfe der Hafenpolizei zurückbekommen, wir und weitere Crews haben Anzeige wegen Betrugs bei der örtlichen Polizei gestellt. Wir haben das Boot nicht übernommen da es nicht gebrauchstüchtig ist.
Also Vorsicht bei diesem offensichtlichen Betrüger und Scharlatan.

Serious lack of maintenance to the point of being dangerous for a family charter!

NO STERN LADDER!
This was a serious issue for me and my family, especially for my 13yr and 10yr old children! Boarding the boat from the sundeck was almost impossible for me and a total no go for my wife and kids. I stopped my children from swimming for the first 3 days until a ladder had been added to the boat. I received some excuse about it being put on the wrong boat! Hopefully you can see from the pictures that the height of the sundeck over the water made it impossible to pull yourself up out of the water and I have no idea how I would have performed in a Man over Board situation with this serious safety issue!

Paddle boards with no safety leg strap!

NO KILL CORD on outboard! Just too dangerous for words! A zip tie had been used (which looked like a permanent feature) so I refused to use this for the first 3 days - I complained and a killcord was brought out to me along with some other repairs including the ladder). If I had fallen out of the tender there is a serious risk that the boat could go into a turn and I would received a propeller blade to the head over and over again!

Broken Fridge Door - which would not close (unless you used a special technique) and therefore caused food to perish quickly. This was again a lack of maintenance and abuse!

Generator and AC unit broken! the generator would run for 60 secs before the Exhaust over heated and then cut out...causing battery power issues as well as NO AIR CONDITIONING! The generator was finally fixed after day 4, so that the AC would run...however there was no AC in any cabin! I discovered the reason for this on the final day, the pipe that came off the AC Unit had been taped on and had pulled away due to a poor repair and lack of maintenance!

Velmi špatná komunikace, po přihlášení na kurz se měsíc nikdo neozval, ani neodpovídal na emaily a nepřijaté hovory a po měsíci oznámili, že je kurz již obsazen.

Really bad experience. Please don't trust this agency. The promised me some terms for yachting exam in November, but I still didn't get nothing!! I call them lots of time but, they ignore me. Really arrogant and ignorant company.

Neschopná organizace a arogance vedení celé agentury. Slibování termínu na zkoušky od listopadu a pak oznámení že budou zkoušky až v červnu? Naprostá neprofesionalita a velké zklamání. Vřele doporučuju vyzkoušet jiné agentury.
