We recently purchased 27 industrial steel shelving units from Yankee Supply for our facility — 25 larger units and 2 smaller ones. The pricing was competitive and Ted was responsive and helpful throughout the ordering process, accommodating our specific requirements including liftgate delivery to a location without a loading dock.

The shelves were purchased as used items and arrived with the expected dings, dents, and some bent edges — but that is simply the nature of buying used equipment and was no surprise to us. For the price, they are exactly what we needed: sturdy, adjustable, and functional.

Upon delivery, we discovered a discrepancy — some shelf panels were missing and the side brace components were incorrect. We contacted Ted, explained the issue, and his response was prompt and straightforward: the missing shelves would ship out the next business day. No back and forth, no hassle, no delays.

The replacement items arrived as promised and everything is now in order. What sets a good supplier apart is not whether problems occur, but how they handle them when they do. Yankee Supply handled it well. We would not hesitate to order from them again.

I recently purchased industrial shelving from Yankee Supply Company and while I understood I was buying used equipment, I wasn't expecting to receive damaged goods. Virtually all the wire decking was extremely rusty, and not light surface rust either. In many areas the rust had eroded the steel wire which was cause for concern due to a lack of structural integrity. The shelving is designed to store heavy pallets of vinyl. When I contacted them to get replacements, they asked for pictures which I sent. I heard nothing back. I contacted them again and was told the Operation Manager needed to evaluate the pictures. I heard nothing back, so I reached out again and was told, "That’s the only ones we have in stock right now, Nothing else to offer you." Unbelievably poor customer service and zero accountability on their part.

I had the pleasure of working with Yankee supply for my warehouse needs. I needed multiple racks set up in my warehouse ASAP. Ted and the team did just that. They were precise, accurate, and patient. I would highly recommend for anyone needing a reputable company they can trust to fulfill their warehouse needs!
