I have been buying this tea for over 25 years so I'm familiar of how it should taste I did notice about three years ago that something changed I don't know what happened in the supply chain or a change the recipe in some way for economic reasons, even today sometimes it tastes a little bit different in different places that I drink it. I have their loose leaf variety at the weekend in a teapot as the leaf pieces give more flavour they should be honest with their loyal customers! If they reverted it back to the recipie I don't mind paying more! I as it's vastly nicer than anybody her mainstream brands!

Talk about excellent customer service , probably the best in the UK , after doing a bit of research they are one of the top ten !! Their tea is the best !! Emailed them yesterday my problem was sorted the following day by Phoebe Dixon

I had a query about a pack of Yorkshire tea bags that I have been buying for well over 10 years now. The reply I received was very detailed and the explanation answered the questions I had most fully and satisfactorily. I have also been gifted a complementary pack of teabags. What service!!!

Prompt customer service.
I took a box of Yorkshire Tea away on a weekend in the Yorkshire Dales with a group of friends. Unfortunately half the tea bags couldn't be used as they'd not been cut/crimped properly before being packed in the factory. Half the bags were open and the tea lost. On my return I emailed Customer Services and let them know about the problem, including the batch details in case any other packages had been affected. I had a response by return, thanking me for getting in touch and if I gave my address, a new box would be delivered to me. The new box arrived today, just 2 days after my complaint. Yorkshire Tea live up to their claim where "things are done proper"!

Came here to read reviews to see if anyone else has experienced a strange taste from the teabags. I’ve been a Yorkshire tea drinker for many years and lately the tea taste is rather unpleasant. I use freshly boiled water don’t squeeze the bag and same milk but still have this unpleasant taste. Glad I’m not the only customer experiencing this

What's going on with Yorkshire tea it's my favourite. The tea is not the issue it's the bags, they keep splitting open and ruining my tea! I'd say the last five boxes have been the same. I'm getting probably half a box.

Great feedback from Yorkshire tea nearly as good as the tea they make

We had a problem with half a box of tea bags been unsealed which made half of the tea be loose in the box.
I contacted Yorkshire Tea and they are sending out another box of tea bags.

First class customer service. I absolutely love Decaf Yorkshire Tea. Never had a problem until my recent box, which contained many tea granules and half empty teabags. I contacted Customer Service and Brontë was super in handling. Highly recommend their decaf tea and excellent service.

The service and communication i received was perfect, they went above and beyond what I expected.

I raised an observation to their Customer Services team about problems found when separating tea bags from one another, meaning that one bag would split depositing loose tea all over the work surfaces and floor They quickly responded taking full responsibility for a fault with their cutting blades and in particular, Phoebe not only explained the issue but also sent me two complimentary boxes of Yorkshire Gold tea bags! That is brilliant customer service. Thank you Phoebe and of course, thank you Taylors.

Very disappointed with my Yorkshire Tea. The bags keep splitting and the tea is weak and not as strong as it was. Have used them for many years. Now looking for an alternative.

As a long term major tea drinker from
Doncaster I can’t help but notice a drop in quality and taste in Yorkshire Tea. Apologies but I’ve now quit the tea and I’m searching far and wide for a new brew. Sadly think going eco friendly has been used as an excuse to cut quality all round. Big shame!
