Helpful staff and fair price

I've got to say Your NRG were excellent re our delivery today, as they always have been. From the most competitive price, to our order coming just a day after the order, to the delivery driver, everything was brilliant. Must double mention the delivery driver, I didn't get his name, but you'll not meet a friendlier person, very courteous, nice to chat to when he was delivering the oil, a real credit to the company here in Northumberland.

First and last time, ordered oil over a week ago for delivery tomorrow, 6pm when they have all gone home they send a message cancelling delivery, not only are the prices sky high they then mess you about when you have less than a quarter of a tank … disgraceful

Convinced I only got half the product for what I paid. I’m not the only person who believes this given the same amount of oil lasted me twice as long last time and no one could’ve siphoned it because it was locked. Pleased I no longer use oil for heating.

First delivery last year was fine. I then asked for a fuel monitor via email complete with direct debit authorisation which was actioned immediately but the fuel monitor never arrived. I emailed the company both through my own email address and via their website on numerous occasions and nobody ever responded, despite receiving an automated response saying that a representative would get back to me within 24 hrs. Somebody then turned up at the house twice, without prior notification to fit the monitor. First time we were not at home, the second time, though not at home, two attempts were made to fit a monitor but both failed quoting insufficient WiFi strength - despite the old monitor from another company working perfectly. We then ran out of oil completely over a week ago - partly my fault, partly due to there not being a fuel monitor. I had ordered oil a week before giving them two weeks notice for the order but having ran out I phoned them on multiple occasions to say that I had run out, we were pensioners and had no heat or water but they were unable to get the oil to us earlier than the 23rd March - our original order date. Then, on the 20th March at 18.00 hrs I received an email saying they were unable to complete the scheduled delivery so we are still without heat or water. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. I appreciate there is a war on and things are difficult but these admin problems have been ongoing since November 2025 and to leave us without fuel for over two weeks is deplorable.

We ordered 500 litres on 01/03/26 have used NRG for over 5 years always been happy. We heard certain oil companies are cancelling orders and charging higher prices in the Norfolk area, Saying they only have storage for 1-2 days, I find that hard to believe! Think they are just trying to make extra profit, I hope people who have been let down by these companies remember and do not use them in the future. NRG invoiced us at the price quoted and delivered the right amount 1st class company!!! Would highly recommend.

Fair price for current situation. Easy ordering and excellent communication from ordering to delivery. Delivery was well within expected timeframe and delivery driver was polite and pleasant. Will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks for a great service.
