Adam Goodison is truly a wonderful teacher of karate. My daughter who is now 13 has been attending his classes for 5 years. It is undeniable how much her confidence, perseverance, self-esteem and self-discipline have grown as a result. She enjoys attending and looks forward to her karate lessons every week. Adam's teaching goes beyond karate skills. It is clear how much loves and cares for the children he teaches. I see him do everything he can to help them grow individually and collectively and he treats each and every one of his students with respect and appreciation.

This school is amazing. When teaching children Adam has the patience of a Saint! He relates to them regardless of their individual abilities or challenges.
When teaching adults he adjusts seamlessly. There is a great friendly atmosphere with lots of fun and interesting exercises to continually improve people’s techniques and understanding

At YSMS, my beloved "not-easy-going" son found his right place for doing sports, - is very happy! As parents, so are we,- lucky with the club, and Adam is an excellent instructor, caring and thoughtful.

YSMS is a great school. My children wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Their teacher, Adam, is stern yet fun. He will push yet is patient. He won’t do what many other schools do and up a belt because they’ve been so many classes. He makes sure they’re ready before giving them their next belt. No cheating in this school.
His passion comes through his teaching. He wants to get the best out of his students. In doing so, his students has a high level of respect for him.

My three children have been attending for many years and throughly enjoy it. My eldest started when she was 6 and now she is 14! Adam is a great instructor and is very professional. Communication is spot on.
