I really wish I had read the reviews before selling through them. They rejected a considerable number of CDs as damaged despite me having tested every single one of them before sending (and having rejected some myself).
The fact that they won't return the 'damaged' CDs is both irritating and suspicious.

Sent 4 items. The 3 priced at 50p have been paid for but not the one valued at £3.80. No details as to why. Not impressed.

With each trade, they say that they have not received at least one of the books. I now photograph the box during packing as evidence that all books were packed and should have been received at Ziffit. I also message them and ask them for the money they owe me, which is usually only pence but if this happens to everyone it adds up. Its the principle. Their processes at the receiving end must be choatic for them to 'lose' books so frequently!!!!

I have used Ziffit many times with no problems. But! This time my books were collected over 2 weeks ago and there’s been no communication from them since. The amount was not a fortune but added together with others having the same problem the total amount must be considerable! Avoid!

The payment was so much lower than the agreed amount that I feel cheated. 99% of the items were in excellent condition. They have not returned the rejected items. I wish I had ever done this.

Loaded up a number of books, took time to enter all my details (including bank account) only to get a "Network Error" fail. Every. Single. Time.
My network is fine - everything else works - so it must be a Ziffit/World of Books problem. App deleted. What a waste of time!

Traded with them for years but never again. 3 trades running they rejected some perfectly acceptable items. Gave the 1 more chance and they accepted all. However last trade back to their bad old ways of rejecting good items, now buying under the selling name of World of Books rather than Ziffit but still the same con merchants. How they stay in business with all these dreadful reviews I have no idea. Like all fraudsters they must rely on conning new mugs. Stay well clear they will filch your items.

Biggest scammers and thieves they will get your items and keep them without paying you. They will reject them and still keep them. They will not pay you. Stay away from these fraudsters!

As many others have noted, they consistently claim that items were not received at all, or else had water damage or some other problem and subtract money. It's a lie and happens too regularly to be anything other than a deliberate strategy to defraud the customer. You cannot get your items back or appeal in any way, they just take some of your stuff for free.

I sent 14 books, all in very good condition. They offered about £9.50 for them, but I have just received £5.38 - they say 4 of the books were not acceptable, and I can look for details on my account. When I checked my account, only 6 books were listed - so what happened to the rest? I've bought books from them in the past, but I won't be doing it again now I know they're ripping people off! If you've got books you don't want, take them to a charity shop - you won't get anything for them but at least you won't get conned.

My first experience with this company has been very poor. DPD cancelled the collection due to bad weather, with no indication that it would be rescheduled. Contacting the company, they advised would be in touch after 72 hours to reschedule. No contact was made. Chased up again. Then noticed my account is saying trade has been paid.
Contacted again for explanation, no reply yet received. Have lost confidence and giving up. Will not use again. There are better and more reliable book buying companies out there .

I have been trying to get paid - only £4 something, for nearly six months. First they said one of the books hadn't been sent. Now they are swearing that I gave them wrong payment details and as they've made a payment to an account they refuse to name, they can't do anything about it. Like other reviewers, I really wish I'd given the books to a charity and not tried to deal with this company.

These 5 star reviews are not correct
I have used ziffit several times during 2024 and haven't had a single good experience. Even wrote to the CEO to vent my anger. These 5 star reviews are bots or probably from World of Books staff.

Crooks. I submitted two trades to Ziffit, packed them up, clearly marked the box with the trade numbers and sent them via pick up by a courier.

One trade was processed and I had the payout as it should have been. That's fine, except that the other trade, worth significantly more has not been processed. The reason given, it was in the same box as the other trade! Funny how the trade with the smallest payout, which was logged second, was processed and the first was not.

Okay I made a mistake and didn't read the 'packing guide', but now those books not logged have mysteriously disappeared and cannot be found and Ziffit are refusing to payout and cannot return the books.

I have been using ziffit since july 2022 and made over 50 trades all paid out no problems what so ever these 1 star reviews are bots or from other companies trying to get them down

I sent two parcels . Only one arrived so their courier has lost my second parcel . Disappointing service and won’t use the new platform again . Very Poor !!!!

Please don't do business with this company.
I sent 23 items books and games they offered me approximately £17 which I was okay with. A few weeks later no cheque arrived, so went on the site only to find they had decided to pay me just over £10.
The company say some weren't up to their standard, but I don't believe that. I sold in good faith.
I am still awaiting payment.
Avoid this company like the plague. I give 1 star, but only because there was no option to have no stars.

Dealt with this company and after the first successful trade in which all bar one item was accepted and paid, I'm afraid subsequent trades were very disappointing. They are deceitful in rejecting so many items you know are in good condition and were sent as being "not sent" or "no disc" or some ridiculous excuse and of course it's the most expensive items they reject. What a sham and a scam. You have no recourse to challenge this deceit.
So I would not sadly recommend this company to anyone.
