Seiko Vintage Milsub Mod
Bought the Seiko Vintage Milsub Mod Watch. Purchased on July 11th, arrived on August 14th - not quite the speed I was hoping for. Wasn’t able to track shipping the way some others have claimed to have been able to, however I suspect it was shipped from China.
The watch itself is nice - new but made to look vintage. Almost impossible to slide the nato strap back through the fastener when on the wrist. Ended up just using the second fastener. Doesn’t have the weight of a real Submariner but they don’t claim to be selling a luxury timepiece. There’s a Chinese e-commerce site that sells some very similar designs that aren’t mods.
UPDATE 2/27/2025 - Today the “glass” popped off the top of the watch during normal wear. I was easily able to put it back in but there is no way this watch could withstand any water contact. *Taking another star off because of this.

Do NOT buy!!!! Watch arrived and was LOW quality. Tried to return, No response until after they were contacted by my credit card company. Return denied. i did not used the watch until after denied. Lasted 3 days before the band broke.

Don’t buy!!
Don’t buy!!! The email for customer response bounced back as the wrong watch was sent. Thankfully I stopped the financial transaction, watch finally arrived though, so we checked it out. The bezel doesn’t work. DODGY!!!

Seiko GMT bezel was taped on; fell off after 1 day; Zjani unwilling to exchange or repair
Bought a seiko GMT watch. After wearing it for just one day, the bezel fell off. Zjani is unwilling to exchange or fix the watch. Rather, they are sending me a new bezel and some two sided tape. I have no idea if I will be able to install the new bezel and I'm shocked they won't take responsibility to fix a new product like this.

These watches should be sold for 20 dollars. Buyers beware! Don’t let the fancy website and high prices fool you. Not water proof, bezel doesn’t click like other watches in the price point, and it’s poorly made. Don’t be fooled.

Can anyone explain if the seiko is battery operated or not? If not, how do I set the watch in motion?

Thanks for your question. Our Seiko-based watches are not battery operated — they use automatic mechanical movements. To start the watch, you can either:
• Gently shake it for a few seconds, or
• Turn the crown clockwise about 15–20 times to manually wind it.
Once it has power, it will keep running as long as it is worn regularly. If you need help with setting the time or winding, feel free to reach out to us anytime.
Great experience
I was a bit hesitant to order a watch from such a new website at first, but I gave it a shot and I'm glad i did. Ordering was easy, the price was great, communication was everything I wanted, and shipping was fast. Most importantly, now that I've had the watch for a few months, it's terrific as well!
