A company full of vendetta
The company/owner/support is full of vendetta.
I bought phones on two occasions - on one occasion I didn't know about the IR support in the phone and so bought it, realising just a few minutes later that the phone did not support IR and so asked them to cancel the transaction, giving the reason. They did so, which was good.
Then several weeks later, I bought the LeEco Max, only to realise a few minutes later that the next version of that device had been launched. So, I requested again for my order to be cancelled, which was done again and I was told I would be 'blacklisted' (the implication being if I wanted to avoid being 'blacklisted', I should buy the device). I proceeded ahead with the cancellation anyway.
I have been 'blacklisted', so I am not able to use my account to login. I know I can buy whatever phone I need from this website through a friend etc., but this is just plain wrong for the company to indulge in such practices on these grounds, especially because on both occasions I had cancelled the order before they even packed the goods, let alone deliver the same. I did not need to return anything because I notified them, on both occasions, within just a few minutes of placing the order! They did not incur any costs on shipping or packaging the goods for me in either case. Still, they blacklisted me!!
Their specifications are not accurate/consistent in all cases either, but that's a different issue.
Surely I can buy the phones elsewhere. That's besides the point though.
[Update] In reply to WondaMobile's reply, where they say they have to spend considerable time and resources to process orders even if not shipped, it is worth pointing out that a) Wonda Mobile hadn't spent considerable time and resources because I had contacted them very early on after placing the order and b) that they wanted this review to not be posted by reporting it to Trustpilot for violation of guidelines (however, Trustpilot was satisfied upon production of relevant evidences) - that fact, of WondaMobile attempting to get this review not posted despite knowing full well it's a genuine review conveys their attitude. I wouldn't have given WondaMobile even two stars after this but for the fact that I got replies to my emails fairly promptly (although I had pointed out to them, in one of my emails, problem with the accuracy of their specifications of some the mobile phones, and those specifications stayed inaccurate despite those emails).
