I was dumb enough to sign up for a Gigacube router with Vodafone. At the time I needed something in place fast in order to be able to work from home in an apartment that I had just moved in to. A word of warning to anyone thinking of signing up for this service: if your intended use for the Gigacube is to live a "normal online life" , meaning average streaming of series, music or podcast on evenings and weekends plus the occational work-from-home day, DO NOT sign upp for the Gigacube mobile router! It is absolute rubbish! I pay EUR 49/month for 155 GB "high speed internet" and data runs out in no time! Apparently Netflix "weighs more" in Germany than any other country?! There are options where you can "upgrade" your tariff, but with the catch that you have to commit for a minimum of 12months. Not an option. As soon as my contract runs out for this service I will defenitely NOT extend it.
