We owned a Salter digital kitchen scale for a number of years without problem but eventually the buttons got worn and were difficult to operate. We decided to replace it with another Salter kitchen scale and selected their top of the range Aquatronic Glass Digital Kitchen Scale. This is an inferior product to the old one. The on/off button occasionally sticks down, the display is dim and picks up reflections making it difficult to see but worse still, the batteries lasted only a few weeks before needing replacement even with only minimal use. I returned it, based on the battery problem hoping that there may be an electrical fault. Salter refunded my money without comment on any of the issues I raised. I do not recommend this product but don’t fault customer service.

Despite items in the news that suppliers are supposed to switch you to the most advantageous tariff, you have to do some of the leg work. In my case EDF increasing my monthly fees by about 25%. Once contacted they did change my tariff without exit fees. One has to remain vigilent.

I booked flights through MyTrip. I had an Easyjet return flight cancelled. I accepted their offer for a refund. Easyjet say that they have refunded the cost of my flight to MyTrip and that I should contact them. There is no way to contact MyTrip. MyTrip still have my money.
Since this review, MyTrip have contacted me in response to this review. I have attempted to send them a copy of a transcript with Easyjet showing that the money was refunded to MyTrip. My email was refused.
Over a month later, MyTrip have refunded me money sent to them by Easyjet. Easyjet sent MyTrip £139.78. MyTrip have only paid me £114.38. Avoid this company. MyTrip are absolute charlatans!

It was quite obvious from when I first contacted Epson that no amount of nozzle cleaning as advised from three separate members of the customer service team was going to correct what is a clear and obvious printer head misalignment. Earlier I had spoken to another member of the Epson Support team on the phone. Again, refusal to depart from the script and in my case abandonment of the call when the team member decided he was going for lunch has resulted in a complete waste of both their time and mine.
Attempts to find the charges on their website for a return of a printer for repair have failed as the website just keeps taking you back to the start.
At a time when many companies are doing much to enable their products to be easily repairable or re-cyclable to minimise waste, Epson appears to espouse in-built obsolescence by not making it worthwhile to repair them.
I have found the Epson Customer Service and Support Team unhelpful at nearly every stage. Having been advised by them to buy a new printer, it’s unlikely to be an Epson.

When I was a RAC member, I had an RAC battery, quite properly, fitted 18 months ago which has a 5 year warranty. Today the battery was so flat that it wouldn't open the car door. I am now with Green Flag who came and said that the battery had failed and needed replacement. They gave me a print out with all the numbers. After a charge it got me to my garage where I paid a £30 call out fee and summoned the RAC to replace the battery under the warranty. They refused citing a number of spurious reasons connected to the (almost) new alternator under the heading of "Battery failure caused by an electrical or mechanical fault associated with the vehicle". This is pure speculation and they have no empirical evidence to substantiate it. The garage have subsequently tested the car and agree with Green Flag that the battery has failed. This RAC warranty is worthless.

Prior to buying my Epson printer I went on their customer chat line to find out the height when loaded with A4 paper as my printer needs to go under a shelf. The person at the other end had not a clue about the product and after several exchanges and 35 minutes later I was given a measurement that transpired to be totally wrong and upon which I based my purchase. I received an apology that barely compensates me for having to make alterations to my office to accommodate my new machine.
I have also attempted to take up the cash back promotion so far without success. They continue to claim that I have not attached a receipt which I clearly have. This denial is impossible to gain say.
Whilst after 2 weeks I quite like the printer, my experience of customer relations has so far been negative.

Good price and delivered on time. Packing of my aluminium could be better but I suspect that the disappointing scratches were there before dispatch. Heavy polishing was required to remove them.
