They do very little for the egregious…

They do very little for the egregious fees they charge. If you ever have the mispleasure of having to contact customer services, they will rarely do anything to resolve your issue to any satisfaction.

Anything automated is good, otherwise sub-par

I purhcased a car listed on AT and supplied by Cinch. The car itself is as described, albeit with a few faults that are yet to be rectified. Whilst the abstracted hands off approach works "OK", when things do not fit their rigid model, it falls apart quickly.

The day before the collection, I had a question regarding documentation that was not answered on their FAQ's. I called and was on on hold for 25 minutes without being able to speak with a customer service member. I then tried to contact them via their whatsapp service, and received only automated responses. I emailed as a last resort with the same experience.

On the day of collection, I had a call from the delivery driver and they managed to answer my question, although the answer went against the general guidance given on the website!

A week later, a few minor faults (broken window switch pack etc) mean that a warranty claim/repair needs to be initiated. Again, I have attemped to contact customer services via their phone number and email. As of this review, it has been 2 full working days since the email to their customer services dept, and still I have had nothing other than an automated response that the email has been received.

Customer service is very important and I feel its lacking in anotherwise fairly polished service.

Edit: This review prompted a customer service agent to reach out and come to an appropriate resolution. I have added a star, but the review shouldn't have been required to come to a successful outcome.

The only availability for an…

The only availability for an appointment was 10 days away. Reluctantly accepted. They then cancelled the appointment on the evening before (which they would charge if you did to them), and offered one a further 10 days away. Time that could have been spent sorting another solution.
