Scam

Just don't use...

Ordered £200+ worth of stuff, but it never arrived. I asked them to update the delivery address to ensure I recieved - they apparently did and sent it again. Turns out it was to the old, same address... so yet again I didn't receive.

I then asked them to resend again to new address as I requested before, and they just randomly cancelled the order. 1000% the customer support are just bots, because they were so useless.

Like, I asked them why it was cancelled and they said because it was returned?! With no offer of trying to like, resend it back to me... Like at no point did they offer any help. Honestly hope they are robots, because people shouldn't be that stupid.

Their reply to this review says:
"We can see that our customer services team are working hard to resolve your
issue for you." - Its taken 20 emails to update the address. Its not that hard... Also email reply times are 10hrs+ on average. Doesn't seem they're working too hard... ;)

Great !!

Great !!! I was a bit worried after reading all these bad reviews, but I risk it. I bought converse for an amazing price and I didn't get confirmation email, but shoes came in 2 days, exactly what I ordered ! Just amazing !

Faultless service

Got a little worried when I didn't receive a confirmation email after reading these reviews. However I did get the confirmation once it had been assigned to the courier later that evening. Received the purchase the very next day. In all fairness it went perfectly, better than most competitors. Great service

100% worst company to deal with ever
Order never showed up in time for a camping trip. Studio and evri and 18montrose gave all the excuses under the sun. I was even told i had to pay for it still even Tho the delivery had clearly been stolen by there unreliable drivers. Make sure if you order a item from studio you shop around first because they will never be my first choice again. Oh and to add salt into the wound they didn't even have another one to send out to us. Ridiculously bad service

Shopping experience with 18montrose is horrible!
I made an order and selected pick up from post office near my home. I received notification from DPD that it has been delivered, and I went to post office but been told it has never been delivered. I made several contact then with DPD, seems 18montrose selected the wrong service. I contacted 18montrose several times, but all conversation with it are complete useless. The order is never delivered, no clue how can I get refund, and I wasted huge amount of time and energy on it.

Horrible horrible website, avoid using it if you can!

My first order from this store

My first order from this store, I was dubious about purchasing reading the negative reviews however I took a chance to get some DM's at a bargain price!
I paid for standard delivery and they were delivered the next working day. I'm really happy with my order and will use them again.
I didn't receive a confirmation email but did get emails from DPD when they received the delivery.

Worse internet clothing experience ever had ! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM . 100% clowns

I bought a Nike ACG t shirt . For near to 40 quid . When the t shirt came it was the wrong one - couldn’t speak to a human had to speak to android and then after the droid couldn’t find my code I was given to a rep. The rep was also unable to fine the. Number and was very long with there responses . Some times I had to type some thing more as i just felt they weren’t even working on my issue . After waiting so long for a response . On top of that after they gave me a free returns I learn I have to do everything to return and item I never ordered to them and all this time they have my money and I have some thing I didn’t even order - I think this is ridiculous- why the customer has to go through the pain of there error while they literally do nothing unless forced - more of companies sitting behind internet virtual machines to not pay people to do the job . I found it funny the “ get in touch sign “ has a phone even thou you can’t speak to human at all unless through black and white text . I asked to speak to a manager and they told me it wasn’t a manager issue . That they believed that there system is ok and I don’t have the right to speak to a manager or higher up representative. It’s totally disgusting disrespectful and out right rubbish. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY . it’s a non starter . And needs to be seen for what it is . While I was continuing to ask for a manager they just ended the text box . Totally rude. And disrespectful.
Will not be buying from this joke company again . And if I could leave a zero star I would . Sorry for my rant but this needs highlighting and I can see I’m
Not the only one .
Now I will go everywhere on the internet and ask people with more clout than me to talk about this . No one is treating customers like this without some comeuppance. Not on my watch anyway.

I have to say I’d never heard of…

I have to say I’d never heard of 18montrose and seeing the negative reviews here almost put me off but as the Dr Martens I was looking for we’re less than 1/3 of the retail price I thought I’d take a punt. Placed the order at 9:05pm last night (Sunday) and they arrived via DPD at 10:30am this morning (Monday!)…now I didn’t receive an order confirmation (looks to be a common issue) but I did receive tracking once they dispatched and a delivery window on the day of delivery. The shoes are amazing…yes the shoe box was packed only in to a plastic bag but DPD (again, in my experience) tend to be kinder to parcels!
Based on my personal experience, which was great…I’d recommend and return!

I'm giving 5 stars because the price is excellent, the shoes are perfect and the shipping was fast. I was also worried after checking reviews here and seeing other people say they weren't getting any confirmation emails after ordering. I had the same issue. Also no email received once dispatched so I couldn't track it. Customer service were really helpful and told me they would resend the emails but I still didn't get them. That does need to be fixed because it definitely looks like something is wrong there but apart from that absolutely no complaints from me and I will be shopping again here.

No emails, terrible refund policy

Had to chase them after a week for an order update. They had already charged my credit card for the whole order when 1 item was out of stock and they hadn't despatched. This contravenes their own policy that says money won't be taken "until your order has been picked and processed".
Because I had part paid on a gift card, they refunded me this instead of my credit card, even though it was their fault.
Like other customers, I did not receive any emails. They seem to have a big issue with Gmail but said they weren't aware of this!

BEWARE HUGE PERFORMING SCAM. THIEVES TO AVOID. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM

First of all, for my first order, paid, I never received a confirmation email (nor any proof) despite my many requests.
Then, 2 days later, the site charged me a second time for a non-existent order (£134). I asked them for an explanation: Morgan, their Customer Support simply refused to answer and closed the conversation. Since then, it has been impossible to contact them for valid information.
So I paid £280 with no proof of my first order and got robbed.

Bargain trainers delivered in 24hrs! Amazing!

Like some other customers here, I felt reluctant to place an order based on the negative reviews. But I thought it was worth a punt, as the trainers I wanted were a BARGAIN on the 18montrose website!
I placed my order YESTERDAY (July 31st) and they just arrived TODAY! Boxed, and in perfect condition! So, YAY! Thank you! And I'll definitely use 18montrose again! x

Will give zero star if I could

Will give zero star if I could. Bought a Rick Owens jacket and received notification it is being shipped. Days past no update on tracking. Messaged customer service and told to wait while investigate. Days past have to sent reminder and was told to wait 3-5 business days. No results and have to chase again snd was told parcel is lost in warehouse! Nonsense! Bullsxxt

Pass the buck customer service

Delivered to the wrong address then blamed the courier even though I had been very clear that I wanted it delivered to a shop due to previous issues with items being taken. Shared my personal details with the courier company. Was told it would be resolved in 3-5 days, then after that time it suddenly inflated to 28 days. Really let down. Even worse now they have said that as I had "leave in a safe place' directions on my home address that counts even though it should never have been delivered there as I was away for a long weekend

Ordered Filling Pieces shoe/trainers…

Ordered Filling Pieces shoe/trainers delivered thin bag , box falling to bits as clearly water damaged and shoes have water staining, only a chatbot to deal with and then the virtual agent cut me of after 3 secs as I tried to take and upload pictures as requested.
Terrible shopping experience and now I need to send back at my expense faulty goods.
I hope they refund my delivery and return shipping costs as they sent clearly damaged goods.
Avoid if you can the mass Sports Direct warehouse and all of these ‘Brands’ cannot deliver a quality service at the premium price being charged for both goods and delivery services.
Customer Service is non existent unless chat bots are the employees

Dirt under the soles on brand-new shoes (after a long and painful process, I got my money back)

Honestly, I am very surprised by what happened here, as it never occurred to me.
The overall shopping experience isn't great with no communications or order confirmation from them after the payment, a bit weird but ok.

What's hard to believe, given the reputation of 18Montrose as a well-known retail shop, is that the shoes I purchased—advertised as new—arrived with visible dirt under the sole and on the side, and even had a missing label. This situation is simply unacceptable and feels incredibly unfair to me.

I'd like to note that the box in which the shoes were delivered was incorrect. Nike ACG shoes, including the specific model I bought, are typically packaged in a brown-ish box, not the bright orange Nike box I received.

As a customer, I generally do not write reviews unless it becomes necessary to warn others. I have already reached out to customer support to address this issue, and I hope for a swift resolution. At this point, I would advise caution when considering purchasing from their online store."

Edit: After being in contact with them, they collected the shoes. Today I received back the same shoes with a letter saying they won't accept them as a return. I am speachless

Edit: Finally I managed to have the shoes collected and my money back. I still would not recommend this experience
