I ordered some iron-on transfers for t-shirts, I reviewed many places, and saw this one had some good turn-around times. I ordered with a 2.5-week leeway. The order said 5-7 business days for the order to be shipped. When day 8 hit, I checked and no shipping. I contacted them via live chat and was told it would be soon. Called at day 10, no shipping, told it would be by the next day for sure. Waited over the weekend until Monday, no shipping contacted them again by live chat, David was not helpful at all. Called and spoke to an agent, she said there was a 7 day shipping delay (????) what does that mean. Was contacted by her the next day and she said that it was going to ship, but my order was not complete because there was errors on the print. So they had this order 10 extra days, and just then they saw a error on the print. I had to have the completed set by Friday for Volleyball t-shirts. I did not have time for 2 more weeks. I contacted them several times assuring me that I would get them, by when I needed it. That is why I did not contact any other company. Now I only have partial orders, and no way to have them printed by another company by when I need them. Will never do business again with them. They are the hardest to get on the phone and or live chat. David the man who I chatted with on 3 separate times took absolutely forever to respond back to me...every time I typed a message it would take at least 10 mins for a response. I do not have time to live chat with someone for 1 hr.

I contacted this company to purchase inks and they told me which to buy. I waited about a week or so and they ran a sale and I made two purchases and when I finally tried the cartridges, they didn't work. They claim a one year guarantee on their website and I contacted them. They said they wouldn't reimburse .e for the opened cartridges and gave me such a run around and had so many details mixed up and delayed information about returning the other cartridges. I didn't hear back from them for about a week, and I decided to contact my credit card company. Whoever responded to the dispute completely lied or mixed up all the details. I am going to continue to fight this, but it has been a complete nightmare and no one should deal with them if this is how they treat and cheat there customers.

Buyer beware. Their website says "We are focused on the customer experience, and as such, go above and beyond to satisfy our customers. We only offer cartridges (inks and toners) that we have fully tested, for both print quality and longevity. It is true that we offer cheap inks and cheap toner cartridges, but discount inks does not mean that you are compromising on quality. We rely on word of mouth advertising as we operate on very low margins, and it is our quality and service that sets us apart from your other ink vendors and why we are able to offer our 100% Guarantee for 1 Year on all our value cartridges and a lifetime guarantee on our Premium cartridges." But in reality, if the cartridges you buy from them are not recognized they tell you the problem is that your printer firmware is the issue, and they cannot refund your money. They provide no advance warning or information as to what revision of printer firmware their cartridges will work with. So, the "100% guarantee" is a lie. Buy from this company at your own risk as customer service is nothing more than an email telling you this issue is yours.

Was in need of a new ink distributor and happened to get an advertisment email the day I went to order. Sam was EXCEPTIONAL, He was the Chat assistant rep. He was so kind and exceptional and I want you to know he is an outstanding employee. I only know his name is SAM... But he is an asset to 499 inks.com! Will definitely shop with you again. P. Customer service did not and was clearly not interested in my satisfaction. I provided the info they asked for and was basically ignored. They did not replace the faulty cartridges or refund my money. They barely communicated with me on email allowing weeks to go by without responding or resolution. Will not recommend them nor us them again.

Since I found that my HP Ink cartridges have been discontinued in my retail store I had to seek my cartridges elsewhere, even hope to find them, rather than buying a new printer for my at home use. Luckily I found 499ink and was able to secure what I needed. In finding my order was in error when it arrived (rather quickly) I connected with Sam Parker who was most helpful. He assured me that the ink cartridge I received would work just as well as the one I ordered and even better. I did have a concern that it might cause my printer to need recalibration which is not something I would be able to do, but he asked that I give it a try. I’m happy to say, he was right and I now have my go-to ink supplier. Thanks Sam!

David was very prompt with answering my question. This will actually be my 2nd time ordering and I will continue to order when needed. It’s amazing exposure with him. I would highly appreciate his hard work & knowledge about the product.

Cartridges are affordable and works really great. I recommend to my friends as well. Steve always help me to place the order and also take care for timely delivery.

Supposedly sold remanufactured inks but unfortunately I bought multiple from this vendor and none will work. HP printer states its not a genuine remanufactured ink. Scam.

He expedited my email concern involving an incorrect shipment and assisted with another order to receive the right ink.

I have been purchasing from 499 inks for years. I keep coming back because they offer the lowest prices of quality products that consistently meet my needs. If there are ever any problems they make it right. I have found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. But I generally ask for Patrick, as I find him to be professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
