66°North was founded in 1926 by Hans Kristjánsson with the purpose of making protective clothing for Icelandic fishermen and workers braving the North Atlantic elements. For nearly 100 years 66˚North’s products have been designed and proven in Iceland, worn by everyday people and outdoor professionals in some of the world’s most challenging conditions.
 In 2021 we became a certified B Corp, joining a global community of brands meeting high standards of environmental and social impact. Everything we make is approached with a circular mindset - designing and making products that are fit for purpose, made to last, repairable, and create minimal waste - with end-of-life considered at the beginning.

Uden sammenligning den dårligste…

Uden sammenligning den dårligste serviceoplevelse jeg nogensinde har oplevet!!
På vej på min skiferie stod jeg i Kastrup lufthavn, og købte en trøje til turen i North66’s butik.
Efter at have brugt den ÉN dag, så trøjen meget slidt ud, faktisk på en sådan måde at man ikke kunne bruge den igen.
Da jeg kommer tilbage i butikken for at bytte trøjen, bliver jeg fortalt, at det er en produktionsfejl, og at jeg skal skrive til kundeservice, da jeg ikke kan bytte deres butik (hvilken butik kan man ikke det i?!), men at det ikke vil være et problem at få den byttet.
Så jeg sender billeder, kvittering samt en forklaring til kunderservice, hvorefter jeg bliver mødt af beskeden: “… det ser ud til at være slid, så den dækkes ikke”.
Jeg kan ikke lade være med at tænke, hvad det ville koste at give mig en ny trøje? Tæt på ingenting?
I stedet står jeg tilbage med en ødelagt trøje, ingen penge refunderet og en lang dialog både i butik og på mail som endte ud i lige præcis ingenting, udover en ligegyldig prædiken om, “at de godt kunne forstå jeg var skuffet..”
At man som virksomhed af denne størrelse ikke har et større ønske om at møde sine kunder, forstår jeg simpelthen ikke.
Det bliver sidste gang jeg køber noget herfra, og jeg håber, at andre vil overveje det en ekstra gang også.

Love my hat and Tee!
Only bad feedback - I got additionally billed $30 for tariff AFTER I placed the order and it was on its way. Please inform your customers there may be added Tariff AFTER the fact.

I disliked the return shipping…

I disliked the return shipping procedure which is not customer friendly since too complicated and too expensive.
Hotline experience was positive, friendly and solution oriented.

Fine jacket

Fine jacket. Ridiculous import fees of half the jackets cost!! It’s the fault of the USA but a warning would have been good. I looked up what the fees were supposed to be (15%) and that was fine but the delivery service DHL charged 50% for “duty.” Beware!
I am trying to deal with DHL about this; the agent there told me they must have made a mistake, but I emailed the situation to them with a full description and they never got back to me.
I do want to reiterate that this is the best really cold weather jacket I have owned: both attractive and technically excellent. I am still glad I bought it even though with the duty the price is a bit heart stopping. I could not find a similar product in the US, which is why I went to a company in Iceland for this product. It is really well made, great materials, super warm and relatively easy to move about in. I am very pleased with it, in spite of the problem with the price, no fault of theirs.

Simply the best winter wear

Simply the best winter wear, especially for winter running, skiing, and other athletic activities. Fantastic life-long quality well worth the price and investment. Even US tariffs won’t stop me from continuing to buy from my favorite store in Iceland!

The produtcs are nice BUT

The produtcs are nice, but their speed of shipping, information level and customer service is very poor, unfortuanetly.
My family and I placed 3 orders in JAN26 - 2 out of 3 we did not receive info about shipping. And eventhough it says 1-4 business days delivery time - all orders took much longer transit time.
Only way to get reply is chat on their website, but very useless replies and they promise to check with warehouse and get back to you, but never received reply.

I was unhappy with the return and…

I was unhappy with the return and exchange policy. When the item I ordered didn’t fit, an exchange for the correct size wasn’t available, and I was required to pay return shipping. Because of this experience, I won’t be buying from 66°North again.
