The main reason I have given this show 2 stars is because for me it was way too loud. As some others have said, the bass was overwhelming. At the beginning, when they were playing those 2 little known... Ver mais

I’m not a fan of Abba but this was a birthday gift so I tried to keep an open mind! And some of their music is bearable (Fernando)? But for me it was awful! Seriously! people waving and swaying to what is technically a cartoon and I cannot believe the price of the ticket (£127). Thought I’d got caught up in some dystopian prank! Weird how people are so happy or content with that kind of non-show!! Easily pleased!
Mind blowing fantastic visual affects.
Mind blowing fantastic visual affects.
It was like ABBA live would certainly go again loved every minute...
Went few days ago
Went few days ago. I was expecting a concert/show, but I've got brilliant band, sounds and visuals. What I was missing was crowd entertainment and engagement, perhaps dancers. Stage was big enough for attributes to move, but they were stuck and haven't moved more than 1m. It was boring. People were just sitting and singing the songs but no dancing, even the dancing area. And the worst: they didn't sing my favourite song.
Second time visit
Second time visit. Amazing and must visit!!! Even if music not your favourite the technology will blow you away. Go before too late.
The best concert experience I've ever been to.
I've now been three times and cannot praise everyone involved in putting Voyage together. Least of all ABBA, what can I say to the four members of this supergroup. Thank you doesn't do it justice, your music has been a huge part of my life (I'm 60 this year) and personally speaking I send my love and admiration to you all. The concert is awesome, something to behold and is quite honestly the best concert I've ever seen/heard. The technology involved is groundbreaking, the lighting and sound incredible. ABBA still breaking records and long may it continue.
Awesome!!
I can't quite believe the negative reviews on here.. perhaps these people are just Karen's who are never impressed by anything. I found the whole experience to be much better than I expected. The technology is incredible! The holograms look like real people. At times it's hard to believe they are not. And the animation/avatars on the screens are impressive too. The lights etc added to the overall experience. In terms of the set list, there were plenty of the big hits and a couple of lesser known songs, which were also great. The venue was cool. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. I'm not sure what there is to complain about. This show is like nothing else anywhere in the world. I am already planning on return it and I'll certainly recommend it to people in my life who haven't been. For the record, I'm not an ABBA super fan (I'm 33 and generally not that into pop music), but of course know and appreciate their songs. And I really was impressed and engaged by this!
Excessive volume
Read another review on here saying it was completely spoilt by excessive volume and I couldn't agree more.
On entering the arena I was told by the guy scanning our tickets to get ear defenders for my 9 year old as the show was extremely loud.
I had ear plugs and still struggled. Unfortunately we ended up leaving the show as my daughter was upset and I was feeling unwell from the base levels.
On a plus side we were in the cheaper seats at block F and the view was good.
My daughter has seen 16 shows and has never asked to leave before.
I do believe the volume has changed recently so maybe it used to be more enjoyable.
Not great!
My best mate booked tickets for us to see the show on 12.04.2025 in the standing area. It was hugely congested, maybe fire risk/health and safety issues. Went to the bar 20 minutes into the show with my other mate, when we came back I accidently trod on someone's foot and spilt a tiny bit of wine on her ABBA flares, she involved the security guard and I got evicted! They wouldn't let me back in, so she basically paid £104 for a ticket and I didn't even see the show!
Fantastic….
I cannot believe some of the bad reviews.
It was fantastic. We were on the dance floor and had loads of room to move around. We arrived just as it started and I were at the right hand side of the stage at the front. It Doesn’t seem to matter where you stand the view is brilliant. The sound was brilliant. The avatars were brilliant. Personally, I wouldn’t book a seat. We kept looking back at the audience behind us and they didn’t look like they were enjoying themselves as much we were. You will not be disappointed. Also, all the staff were so friendly, from the security to the bar staff, they actually looked like they were enjoying their jobs. I cannot wait to go back.Btw Go to snooze box after the gig it carries on the party with the ABBA theme. Absolutely brilliant night. You will not be disappointed 😃
Completely Spoilt by excessive volume
So id been to see this 2 years ago and it was fantastic. So we thought we’d return, wow what a disappointment. The volume of the show was simply ridiculous so loud it was painful to listen to. Spoilt what ABBA are about & turned into a heavy rock show. In fact it might be contravening health and safety for excessive decibels my watch went off several times, warning of an excessive loud environment.
Not what I was expecting!
I so looked forward to going to this event but what a disappointment! Tbh it was like going to the cinema! I'm not sure what I expected but it wasn't that! Abba looked like characters from a video game!
Extremely overpriced and disappointing 😞
Security staff were rude
Security staff were rude! I happened to stumble on the stairs...accused of being drunk, I got thrown out! Wouldn't listen and would not let me back in!
Several reviews on other platforms report the same by staff. Get a grip!
Oceanbird Lounge
Well as a valentines treat I thought I would include the Oceanbird pre and post event. Well not sure why they say complimentary food and drink I’ve just paid £100 each. While there got offered the post event £40 for 2 people. Not bad I thought. Went in found a seat got 1 drink each. 30 minutes later it closed 2 drinks for £40 really. Felt totally ripped off. Dont bother is my opinion.
A fantastic and innovative blast from the past
My husband bought us tickets as a surprise last weekend for a fun night out. What a fantastic show it was, we loved every minute of it. We had seats in row B behind the dance floor and the view was brilliant. Minutes in and you forget that you’re watching holograms. The detail is incredible, from the light reflecting off them in the dark to the texture of their skin. The band and live singers are brilliant, as are the staff who add to the atmosphere and know how to get the crowd going. Loved every minute and hope it’s the start of more shows like this. Only downside was the ridiculous price of the drinks. Even the bartender expressed their shock over the price of the bottles of water (£6 each) and helped us find a better priced alternative instead. Other than that, no complaints!
Really enjoyable
We sat down central position and all 6 of us thought it was an excellent show, really enjoyable. It actually did feel as if it was ABBA live!
Amazing Experience, Not to be Missed!
Amazing Experience. I went 2 years ago with my wife, had the best time and last week took my 25 yr son and 22 yr daughter (nether of whom are big Abba fans). Both my son and daughter said it was such an immersive spectacular show that they didn't want it to end! The 1.5 hours (no break) went by like 45 mins. You can't really go wrong anywhere you sit as it is only a 3000 capacity auditorium, there are no bad seats (we paid £50 a ticket booked 6 months in advance) In fact if you are at the front of the dance floor you will not see all the lighting effects which travel around the entire auditorium. The band were amazing as well and all staff were very friendly. The only criticism I have were the 2 songs where the stage just showed a cartoon animation for "Eagle" and "Voulez-Vous" neither animation had any relevance to Abba or the experience overall. Would much have preferred 2 further ILM motion captured performances. I am hoping there are further tracks that were motion captured to mix it up a bit for future concerts. I have no complaints about the song choices, all of which any real ABBA fan would know. The ones some people will say they don't know are: The opening track "The Visitors" followed "by Hole in your Soul" and 2 tracks from "Voyage": "I Still have Faith in you" and "Don't Shut me Down" the latter 2 very relevant as they are songs about their 40 year hiatus and comeback. I will no doubt be looking to go again in another couple of years time, Fantastic Show!
(BTW we parked at Westfield Stratford shopping centre, 8-10 hours cost only £8, had dinner there and took the DLR towards Lewisham for 1 stop to Pudding Mill Lane as ABBA auditorium is directly opposite the station, £1.90 per person per way using debit card, just remember to tap out when exiting Pudding Mill Lane!
Know your drinking limits!
I originally saw the show a year ago with my husband in the seated area (a present from our daughter) and I was blown away! I returned yesterday with my daughter and sister in the dance area. The show was fabulous once more, apart from the excessive amount of alcohol consumed by some people. We had a group of women that decided to start arguing and fighting amongst each other and then we had the constant pushing and shoving with people’s constant trips to the bar and spilling drinks on people. The organisers need to seriously look at this and beyond a certain point stop serving drinks. Tickets are not cheap so why should a few spoil it for the rest of us that know what our limits are!
As a lifelong ABBA fan I was a bit…
As a lifelong ABBA fan I was a bit disappointed overall, I was in a close row but it was hard to see the avatars on stage. In front of me was a large standing area that was more like a moshpit than a dance floor, Things that did not work were animations for some songs instead of the avatars and having live band with female singers do Bjorns Does your mother know you are out, Lasers and lights were a bit too much at times and made me dixzy and drowsy. It felt less like an ABBA concert and more like an experimental exhibition to make money and boost egos by looking young.. Would have liked to see more favourites like Supertrouper and Money Money and they could have made show longer to accomodate both these and their new songs. It is the only way to see ABBA live and worth a look but not for the price they were charging.
